I was advised it would be resolved. It wouldnt be noticeable. All that was done was liquid squirted into the nick, and it still looks like a damaged windshield. I have been a customer of Heinrich for over twenty-five years and have purchased many vehicles. I have referred many customers. I have given them many glowing reviews. They feel as long as the nick isnt on the driver's side it isnt an issue. I feel if I spend over 25K on a vehicle, I should get a vehicle without a damaged windshield. It's a small spot but the way management handled shows no loyalty to long term customers. I will continue to use their service department but this will the last vehicle I will purchase from them. Buyer beware. It's a sad truth.

We were forced to pay the $150 return shipping costs on an oversized shipment since their claim was opened as 'Not As Described'. It has been a couple weeks and we still have not received a single response from them regarding this, so we are left with no other choice here.

So..... 2nd time something went missing from my car during a service call. Also, have issue with…read morethings not put back as they were. Took my car in for oil change, regular maintenance, etc. Tech had to replace the SD card and something that was behind the glove compartment. In the pocket where the SD card is I have/had a couple pens, a little notebook, couple papers, small lotion and lip gloss. In the arm rest I had my phone charger. Attached and kinda glued to the inside of the glove compartment was my trash bag. Tech removed the charger and it ended up on the passenger floor. The trash bag was torn/removed from the glove compartment and left like that. He removed everything from the SD card spot and put everything back except the lip gloss, which is nowhere to be found. So this is the 2nd time an item went missing from my car during a service call. A big gripe: why don't they put things back the way they were after pulling things apart? It's not hard to put the charger back where it was, put the trash bag back on the glove compartment door like it was, and put everything back in the SD card spot. Why do they pull things apart and just leave them like that? Again, it's not the missing lip gloss (which was new and I paid $6 for) which is the main reason for this post - it's the principle. Once more, an item is missing from my car. Thought I would be a customer for life, and indicated that to them, as they treated me great when I bought the vehicle in 2024. Apparently the techs, though, are different. Last year an item got stolen - yes, stolen. It wasn't "misplaced" or "it just disappeared" as they indicated. "Misplaced" means it's somewhere" to be found. And nothing just "disappears" without it being taken. And this year another item isn't able to be found. I'm sure the tech had no use for lip gloss and I'm not saying he took it, but where did it go? Searched the car - every crack and crevice - and it's not there. $6 is a ridiculous price to pay for lip gloss anyway, but such is the economy today, so having to spend another $6 to replace it is just aggravating. Plus, whatever was done to fix that SD card issue wasn't fixed. So now I have to take it back again to hopefully get it fixed. Don't they test this stuff to make sure it's actually fixed???

On my Friday snow day (don't hate), I finally spotted a few Niros for sale that were not top-level models, so I decided to stop in to Northtown Kia to snoop. Turns out the green one I was coveting was already scooped up, so after a chat, Mike Maniscalco made sure to toss me right into the prettiest damn 2023 Niro EX Touring you have ever seen, so OF COURSE I was in love. (With the Niro. I'm married, weirdo.) I mean really, how can you say no to color changeable ambient dashboard lighting?!? (Kidding, of course. That was just an happy surprise when Mike walked me through the features before he sent me off into a snowstorm.) We were on the phone with him to help guide him through everything. He was repeatedly apologetic because he knew he was asking a lot of questions, and the sales representatives were patient and respectful with him. However, toward the end of the transaction--right before finalizing--the finance manager, Jim Kelley, made a highly inappropriate comment. As he was leaving the office, he said, "these fucking people," referring to my father-in-law and possibly to us on the phone with him. This comment was completely disrespectful, felt racially charged, and came entirely out of left field. After hearing this, we no longer felt comfortable giving this dealership our business. My husband asked my father-in-law to request his keys, ID, and registration back and leave. If you choose to go here, be aware of this extremely disrespectful behavior from the finance manager.

Every visit has been frustrating, and the service experience has been consistently disappointing. Because I work full-time in Compliance, dealing with an unreliable brand-new vehicle has been incredibly stressful. My father had to step in and work directly with both Mazda Corporate and the dealership just to attempt to resolve the issue and secure me a loaner vehicle--something the dealership never proactively offered. With the exception of one employee, the service department has made me feel invisible. Most interactions consisted of simply handing me my keys with little to no explanation of what was done or whether the issue had actually been resolved. Today's pickup was the final straw. I received a text at 11:15 a.m. that my vehicle was ready, but when I arrived after work, I waited nearly an hour without anyone acknowledging me or providing an update. After having my vehicle for almost three weeks, it was returned dirty. When I politely asked if it could be washed, I was met with an attitude. To make matters worse, the service advisor left my vehicle running in the middle of the driveway and simply walked away. I have never experienced customer service this poor, especially from a dealership. Between the lack of professionalism, respect, and communication, I cannot recommend Northtown Mazda's service department to anyone.
