The food needs to improve. All inclusive resort that is what you expect but nothing more.

This place has it's ups and downs but overall for price it is a good deal. I believe all inclusive is offered however went with breakfast only on my stay. Since we did alot of walking and activities outside of hotel thought this was perfect. Pros: Convenient location- nightlife at your fingertips, restaurants and stores walking distance. Concierge- attentive and friendly staff at all times. Amenities- multiple amenities and activities to enjoy on your stay. Kid friendly. Cons: Breakfast buffet- not greatest quality good however is a great add on to your stay since you can wake up not trying to figure out what will eat so early. Lobby/check-in- this part sucks since wait times are extensive which seems to be all due to poor computer system they operate I assume? Room- furniture condition could be better/upgraded. Bed mattress more on tough side and furniture all around chipped or damaged specially in restroom. Hotel bar- cool bar area however closes too early. I believe 10pm. On my visit in May it was Sargassum (seaweed) season which totally ruined my stay since I had a great ocean view room but clear ocean beach view was ruined by dark brown sargassum. I mean tons of it were you were not able go even see clear waters if you were at the beach. I had to take a walk down the beach to be able to get in the beach at other resorts with cleaner beach areas. I know hotels are not to blame for this and seems like staff or government officials are working constantly to clean this as much as possible. Assuming you are on a budget trip and would like to be in the heart of cancun and nightlife this is your place if you are not looking for luxury but also looking for more than decent place. So much potential in this place with a good renovation/upgrade. Greatly located with great views (except sargassum season).

Loved this hotel. Stayed at Krystal Cancun for the first time. Some pros & cons but overall a great value. Staff was friendly, room was clean & fresh, pool & beach are both great. Hotel is in a great location, close to all the clubs (less than 5 minute walk) & restaurants. And the value was excellent. Pros: Great location: close to Coco Bongo, Mandala, The City, Congo, Monkey Business, Rakata, DCave, Señor Frogs, Hooters, Abolengo, etc Nice pool! It's big and has deeper & shallow areas. There's a nice waterfall that is so refreshing. Lots of pool chairs/beds available. Beach is nice. Waters are mostly clear but seaweed might be there, depends on the day. The waters can be a little rough, but if you walk to the left, there is a man made sea wall where waters are calmer (Just watch out as it is hard to get your footing in the rocky shoreline) Back to Krystal, there are lots of beds/chairs & many of them have these great tiki umbrellas for shade. There a many locals who also come to the beach. They don't use the hotel chairs. Lobby is large, clean and very nice. There is free water at the bar and free coffee in the morning by the entrance to Aquamarina. Our room had fierce A/C! It was super cold and often too cold (I will address this in the cons section) The strong AC was very welcoming when you come in from the hot Cancun sun. Lots of storage space. My husband used the 3 drawer dresser & I used the handy closet with 4 shelves. There were also a table & chairs, useful for when you wanted to eat or drink in comfort. The closet had a standard electronic safe and an ironing board. There is a mini-fridge. Since we were not all-inclusive, we didn't touch the drinks inside. We were able to store drinks we bought from outside & leftover food. Bathroom had a rain shower, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion & several towels. There is a box of tissues, sufficient TP & a hair dryer. Another nice touch is the wristband: it is used to open your room. It's also your access to pool towels. Cons Lobby was super hot. A/C was on but barely noticeable. It's worse in the day obviously. The heat is stifling. The workers are visibly affected & some seem to be suffering. Line to check in took an incredibly long time. While there were 2-3 agents at the desk, it moved super slowly. Plus it was hot so everyone was hot & sweaty & irritated. Room A/C was super cold, which was welcome on hot days. However, the A/C couldn't be turned down (made warmer) so to sleep comfortably, you had to turn it off altogether. This is interesting because there is a sign in the room saying not to turn the A/C off. The water in the bathroom turned light brown by our 4th day and it stayed that way. We let the water run for a long time but it never resolved. The coffee maker in the room did not work. The water would boil but not make it to the chamber with the coffee. Once I notified management, they replaced it. The Starbucks area was supposed to be open 6am daily (according to the directory posted on the hotel wall) but it wasn't. The Mediterraneo restaurant (wish I could review that separately) Food was good but portions were small. Menu was expensive. Waiter (Jesus) asked us if we wanted water & we said yes. Then he brought out a big bottle of Evian LOL. (had I known it was Evian and not free house water I would have declined) Jesus was a good waiter, attentive & worked very hard. Unfortunately, when we paid our bill, he didn't tell us that he added a tip (when he entered the amount on the credit card machine) So when we paid, we gave extra and told him to keep the change (as tip) So we ended up paying 32% tip unwillingly. Overall, we loved this hotel. It's in a great location, has a nice beach & pools, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations and all at a reasonable price.

Very nice beautiful view. Forget about expectations that you bring from state side. Relax it's Mexico not Boston or New York. If you remember where you are its natural beauty will give you everything you need. Night life is just outside the front door and the gorgeous view and ocean is on the footsteps of the back of the hotel. I give it 5 star despite never getting my champagne Champagne promise in the Priceline won't arrive despite the many calls to front desk. Elevator is optional meaning it works half the Times. That said you will bring back great memories if you relax and enjoy what the environment has to offer let go of your New England expectations set aside all that and have the time of your life.

I loved this spot. We went resort hopping for our experience and this was the first stop. We were on vacation cloud 9 and Krystal Cancun was awesome! We actually stayed at Krystal Grand but they are all together so here we are. I thought the layout was awesome, the room was clean and soooo beautiful. We were caught in a rainstorm that was SO COOL. I know it was super rainy our whole trip but I love fresh rain. The pools were super cute. The infinity pool hardly ever had anyone in it so my bestie and I decided to take it over for a whole afternoon. She was getting over a hangover and I was just getting started. Happy hour style for me. A shot of tequila from the pool while ordering lobster and a cheeseburger...to the pool!? LIVING MY BEST LIFE IN CANCUN BABY. The staff was so freaking friendly, I loved them. The pina coladas were on point. The room was awesome. The view was awesome. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We were woken up by the nicest housekeeper because our slider door was jammed and the whole place got a humidity layer of water and she just came in and helped us clean it up. I think the only thing we didn't love was the room service. The food was pretty expensive and pretty mediocre. The pizza was underdone and there was a random burger I was charged for that I did not order. The breakfast included option is a MUST. The chilaquiles are something I crave to this moment. They were the best chilaquiles I had all trip and I was eating that dish daily mijas. And the green juice. I am obsessed with green juice now. Period. I truly loved the experience, how close it was to the hotel zone like, party zone. All of it was amazing.

DO NOT BOOK HERE ! Rooms smell like crap. Water was cold never heated up while I showing. Elevators didn't work. Covid test lab closed on Sundays. Room was not up to part. Room door locked us out 3 times. Would not recommend overall ‼‼‼‼

I want to warn you of the USD ATM near the lobby. The screen was extremely hard to read and I saw a $56 ATM withdrawal fees on my account today after withdrawing $400 from this machine.

I booked this resort for a trip with a group of my girl friends this past March! I read the other yelp reviews after already booking the hotel, so I felt a little nervous coming into the trip based off of what others were saying. But I have to say I had a wonderful time at the Krystal Cancun! Location: 5/5. You can easily walk to all of the night life and shopping which is a major plus especially if you're coming for spring break! Also, the views from the hotel and especially the pool and beach area were AMAZING! This location is unbeatable Food: 3.5/5. I was most nervous about the food options coming in because you never know how it's going to go with an all inclusive. The buffet wasn't my favorite but other people in my group found things they enjoyed. We ate at both of the resort restaurants (Italian and Mexican) and both were pretty good. They weren't spectacular but they were good and we weren't really coming to Cancun for a culinary experience. One thing to note is that if you want to do dinner at one of the restaurants, you have to make reservation the morning of. The pool food was probably our favorite out of the dining options; we LOVED the fish tacos, guac, and chicken tenders. We ordered off of the midnight room service menu and the food was just fine but it was convenient to be able to order at any time especially after a night out! Room: 4/5. Unlike other reviews on here, our room was perfectly fine. It was clean and cleaning service came every day to restock toiletries, bring fresh towels and make the beds. We had an issue with our toilet flushing which was the only real issue with our room. We were able to take a warm shower at the end of the day and sleep in a clean room which is all we really needed. It's definitely not the nicest room I've stayed in but for the price of the resort I thought it was great. Amenities: 5/5. The pool and beach areas are PHENOMENAL!! We spent every day lounging at the beach or in the pool and we had an amazing time. The pool has a swim up bar and a tiki bar so we were able to take advantage of the unlimited drinks all the time. All of the staff at the resort was very kind and accommodating to us. The lobby bar was small but we were always able to order drinks and find a spot to relax as a group in the large lobby area! Overall: this isn't the nicest resort I've ever stayed at but for the price I think it was great! I would recommend it for anyone who's looking for a spring break resort where you have great access to night life and a great place to relax and enjoy the pool during the day!

Truly Felt Like Family -- An Unforgettable Stay at Hyatt Ziva Cancun…read more Where do I even begin? we traveled here for my birthday and from the very first moment we arrived at Hyatt Ziva Cancun, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness. The staff immediately made us feel at home, and that feeling continued throughout our entire stay. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful--spotless, incredibly clean, and very well maintained. The service was exceptional. A huge compliment to the management team for combining the high standards you expect from a Hyatt resort with the warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality of Mexico. That combination made our experience truly special. And the food! We tried every restaurant during our stay, and honestly, the food was fantastic everywhere. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the French restaurant, but we enjoyed every place we tried. The rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, and had amazing views. I was especially impressed that our room was serviced twice a day. There were also plenty of activities throughout the resort, and we had so much fun participating in them. But what really made this trip unforgettable were the people. A very special thank you to Leila Guirin, Diana, Virgilio Castillo, Odalys, Angelica, Alejandro, Roman, Diego, Jazer, Natasha, and especially the amazing Edgar, who seems to wear many hats! Edgar was not only a fantastic entertainer but became someone we truly considered a friend. These are just some of the names I remember. Unfortunately, I lost the list I had written because there were so many other wonderful people I wanted to recognize. But I can sincerely say that every single person we encountered was friendly, respectful, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now I understand why Hyatt Ziva Cancun refers to its guests as "family." It isn't just something they say in their messages or emails--they actually make you feel that way. We weren't treated simply as hotel guests; we were treated like welcomed friends and loved ones. That genuine Mexican hospitality, friendship, and warmth is something I will remember long after the vacation itself. Thank you to the entire Hyatt Ziva Cancun family for giving us one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. You made our stay phenomenal and truly unforgettable. We arrived as guests, but we left feeling like family. I cannot recommend Hyatt Ziva Cancun enough, and I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to return!

Marie, Frank and America = the ultimate trio butlers to have during your stay…read moreWe ran into Marie more often and absolutely just loved her warmth and hospitality Everything here is everything you need. From beautiful sunrise to sunset, it's a must come. Mercado Buffet - (as pictured) the woman who was there everyday when I was there, was the bomb! Made tacos so promptly and they were so yummy. Definitely I looked forward to every morning! Habanero - Rafael M., we saw him on our last day. But never have I ever seen anyone so hard in such hot weather and be grateful to meet, greet, serve so many people and still put a smile on his face. If we went the beginning of our trip, I don't doubt we would have been there every single day because of him! The Spa - CESAR! Sofia and Sara are the people you need to cross paths. Cesar is the one who got us in. Never did he rush us, he wanted us to enjoy our time at the pool and he circled back with kindness. And that's the only reason why we committed to the spa! Sofia and Sara were our people at the Spa, and boy did they put in work! I felt so relaxed and decompressed at the end of our trip because of them!!! Tradewinds - Araceli, the one who made our last day special. I told her it was our last day, and she brought the whole staff to sing and had us wear a big sombrero! It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. It's the best experience I've ever had at an all…read moreinclusive hotel. At the end of my stay, I did not want to leave. Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

And what used to be "the world's largest telephone booth" would dominate ANY hotel in the USA. The people are overly friendly as long as you are not doing shady things. And with billboards offering services directly to your room and a hospital system where you only go if you're sick. The "grey area" is a pretty loose term. The entire hotel is illuminated with L.E.D.'s. The space is immaculate. It was 1/4 mile from the room to the lobby. The ballrooms and convention spaces are like a stadium. (Indoors or outdoors). The public bus arrives every (2) minutes and are often full. It is approximately .50 US to go 30 miles downtown. Just looking at the creative ideas a child could write a book . "This ain't Tijuana". The malls and beaches are protected by federal soldiers and the streets have checkpoints every mile. They obtain your information and destination. If something is off a militia is on alert. In NOLA people go missing all the time. They get discovered weeks later. Would never happen in Mexico . A drunk guy might get out the box, but it is very controlled. We visited there one evening and have the best time and service! This isn't the same restaurant where you go to breakfast but at night is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Everything was fantastic but all the food on the property is really great! We especially loved to order lunch by the pool. All the cocktails are fantastic, even poolside! Rooms are standard JW with some of them recently updated with the others on their way to being updated. Yes, there is a sort of a musty smell in the air, but that's in most hotels. There is an adult pool that is open during the day but wish it was open later! Lots of places in walking distance if you decide to venture out of the property but why would you need to! Easy drive from the airport and to the downtown or for departure to Isla Mujeres. We did not go to the island this time but last time we booked everything through the hotel and they made it super easy.

Check in with Diego was a breeze. Although they did not offer us an upgrade, which could have been possible through our credit card partnership, he did let us pick a room from what was available. We picked 5044. The view was good, not a full ocean view but we did have a partial ocean view. The hotel and room were very clean. The staff was very attentive and anticipated our needs. I was very please with the hotel. It exceeded my expectations. If I ever return to Cancun, I would stay here again.

We recently stayed at Kempinski Hotel Cancun for six days. We have been coming to this property for…read moreyears, back when it was The Ritz-Carlton Cancun, and it has always held sentimental value for us. That history is the main reason we kept returning. Unfortunately, for the past two years, our experiences have declined significantly. The hotel no longer maintains the level of service and standards we once loved. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in retraining staff to restore the level of service this property was once known for.

Before booking, I was assured this was a quality all-inclusive resort offering premium alcohol and an elevated experience. That could not have been further from the truth. Upon arrival, the property looked nothing like what was advertised. There was essentially one bar, and it was extremely underwhelming--no premium alcohol options at all. This alone was a huge red flag and not what was promised. Things only got worse from there. While asking about adult/VIP amenities (specifically the Altitude breakfast), a staff member followed us and told us we needed to pay $20 to make a reservation. This made no sense since we had already paid for an all-inclusive experience. It later became clear this was a manipulative tactic to lure us into a timeshare presentation. We were never properly informed--just misled and pressured. We booked an Altitude Oceanfront Corner Suite, expecting a premium oceanfront experience. Instead, the room had a clear view of the parking garage and city--this was, at best, a partial ocean view. When we complained, staff came up and continued to misrepresent the room, insisting it was oceanfront when it clearly was not. It felt dishonest and dismissive. To make matters worse, the room's air conditioning did not work. We were on a top floor with direct sun exposure, and the room was unbearably hot. Maintenance attempted to fix it, but it remained broken. At that point, after everything else we experienced, staying was not even an option. The food situation was equally disappointing. The buffet had extremely limited options--mostly just pizza and mussels. For an all-inclusive resort, this was unacceptable and far below expectations. Thankfully, Expedia was able to step in, witness part of what was happening, and relocate us to Hyatt Ziva Cancun, which was a completely different (and much better) experience. Overall, this stay felt like one continuous attempt to mislead and upsell. From false advertising to manipulative tactics and poor accommodations, nothing about this experience aligned with what was promised. I strongly recommend booking elsewhere if you want a genuine all-inclusive experience. This property is not what it claims to be.

The staff was very friendly and tried to help with our request. The room was a junior suite with an ocean view. It was comfortable and our room attendant did a great job. The king bed was two beds pushed together, but with some magic by the wife we made it more like one and were very comfortable. You can get a single king bed in some of the rooms. We were there with friends and didn't want be separated so we stayed with that configuration. I would try and get a room on the west wing. It actually looks to the east and you don't get the extreme heat in the late afternoon that the east wing does. We ate at all of the restaurants and our favs were the Black and White Steak house and Krystal. The Italian restaurant off of the lobby was good for a quick slice of pizza at lunch time. The buffet is like it is on a cruise ship and was good for most of our breakfast seatings. After a few days gets a little old. The staff was super friendly and hard workers. There is a 24 hour refreshment spot, but the food is only so so. Just for a quick sandwich or fruit. They do have a beer tap and a few selections of liquor available there for self service as well. The pool and beach area had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. If you don't see any available just ask and they will make it happen if possible. My complaint about the pool would be they close at 7:00. One small pool stay open until 8:00. Way too early for an adult only. I suggest if you want to do excursions to go straight across the street to one of the stands. If you know what you want to do they are a much better deal, but be certain you know where you want to go. make sure and get transportation included in your excursion. Also in that area there is the Bamboo Spa. You can get a massage for less than half at the resort spa. They did a very good job and were very professional. Not a "happy endings" type of place. Tell them you will do the massage if they throw in the fish foot treatment. Sounds weird but it was pretty nice. This is all inclusive for food and drink. The drinks are pretty light and when you ask for something other than the house liquor I'm pretty sure it didn't happen all the time. The best is to ask for the drink with a shot on the side, or better yet go to the bar yourself and watch them make the drink. It was definitely better and i was assured to get the name brand. Over all I would recommend this RIU.

However, what truly struck us both this time was the incredibly warm treatment we received. A hotel is only as great as its staff, and the team here is what makes it special. We booked a club-level oceanfront room, which included butler service. Our butler, Arturo, absolutely came through for us. He handled our restaurant and cabana reservations ahead of time and was instrumental in securing a late check-out on our final day. The dining at this all-inclusive is superb. For breakfast, Siete offers a decent buffet, and our waiter, Helvert, was incredibly kind and always took the time to chat with us. For dinner, DB was our top choice for elegant continental dining, complete with a live pianist. The manager, Susana, provided excellent service, the food was delicious, and the chef even came out to greet us. We also loved Hidden Gardens, a relaxed Asian-fusion spot with tasty food, impeccable service, and another welcome visit from the chef. During the sweltering day, the pool is the main draw. Lalo was always helpful in securing our requested cabana. They cost an extra $115 each time, but they are completely worth it to escape the intense sun. Our pool waitress, Marysol, befriended us and knew exactly what non-alcoholic drinks to bring us. My wife is a big coffee drinker, so we frequently stopped by the included Starbucks, where David the barista gave excellent service and loved chatting with me about World Cup soccer. Also, a big shoutout goes out to Lady and Daisy at the spa. They gave my wife and I heavenly massages. However, the absolute heart of the entire hotel is Marco, the extraordinary juicer at Siete! His positivity, jokes, and contagious smile drew a long line of people waiting for his blended drinks every morning. Thank you to everyone for making our trip so memorable!

This is not a party resort. When we were there, there was a karaoke night and a DJ in one of their lounges, but it was never crowded and the events ended early or people just left early. The 1st room we stayed in was HORRIBLE! We couldn't sleep. There was a loud rumbling sound coming from the huge air conditioning units right outside balcony. Ear plugs did not help. We talked to 3 other people also complaining about the noise from their rooms also. We were so thankful to Eileen/Aileen at the front desk for moving us. She let us view 3 rooms that were available. We went from a partial ocean view room with a king bed on the 2nd floor to a garden view (actually just the alley with trees) with 2 queen beds on the 1st floor. There was no noise whatsoever! Yaaaay! The person booking excursions could be more friendly. He seemed uninterested and looked bored. Whenever we saw him speaking to other guests, he really looked bored or tired. ONE STAR for the spa. We arrived 15 minutes early for a couples massage. My husband was led to the men's side and I was taken to the women's side. The young lady leading the way, paused at the locker room but led me directly to the quiet room. I was fully dressed and had all my belongings with me. Everyone else was in robes. Why wasn't I given a locker to store my things and a robe to change into??? I was so upset and felt so out of place. When my husband met me in the quiet room he was as confused as I was as to why I was still fully dressed. We were led to the massage room and I asked AGAIN about changing into a robe and storing my things. One of the masseuses said I didn't need to. WTF? So I undressed and piled my clothes onto an ottoman. I could not relax. The music was too loud and inappropriate. Why are you playing music with someone singing loudly? When it was over, it took me a while to calm down. We paid for shit service?! We came back and spoke to Jessica at the desk. She was also confused and concerned about the whole lock and robe ordeal. She offered a discounted spa treatment the next day but we were leaving. I wouldn't have taken it anyway. Overall, the staff was AMAZING! Please recognize them! They worked really hard to make our stay enjoyable. Get to know the staff and tip them well. Thank you to Jose at Egos who made sure our hands always had a drink in them; Carlos at Varenna for the house special cocktails; Miguel who took care of us while we relaxed on the beachside cabana. He was so attentive, personable and funny. Alejandro at the poolside bar made us laugh, Israel at Azur for the honest feedback when we had questions about the dinner menu, and Cesar at Hidden Garden who helped us figure out what was what in the darkness of the dining area. One that note, why is it so dark at Hidden Garden during the dinner service? We had to use the flashlights on our phones to read the menu and see our food. Fernando at the Siete breakfast buffet was awesome! We watched him smoothly take care of so many tables. We never felt neglected despite all the tables and people he was tending to. Lulu (Lou Lou?) is AMAZING, FUNNY and ENTERTAINING! We were lost the 1st night we arrived. He stopped what he was doing to personally escorted us to Azur in the darkness, around all the pools. We ran into him several times during our stay. He always made sure we were ok and having a good time. His energy is unmatched! Thank you to Omar, from the Concierge desk. He welcomed us when we arrived and gave us so much information about the resort. It seemed like he works everywhere. We saw him at different places in the resort. Maryam from the Concierge Desk! She was an angel. She really listened to all of our concerns. She was so friendly and funny. Even when our stay was over and we were waiting for our ride, she offered drinks and food to take with us to the airport. She definitely put a smile back on my face.

Our previous hotel left a lot to be desired, so this was a very welcome change. The room was immaculately clean, and while it was a standard room it was very nice and spacious and the marble flooring was such a nice touch. The shower was huge !!! The pool area, cabanas, and buffet stations were immaculate . Despite the rain, we had a fabulous time. One star deduction for not being prepared for my food allergies which the catering/ banquet staff was aware of for more than three weeks. Thankfully, the staffed hurried to find two items that I could eat. They covered for the below par communication and made it work for me to have a chicken breast and two slices of steak which were both cooked properly and were flavorful. Most importantly, the wedding couple was not impacted. They had a wonderful time.
