This place is an international buffet that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is no need for reservations. On a daily, they change their food offerings. It's a great place to try out different cuisines. We ate here most of our stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana because of the variety. Their staff was very attentive and always served you with a smile. Tips are optional. We loved their outdoor seating area with the view of the Caribbean sea.

Juices, bacon, sausage, all types of meats, omelet station, lots of fruit, tons of tea varieties, etc. All types of coffee are available including vera cruz and mexican coffee. The service was excellent too. Wait staff is very attentive and appear to enjoy what they do. Ambiance is nice and perfect for families with babies and kids. They even have an area for kids to play with toys while the families eat nearby. Dinner is really good here as well and lunch is okay. My favorite food to get here is their omelets and the papayas. WORTH IT. I literally had the equivalent of 10 whole papayas while I was here. My party thought I was nuts until they tried it themselves.

Left side is for kids with a gated kids' area and they even have baby food. How cool is that? Sure you do have sit down breakfast spots at the resort but I prefer to get whatever when I want instead of waiting to be brought to me. Saves precious time to enjoy the rest of the resort. Lunch was OK. They have a meat grilling and fish grilling station. You can never go wrong with grilled to order steak. They have a small sushi cart but I stayed away from it. It didn't look too appetizing. Sometimes they had a ramen station as well. I preferred to eat lunch by the pool where they grill different things everyday. I had 2 dinners here. Once I came around 8:30pm and another time as soon as it opened. Wasn't too impressed the first night but the 2nd time they had all kinds of seafood. Seafood is my jam and so that was the best dinner during the entire stay. We enjoyed fresh oysters, tuna sashimi, different kinds of ceviche, crab legs...the works. I'm not sure if they rotate items on a daily basis but their seafood night is legit. Other family members loved the steak grilling station and the fish grilling station. Definitely recommend.

The smoothies were terrible. Don't bother. Orange juice tastes like it's fresh squeezed. That was a nice surprise. I did go for a quick bite at dinner time one night. The station had lots of topping choices and there were 2 going at the same time, so no waiting in line. I usually only eat turkey bacon at home, so the real bacon here was a real treat to me! And who doesn't love eating FRESH SMOKED SALMON with breakfast - what a treat! I also had a cantaloupe and pineapple plate and the fruit was so perfectly ripe, it was almost hard to pickup with a fork! My fiancé had the french toast after we heard another couple talking about it at check-in last night ... it truly didn't disappoint! You could see the granules of sugar on top mmmmhmmm! He also made his own chilaquiles ... look at that pickled onion on top - amazing! He also had this really delish candied pear that had a plop of whipped cream on top, as well as other fruits. It was the perfect level of sweet and tart mix. Of course don't forget to order your mimosas and bloody mary's to go along with your epic breakfast!

There is a mini fridge but it doesn't keep drinks cold at all, it's more like a wine cooler. There was no ice bucket or ice machine so we had to bring our own metal water bottles to the bar everyday. The view was nice, however you get no sunset from this side. We only had the breakfast buffet included, which in my opinion is all you need. We came to the buffet for dinner one night and the options weren't great. Definitely would recommend only getting the breakfast included pass. The asian restaurant was amazing!! All the staff were so incredibly kind and made our experience so special. The staff is all very nice and very helpful, we got to check in early (12:30pm). The cleaning service takes a bit, we were out from 11:45 am until 2:45 pm and our room had still not been cleaned. The pool here is very nice, it's huge. There is 2 "hot tubs" and one big pool. The beach is right outside of the hotel which is also very nice. The cabana service was great, you pay once for a day (about 65 USD) and get many options for food and drinks. My biggest complaint would be the LOUD construction. On our last day at this hotel, We got woken up at 9:30 am to extremely loud construction in the room next to us. Nonstop banging on walls and it sounded like they were jackhammering into our walls. This lasted HOURS. I'm sure this isn't a common occurrence, but it was extremely annoying and we had no warning this was going to be happening during our stay.

Krystal International Vacation Club  - Nearly the biggest mistake of our lives…read more ______________________________________ TL:DR - Krystal Vacation Club is about 95% Fraudulent, will lie and say anything to get your money, and won't give it back even if you cancel in the legal period. Run far, far away.  _____________________________________________ This review is for the Vacation club presentation, not the hotel...there are already hundreds of those reviews... Everyone at these early interactions promises they are not a timeshare - that's lie number one. I dont care what you call it, but if you are asking for tens of thousands of dollars up front with the promise of some kind of vacation club, you are pushing a timeshare. They offered a free breakfast the next day, a private ride to Playa Del Carmen (which we needed to get to Cozumel), and a snorkelling trip. Ok....fair enough. It didn't help that we began this journey looking to get out of our previous timeshare (Hilton), and that apparently made us even easier targets.  They put us with a man named "Grayson", and he was a pro. We were used to timeshare sales people being friendly and engaging, but the kicker was that he knew everything about our Hilton Vacations program. We were relatively new to Hilton Grand Vacations, but he understood it better than we did, including all of our frustrations and fears about rising maintenance fees, special assessments, difficulty booking and just the issues dealing with HGV in general. In the interest of keeping this short-ish, I'll outline what they promised us.  - 200 Nights of vacations at Krystal Resorts around the world - to be used over the next 10 years.  - Buying us out of our Hilton membership (supposedly as a large corporate entity they could do this and basically write it off as a loss...it made sense at the time...) - Discounted flights twice a year through a third party exchange - 25% of any other vacations booked through the Krystal Portal.  It wasn't cheap by any stretch, but after saying no three or four times, they finally got us. We drank the champagne, signed the paperwork, and were on our way, feeling great...for about a day... That night after 2 or 7 drinks, I started looking the company up (something I tried to do during the meeting with no success), and I started to get worried. There's basically nothing about this company online, and what does exist is horrible (I hope to add to that!). I tried all the travel websites along with reddit and facebook, and just got more and more worried. "Grayson" tried to reassure me that everything was progressing fine, but after a couple more days spent worrying about it instead of enjoying our trip, we made the call. Cancelled via email and also went into town to mail a certified letter. If we hadn't been 3 hours away we would have done it in person as well. Mexico has a 5 day recission period, and we were well within that, so the folks at Krystal, after a few complaints, agreed to the cancellation, on the condition that we would not take any action against them or post any negative comments online. And...we were fine with that as long as we got our money back.  Then, the least surprising thing ever happened - that's right, NOTHING! No refund, no contact, no answers. Even my buddy Grayson stopped answering texts. Luckily we had documented everything, and even opened up a complaint with our bank while still in Mexico "Just in case", which was fortunate. We sent all 50 pages of documentation to the bank once we were home, and about a month later the money was back in our hands. I won't lie...we felt like the world's biggest idiots for a while, but at the end of the day we won and it felt good. These folks scam a LOT of people, and while it wasn't pretty, we got our free stuff, saw through their lies, and came out ok. The best part? I got confirmation it was all fake. Obviously at Krystal the right hand doesn't talk to the left hand, because a few weeks after all this went down, I got an email granting me access to their site, and unsurprisingly, it was all lies. 200 free nights? Lies. The free flights? Lies. Buying us out of Hilton?...cant 100% confirm, but seemed shady as hell, and we'd have probably been stuck with both. At the end of the day, all I see on the site is 25% off Krystal Hotels (and nothing else), if we booked through their portal. That's it. What a joke... So yeah, some of their hotels seem nice enough (read the other reviews for that), but when it comes to the vacation club, DONT DO IT.

All the food was delicious (Extensive Salad Bar & "traveling meats"). The buffalo & lamb were my favorites. Couldn't bring myself to try the baby pig that was brought over, head on & all. We also ordered beer & tropical drinks (Paloma & Pina Colada's) which were very good. The restaurant decor & ambiance is what you would expect from a typical Brazilian Churrascaría very tasteful. It wasn't cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Service was above & beyond from all the staff. Super attentive to your every need! Make sure you ask for the specific type of meat that you like & they will bring it over. Never feel bad passing on meat that doesn't sound good or asking for more servings if you specifically prefer a certain cut. Would highly recommend giving it a try at least once. *They also have Valet parking included if you have a car.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated.
