Javier gave us a reasonable quote to trim our massive ash, maple, crepe myrtle and walnut trees. These trees were planted by my grandparents some 60 years ago and are huge and not easy to access in a small yard. He and his crew did a great job cleaning up the severely overgrown trees without butchering them and they left the property spotless. Javier and Jocelyn did an amazing job cleaning up and restoring our poor Southern Magnolia that had been butchered by a previous so-called "tree trimmer". Proper tree trimming is a lot like floral arranging -- but in reverse. Meaning, you are selectively removing individual stems and branches in order to achieve visual balance and symmetry while still maintaining a natural and aesthetically pleasing shape. Javier was super responsive. Needed 4 trees trimmed and Javier set up a time to look at them and give a quote. He had to reschedule but it wasn't an inconvenience. Asked a lot of questions about how we wanted trees to look, how much to trim, and gave some great suggestions based on the tree type. Showed up on time, and confirmed again how much he would trim on each tree. When he was about half way through, asked me to look at what had been done so far, and if I was satistified. After, he walked me through what he did and why. It was just him, and one other person so it took the better part of the day but worth it. They went above and beyond to clean up, even cleaning off the drive way, and our side yard yard has never looked so clean! That attention to detail was outstanding. My property had two large Podocarpus trees, as well as multiple Eugenia' that were entirely overgrown, and other plants as well that needed cutting back.
