Standard salad fair for a salad bar offering. But this ownership goes way over the top to take care of their customers. I enjoyed my custom salad and had a very nice clean dining area in the building attached to the store. Parking is a struggle downtown but if you're willing to pay there is plenty.

We stopped by to grab a bite before heading back home after Railbird music festival. The staff were friendly & helpful, the menu was easy to read, & the extra space next door was a nice addition. We didn't feel the food was overpriced because of portion size and mindful ingredient inclusions.

I came in based on the great reviews. Once again, Yelp led me to a winner. Faith was the young lady that was behind the counter. She greeted me warmly as I entered. It was quiet when I came in but there was a steady stream of customers. Faith was super friendly and helpful. She answered questions and gave me great guidance. When I asked about the soup she allowed me to taste it. I had read about the lemonade and she also allowed me to taste that. I ended up ordering the 1/2 salad and soup. I got the tomato soup. It was delicious. Thick and creamy. Comfort food for sure. Because of Faith's recommendation I tried the bluegrass blackberry salad. It too was delicious. The dressing wasn't heavy but was full of flavor. The salad was nice and fresh. There were four different lemonades. There was a regular lemonade, strawberry, blueberry vanilla and peach nectar. I tried the first three and the blueberry vanilla was my favorite. It was full of flavor but not too sweet. I felt like a light drink. As someone that normally just drinks water, it was a pleasant change up. I would definitely come back when I am in the area again.

I ordered a custom salad and a side of pumpkin soup. Despite not selecting a half soup and half salad, it's automatic when you add the soup to the order. I called and asked them to rectify the situation and that I'd be happy to pay the difference. The salad was good, but I ask for pecans and roasted sweet potatoes and those were missing. Additionally, they added cucumbers and carrots even though I did not add them to the custom "make your own salad" order. They also didn't include the sautéed ginger vegetables even though I paid extra for them. They decided to give me the big (instead of small) salad and give me one less soup even though I paid extra for it. This would've been fine if the salad order was correct, but at least 5 things were wrong with the order. It was okay, but I'd never go back there.

Five stars for a meal that was packed with creative flavor combos in the heart of downtown Lexington. I would describe Vinaigrette as a fast-casual experience with heavy emphasis on soups, salads and flavored lemonade concoctions like lavender lemonade and cantaloupe mint (all made in-house). Good news is, if you're not in the downtown area, there are other locations of this local eatery. My visit kicked off with fast and friendly customer service followed by a Korean-inspired salad, white chicken chili and aforementioned lemonades. There are a handful of tables available with natural light flooding in from the front of the shop. The menu offerings change throughout the week but given the variety, I'm certain you'll find something to enjoy.

Vinaigrette is located in Lexington and when you walk in you get the vibe that it is a salad bar that the kitchen makes for you. They even prepare your order right in front of you. The service was great and everyone was very nice. Didn't have to wait, so that's a plus too! They have the calories up on the menu which is also very helpful. I would totally recommend this place if you love salads!!

The first time I went here was a week ago and now it's my new favorite lunch place. I saw my friend ordering a "Half and half" - I didn't know what that meant at that time. But it looked interesting, so I did the same.I ordered two half-salads. But it turned out what it meant was "A half salad and a soup". The people working there were nice and gave me a full salad on my first day even though I was the one who messed up the order and wasn't clear on my instructions. I have tried almost all of the soups here and "Sausage Kale Potato" soup is my favorite and it is also the most healthiest of them all. Of the salads, BLT and Taco are my personal favorites. All salads are good and no complaints there. There are ample spaces to sit and eat inside. You would have trouble finding parking though since it's in the heart of downtown These days I just order using their app and go pick it up right away without standing in line. A perfect place to eat healthy food!

Best salad in Lexington! One of the best chicken salads I've had... wish I had ordered the full size! Located in the heart of downtown Lexington and convenient public parking across the street. I'm visiting for the day but I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Great place for a salad with many great health options. Ioved this taco salad and fresh lemonade they also make the salads quick and right in front of you. The prices were reasonable and the food was good n fresh.

One of my favorite places to get salad!! I love all of the salads I have tried. The bread they have makes a great addition as well. I have no idea why it tastes so good, (maybe because they toss the salad for you?) but you definitely have to try!

Really wanted a good salad for dinner and I keep hearing about this place so I decided to give it a try. I placed an order through the app for pick-up. I was heading home for the evening so I thought it would be easy to grab it and go. When I arrived and gave my name at the counter, the young lady working gave me a puzzled look. My order was placed far enough out that it should have been ready when I got there. The young lady checks her computer once and it's blank. She goes to the back, returns and checks it again. This time I see my name come up. She says oh we accepted your order, but for some reason it was not prepared. Ok...so someone comes out to start working on my order, and I wait. Once my salad is made, the young lady bags it and comes from behind the counter to bring it to me. She did offer me an apology and drink on the house. I appreciate her offering something. It was not her fault at all. I was disappointed with the experience as a first time customer. I had the Bluegrass Blackberry salad and it was very good. The blackberry vinaigrette was wonderful! I've never had a blackberry dressing before. It's very unique and brings out the flavors of the salad. The salad came with one container of dressing, but I really wished I had more once I started eating. The lettuce soaked it right up and my salad was pretty dry about halfway through. Overall it was a good salad, but nothing spectacular. Very similar to another clean eating restaurant known for their salads.

Most of the seating is indoor inside of the Micher's Greenhouse there, so even if the weather hadn't of been nice it would have been a great time. There was great live music as well. We decided to get a bavarian pretzel to split, as well as her getting their raspberry crepe while I decided on their lemon curd crepe. Everything we had to eat was fantastic. Everything else I saw on the menu sounded delicious. Service was also quick and fantastic. The kitchen was pumping out food quick and the wait staff had it out to us as soon as possible. I'll always recommend this as a nice date spot for others.

Weird experience. The food is fine, healthy-ish, but nothing to write home about. My husband's…read morenoodle salad was my favorite, followed by my cauliflower salad. I thought the beet & giant bean salad was meh, the pieces are cut huge so you really get about 4 beans and 6 pieces of beet. The grilled cheese is actually half a grilled cheese, which didn't have much cheese on it, and tasted faintly of horseradish. I couldn't finish mine. The hummus was good, you just don't get very much. Focaccia was alright, would have been better warmed. We ordered a Bavarian pretzel plate, which also came out room temp. I think that's a first for me at a restaurant. The focaccia, ok, it's for dipping and that's easier when it isn't so soft. But the pretzel? Like did it just get pulled out of a bag and tossed on the plate? I can't speak to the cheese because I tried it with mustard. There was so much horseradish in the mustard it almost blew my head off. I'm sure some people love that but I'm not one of them. Speaking of blowing up, a woman on a laptop had a kid that was goofing off around her table. He laid down on the bench and started sweeping rocks at some old lady. The old lady turns around to tell him to stop and the mom lost it on her. Like screeching. Idk, I get it to a certain extent but if you're trusting the world to watch your kid while you work, don't be surprised when the world asks your kid to not throw rocks at them. Then when I bussed my table (which I thought was what we are supposed to do here), there's a single bus tub to the right of the ordering window. To get there, I cut across the line sideways and not one but several people are giving side-eye because they had to *gasp* make way for someone to take their plates up. That's also where the bathroom is, so good luck if you sit to the left of the line, because apparently the other patrons expect you to walk through a maze of tables behind the line to get to the far side of the cafe. Summary: the food is fine, but not worth the rest of the experience. It's surprisingly unorganized and while it is beautiful, you can get better health food at the co-op or Whole Foods. The clientele on a Thursday morning was so uppity I would never come back.

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.
