This negative review has nothing to do with service representatives. My issue is with management. When I purchased my Trailblazer, there was a nick in the windshield. I was advised it would be resolved. It wouldnt be noticeable. All that was done was liquid squirted into the nick, and it still looks like a damaged windshield. I have been a customer of Heinrich for over twenty-five years and have purchased many vehicles. I have referred many customers. I have given them many glowing reviews. They feel as long as the nick isnt on the driver's side it isnt an issue. I feel if I spend over 25K on a vehicle, I should get a vehicle without a damaged windshield. It's a small spot but the way management handled shows no loyalty to long term customers. I will continue to use their service department but this will the last vehicle I will purchase from them. I came for an inspection with nothing wrong. They had car for over an hour and then told me i need $300 to fix a light thats broken. Then i can get it inspected. Told them no ill go somewhere else. Took another 30 min to bring my truck back. Went somewhere else and got inspection no problem in less than 30 minutes. Scumbags work here. Do not recommend. Well organized, efficient and credible maintenance service. Very good set-up for getting cars set up for appointments, and they get the job done on time and with good quality. What most impressed me was the time I brought my Traverse in to get looked at for a warranty claim - no service, just a look-see. During the visit a technician topped off my windshield washer fluid and checked my oil. Oil was a quart low, so I asked to buy a quart of oil. Instead they put in a quart of oil gratis. read more

I received an email from Heinrich Chevrolet stating they were offering a complimentary NYS inspection and it couldn't have come at a better time! Since I knew it would take about an hour, I planned to go for a run while they did the inspection. Randy was awesome, he gave me directions to a route with less traffic and even drew me a map! If I could give negative stars about this corporation I would ! Starting way at oil change they never performed that I brought my car in for. To the most recent service appointment. They had my car from 8 am till 5pm when I finally called, saying hello? When they finally decided to "look" at my vehicle, then guess on what they thought the problem was and need $600 $800 more to confirm ( turns out it wasn't at all the problem) If they had actually serviced my vehicle at all they would've noticed the j boots were put on incorrectly after a previous service, and just need to be placed on correctly. They would not refund any of my money, or even accept they messed up. The manager Chris has no clue what he's talking about and doesn't let you speak edge wise. Traded in two vehicles. Upgraded a Silverado from a two wheel drive to a four wheel drive with the 'extras' package for an additional $775. Traded in a Traverse for an equinox (lease). We ended up lowering our combined car payments over $200 per month. We also received money back from Heinrich. I cannot believe we have two new vehicles, lowered our payment tremendously, and received 'CASH' in our pocket. UNREAL!!!! VIN - 2C4RDGBG1JR251499 stock 5598P- I had a pending sale delivery on THIS on 12.22.18. I put $5000 down and would pick it up on 12.27.18 per the finance manager, owner, and owner's son(I won't mention names easy to deduce). This is 2018 Dodge Caravan with 5400 miles, essentially brand new. The owner's son called me on 12.26.18 at around 7-7.30pm letting me know that the power windows functions on the new vehicle wasn't working. He also let me know that the THIS would be covered under Dodge's warranty. I thought it was a bit funny bc when I test drove the vehicle I noticed the master power lock function also wasn't working well and also asked them to verify and check this function as well. It may have locked with FOB, BUT not manually. I mentioned to the owner's son(sales rep) in "What setting or world do we sell vehicle as NEW or almost NEW(pre-owned) with 5400 miles and a 2018 model. I give you $25,000.00 and you give me a broken vehicle promising that Dodge would repair. Dodge could not promise that until they saw the vehicle(I called Dodge Transit town they just laughed). I have never heard of this and quickly realized that the van was brought into the lot as a nice pre-owned vehicle and intake used car lot clearly missed that it had functional issues wrong and failed. SO, instead of shouldering the cost to repair in good faith, they tell the customer to fix the vehicle under warranty AFTER I take possession, register it and of course buy it. I wish I could make this up. Everyone, I have shared it with think this is odd, EXCEPT the dealer himself(the owner, sales, and finance manager). I know this bc they told BBB review that "Dodge covers this stuff under warranty(meaning Heinrich doesn't want to) and of course bc I asked for a vehicle discount OR gas gift card, that the dealer did not decide to finish the pending sale. They back out of sorts". ACTUALLY, my e-mail to the owner, went simply like this. 1.) Guarantee that if Dodge doesn't fix this thing on Day 2, that Heinrich WILL(WRITTEN guarantee). 2.) Give me a loaner at your cost. 3.) discount OR large gas card as a gift and for huge inconvenience, 4.) and the vehicle is given a FULL once over and certified of sorts with written inspection list in light of what I was told about doors and windows. Of course, owner denied all of this citing too HIGH a cost and too much to comply with. I'm equally assuming that he never thought a lowly car buyer like me would write an e-mail asking for the impossible in light of fixing a new vehicle on DAY 2 after delivery. A NICE gift for my wife. I'm not a big review guy BUT I had to file a formal complaint with the BBB as well as Google. I told Heinrich I'll continue to share in light of the shock of the experience and lack of client centered service. I'll inform the DMV as well in case they want to take a look at what they are selling. WHY? Too easy, the van was back on the lot, still broken, and of course no advertising that it is NON functioning broken windows and manual door locks too. WHY? Too easy, bc you don't sell cars like that. A little odd? Good luck with whoever buys this vehicle. My hope is anyone researching the VIN will pull up this review and read it prior to buying it. It's ALL about the money NOT the client. Bryon explained so many details on our test drive and made sure Kayley was familiar with the little details before she left - how to sync her iphone through the car, and all the other things she can do through her iphone. Jim Q was great handling the rest of the process through delivery of the vehicle, working with me to help out with some lease trade-in issues I had. It saddens me that I feel I have to right this about a company. I put a $1000 deposit on the truck in mid November to hold it until the first week of December, the deal was done and I had purchased some accessories that were needed to be installed. On the day of the purchase I had talked to the salesman and was told the accessories would be installed by the time I was to pickup that night, he asked what time I would be coming in and I explained between 6-7 and he said that would not be a problem. When I arrived to pickup the truck the options were not installed and was told I would have to come back to have that done. During the walk through of the dealership with the salesman he took me back to the service department and the lone service advisor that was working was busy talking to one of his buddies so we all stood there waiting for him to stop chatting, the salesman introduced us and asked to set our first service appointment. The service advisor did not care a bit about that we were new customers and never said a word except took our info. I should have known at this point service was going to be an issue. I went back on the scheduled day to have the accessories installed and I pulled into service and walked up to the advisors desk that I was parked by and the advisor ignored that we were standing there and continued to play with his paperwork and then finally looked at us and said "what do you need", I explained that I had an appointment to get the accessories installed, I also asked him if the sold Weather Tech floor mats and he said don't know ask parts. I went to parts and walked in and the mats were on display so me and my wife stood waiting at the counter while the 3 guys working played grab ass and did not acknowledge we were there, finally one said what do you need again like I was bothering them. I asked about the mats and he told me that they could order them and they would be in in two days so I ordered them, I also asked if they could order a hood deflector since when I asked the salesman he said they don't make one for the 2014 which I knew was incorrect, anyways the parts guy said yes they have it in stock so I asked to have that installed while it was there. We asked how long it would take and the advisor said 1-1/2-2 hours so we took the shuttle to go have lunch and shop. We came back in just over 3 hours and still not done so we waited another 30 minutes. I had an issue with the right front parking sensor going off for no reason plus I had noticed a hard cranking situation so I went online to Heinrich and made an appoint with a different advisor this thinking maybe I would be treated better but guess what nothing different in fact I pulled in and the older gentleman that puts the plastic on the seats was wonderful, I stood by the advisors desk that I parked at waiting to ask for the advisor I made the appointment to see and when the advisor just continued to ignore me I asked the older guy which advisor was Paul at that time the advisor I had been standing at turned his head and said "that's me what do you need?" I assume they don't keep track of appointments either. I explained I had an appointment and then started telling him about the issue and he asked is it doing it right now and I said no but that it had done it the entire week before and he said well it had ice or snow on it and I said sir I have had this system on my other trucks and I know that snow and ice can cause this but the sensor was dry so something was wrong he also said I cant do anything about the hard cranking and that I would have to leave it over night and I said that was going to be hard to do because of my wife's schedule so I asked if the shuttle could take me home and he said yes. I received an email from GM asking me to rate the dealership and I completed the info as I have said here, a couple weeks later I received a call from GM customer service asking me about the situation and the person said they wanted to get the area customer service person involved so I said ok and the transferred me to the area customer service person. He asked that I give the dealership another try. right before I got the call from GM I received a call from Kristen the customer service person for the dealership asking me to please give them another shot and asked is she could call me back because she wanted to talk to the manager about "what they could do for me", I agreed. The next day she called me and said they were going to give me a car. When I went to the appointment I arrived and was greeted by Kristen who is great. They kept the truck for three days and never started work on it until the third day. I am almost out of room here so the bottom line is the service/parts dept. has a culture of bad customer service and until that changes I think they have issues that will only get worse. read more

My purchasing experience at Heinrich: Cons, 0 Stars: Ed from finance - Avoid, if possible. Very unprofessional. Condescending. Gave me incorrect information that ruined my whole purchase experience. I was excited with the whole process until I met him. He told me that the 8yr/100,000 mile Voltec warranty doesn't cover the Expensive battery pack (I have 5yrs & 60k left) and that the battery pack is under the powertrain warranty for 5yr/100k, (2yrs left for me). He also mentioned things suggesting my vehicle isn't going to last much longer. I'm assuming these things were said in order to purchase a similar warranty the car already has, not for my best interest. Imagine hearing this right as you are signing the documents for the new car you've done weeks of research reading through almost every existing topic on the manufacture forums. I was pretty upset until I got home and re-read the actual warranty and other facts of the car. He acted like we were wasting his time during our entire interaction. Sorry for giving you job security Ed. Pros, 5 Stars: Justin & Brett: Both were wonderful to work with. I was very excited to get my used certified Volt at one of the few dealerships that have Volt technicians in the area. Justin was helpful with finding test driving spots and gave off a sincere vibe, which is unusual for a car salesman. He also helped me get to my ideal payment plan and made the sale process go smooth. Extremely professional and patient. Brett stayed after hours to help with all the final paperwork needed for our purchase. There was only a half hour left of business hours by the time we were able to reach and he was extremely patient and professional. read more

Everyone is friendly, respectful and incredibly knowledgeable. They are also incredibly patient! I test drove three different cars before deciding on the Cruze. Throughout the entire experience I was assured that it was their job to find me the perfect car - and they certainly did! The management team and the finance department are also fantastic. Not to make any enemies, but, my attempt late yesterday afternoon to determine the exact cost of a vehicle on a car lot (that I thought I might be interested in) wasn't, in my opinion, enjoyable. The salesman was very nice and we were invited to take in for a solo test drive which was helpful and enjoyable. So much so that I felt going into the dealership was warranted to determine the exact cost, again to determine affordability ONLY. The salesman left his cubicle and returned shortly with a sheet marked up with a green flair where the manager applied a 4% sales discount, or approximately $ 2,000.00 off the sticker plus it included calculations for financing for 60 months at 5.9% annual rate of interest. We all know that the dealership is incentivized to have a buyer finance their purchase but in this case they knew up front that this would be a cash deal. So that just made their offer more complex as the green flair had numbers allover this sheet of paper. As we were ready to leave the salesman asked where they needed to be in order to get a deal done that night yet I told him from the outset that I merely wanted to know the price of the vehicle after the traditional discounts were applied. At that time I asked him why any further discussion should take place as they quoted me their price, but the man took off to go see the manager to see if he could do better, this is where the trouble started....upon his return. Apparently the dealership has what they call "magic tickets" (that is my recollection of the name of this item). This newly presented item appeared to reduce the cost of the car by another $ 2,000.00....so the total dollar discount after they produced the magic ticket as $ 4k. Miffed I told my salesman that I was disappointed that they did not have my best interest at heart as the dealership's best price should have been presented to me as the first price presented. I told the salesman up front that any "back and forth to the manager" was a waste of his valuable time and my valuable time. Then to present the magic ticket approach was unreal. So during this period, unknown by me, as my back was to the desk next to our cubicle, one of the more senior sales people was listening to every word of our discussion and jumped in to make it a two on one approach. Again, I told them (from the beginning) that I was more than a tire kicker but merely wanted to know what the cost of the vehicle was so that I could determine affordability. So I don't know that I would call it a circus but possibly a calamity. I realize they are in the business of selling cars and that is their goal. I told them I would think about their offers and explanations and get back to them. In an effort to exit the showroom professionally I was, again, stopped by the senior salesman who had listened in to my conversation with our salesman. He proceeded to turn his flat screen computer screen around to show me how they only made a few hundred dollars on the deal. The sale of a $ 48,500.00 vehicle only earns them a few hundred dollars? He never mentioned dealer holdback where the dealership receives additional compensation where it can be shown to you in some situations that they are selling you the vehicle for "cost" or less than cost, but fail to disclose to you the real profitability when the Holdback is factored in and the monies they receive from F & I, the practice of financing the cars sold. They are generally compensated for that as well. So I asked to be let go so that I could go home and digest the financing calculation on the traveler sheet even though I was paying cash. Surprisingly they applied a 5.9% rate of interest when many of the other dealerships seem to be applying rates less than that. But it was worth thinking about. I also wanted to absorb the fact that it took more than 1 trip to present the real offered price to me. I don't know about others but where I purchase my other vehicles there is none of this back and forth resulting in a "magic ticket" that only I get. There was only one magic ticket left and I was the lucky winner! I feel sorry for the person who bought the exact same car earlier in the day as the salesman said they did not get a LUCKY TICKET! The other items that left tremendously bad taste in my mouth is I disclosed up front that I am not a fan of decals being applied to vehicles, this car was ordered with a decal kit (yet to be applied) and the salesman said that they are obligated to install them and that the vehicle I expressed an interest in was absolutely without fail having the decals installed by a GM specialist the next day, WITHOUT FAIL!....unless I bought the vehicle right then and there. That the car with a fairly nice finish would be tarnished (my opinion) with those decals. Nice sale tactic. I had to go to UPS today at 4:50 PM and swung by the dealership to see how the vehicle looked with these decals low and behold..no decals. A very unappetizing experience.
