Emily is a WONDERFUL practitioner!…read more A few years ago, her practice was recommended to me after coming down with Long COVID. While I didn't know much about acupuncture, Emily was kind enough to go very slowly and answer ALL my questions along the way. Since I've been with her, she's been able to ease my Long COVID symptoms (along with other treatments), decrease my endometriosis symptoms, and improve my circulation, which helped my POTS issues. Today, I'm doing much better thanks to her help. Also, in these last six months, she's added acupuncture for anti-aging. I've started acupuncture for the face, and it's already showing results: more vibrance and decreased forehead lines. I'm happy with the results so far, and I'm curious how the next year will go using these natural methods. I recommend entirely Emily for her acupuncture care.

She has not only completed her training at Five Branches (the best!) but she also has TCM ophthalmology training and has helped one of our family members heal from a torn retina (even confirmed with tests from the eye doctor.) Our entire family sees Emily and I have such a deep trust in her and her healing philosophy. TCM takes time and healing is a process. If you are looking to truly heal from the root issue, Emily is your doctor. We are so grateful she cares for our entire family.

The acupunture I received ended up being very different then I anticipated, the session left me feeling incredibly relaxed, I even took a couple cat naps while my Chi moved. It felt like a warm blanket of healing energy wrapped around me and moved throughout my body. I floated out of her office and went about the rest of my day calm and more relaxed then ever. If you want to feel grounded I would highly recommend seeing Mia.

Otherwise, she's on to the next patient - 4/hour it seems. If you ring the doorbell she gives you while you're on the table, her assistant comes. You have to ask about diet suggestions and herbs. Sometimes, we have asked about them, and then the herbs aren't ready when I come out. She doesn't offer me cupping anymore, even though in the past that's been really helpful at other places. I'm thinking about not going back. I feel like she's not sure what to do with my health problems. I'm not getting better. I feel relaxed when I leave her office and always have a nice little nap on the table, but overall, my symptoms aren't improving. Other acupuncturists I went to would get me in and help me out if I had a migraine, but she doesn't offer this. It takes awhile to get ahold of her if call in. Mostly, you have to book when you are there.

She genuinely cares for him and is patient, loving, and attentive. We always feel that he is in great hands. She prepares nutritious postpartum meals tailored to my preferences and has been a tremendous help to our family. She is caring, patient, and dependable. Overall we are happy with the service and care we received. We would rate it more like 4 to 4.5…read morestars and would use Auntie Yang and the service again. The reason for less than 5 stars is related to communication, some misunderstandings early on, expectations that were not fully communicated, and time needed for both the nanny and us to compromise and adjust to each others schedule. The misunderstandings could be related to us needing to find someone quickly as we were having a very rough postpartum experience and not everything was communicated along with a language barrier. Lisa also happened to be on vacation in Asia at the time so the time zone difference was a challenge. Lisa did make an effort to get back to us quickly and communicate our needs to Auntie Yang. If you hire a Postpartum nanny, please understand there will be an adjustment period the first few days and a difference with how you want your baby cared for vs what the nanny has been doing for years. This is more related to cultural differences and practices. In the end Auntie Yang helped get us through a difficult time, truly loved and cared for our baby and in many way become a part of our family.
