The roofing contractor paid close attention to the weather and installed a section of the roof immediatedly after removing the old roof. The workers were efficient and exceptional craftsmen. The roofing job consisted of my house, detached garage, pump house, and well house. The project included replacement of a metal facia on each roof. The worker attention to detail was exceptional, especially when viewing the roofs from ground level. The workers used all sorts of tools to cut and bent the roofing material to close the open ends of the standing seams for a smooth finished look. The roofing company owner did everything possible to answer our questions and resolved all issues that arose during the project. Job well done!

Here's my list of all their mess ups from my one and only order from this company. 1.Ripped me off in how much metal I ordered and paid for, shorted me about 100 running feet and shorted me 2 of the ridge caps I ordered. 2.Sent me the wrong valley metal color (and tried to blame it on me when it clearly was on the paper and didn't was a no brainer that the valleys needed to be the same color as the roof) 3.Sent me the wrong size drip edge. Sent me 4-1/2" when I needed 7-1/2" (When again this was on the paper) 4. Blatantly lied to my face trying to make this all my fault. (Even tried to lie about whom I brought in with me, they said I came in to order the metal by myself when I brought the homeowner with me to order.) 5. THEY DIDNT EVEN ATTEMPT TO FIX ANY OF THEIR PROBLEMS. MADE ME PAY FOR ALL OF THEIR MISTAKES. DIDNT REIMBRUCE ME OR GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE!!!!

My wife posted (I'm not sure where, maybe Facebook?) and 2 companies responded pretty quickly. The first company came out and looked at it and suggested a course of action, then Jeff from Houser came out and suggested a different course (more thorough and more expensive). He walked me through his thinking and what he recommended made more sense. He was professional and courteous (and didn't mind questions). On Tuesday, his crew came out and performed what was a reasonably extensive repair quickly and expertly. It turns out the repair the first company recommended would not have actually solved the problem (turns out there were leaks originating from multiple locations). We've had several big rains since, and the problem is, indeed solved. Kudos to Jeff and crew - job well done!

I had to remind them to install the guard I paid for, but fine. The gutters match exactly the color of my exterior walls, and Houser Roofing provided good advice. So far, so good. The vent installation went fine, except they had to come back to install the duct correctly (the first installation was a bit of a fire hazard). But fine, they were graceful about it. The big disaster has been fixing a roof leak. The salesman came up with wild theories about the source. all wrong. It cost me thousands of dollars, with zero results. They came several times, and the last time, they said it was a plumbing issue. A plumber came and disagreed. So this leak has cost me a small fortune over 3-4 years. Finally, I called a local roof company. They found the source of the leak in 5 minutes. I don't want to be too harsh here. Roofing is not an exact science. I talked to the owner, and I don't feel he was there to scam me. It's more incompetence than malfaisance. I seem to be the only one with this experience.

Before they will even consider your job, you have to pay $300. This is to get them to go look at…read morethe site and provide a bid. I paid that and it took me a few months to get the money together to get the work done. I understand that after a certain amount of time, the circumstances might have changed, but refusing to go back out and verify that without another payment is absurd. Once I told them that I was ready to go, I had to wait another month before they finally told me that it would cost me another $100 to get them out there to verify the original bid, and they had no documentation of the bid other than some scribbled notes from the first visit. Go elsewhere. These folks aren't worth your time or money.
