This is separate from the horse stables, but you can still see the horses when they are out in the pasture. It's kinda a one and done thing, but kids will love it, and it's an idyllic setting to be outside in nature.

I heard later in the afternoon they have live music and a lot more of a vibe, but honestly it was perfect for my friends and me. They have fishing, a park for kids, games, animals, food, picnic tables, and lots of open space to run around. Very family-oriented and such a nice outdoor experience. We really don't have many places like this in Miami, so I genuinely enjoyed myself. I didn't try the lemonade this time, but I did get an iced coffee and it was delicious. Next time I'm trying the lemonade, it comes in these mini buckets and looked super refreshing with a bunch of flavor options. If I'm not mistaken, parking was free (maybe because it was Sunday), and if you plan to fish, you do need to get a wristband and pay. Don't try to sneak around it because they will come find you pay your dues ;)

We arrived…read moreabout 5 mins before they opened and waited over in an apartment parking lot until they opened their entrance. They opened right on time and we went in to park. Shockingly there was only one other car there on a Saturday in December, which we were very happy about. We anticipated a big crowd. We parked and walked up to the front, they have a lot of signage all around that I think is more so for their busy times. I can imagine it gets hectic and this is how they keep folks organized and sane lol. Once you walk in there's decorations everywhere and so many photo opps. I kept saying to my boyfriend how cute it has to be at night with all the lights. They have all kinds of different size trees with different "bushyness". Each tree is tagged and labeled, they tell you once you find your dream tree simply remove the bottom half of the tag and bring it to a staff member. They then take your tree, give it a fresh cut and wrap it for travel. Then you jump in your car, follow a fun trivia trail right to where you pick it up. Again, this is more for busy days but it was fun lol. Then they load the tree into the car for you. We had a pick up truck so there was no need to tie it down but the car before them needed their tree tied down and the staff member helped him do that. Really great service!!! We purchased a gorgeous 8ft tree, the tree holder and a green tray to go under it all to catch water and pines. The pricing was very affordable, which also surprised me. I also loved that they have a prayer chapel where you can write a prayer and hang it on a tree. Very touching! The best part is your purchase helps to fund 30 different local charities and some goes to help Western NC too!!! This place was really special and such a fun time! My inner child was overjoyed and so fulfilled! I always have a fake tree at Christmas and this year something told me to go for the real thing. I'm so happy we chose Snowflake Village!! We had the best experience ever and will go back to them again and again. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the market for a real Christmas tree this year or in the future. This is a labor of love-not profit hungry. You feel their genuine goal of making the experience special for everyone. They were both very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Aw Shucks was one of the many barns they looked at but ended up being the winner and was highly talked about to us before we even arrived to the premises. The hype was real! The barn was absolutely gorgeous inside and out, (with full working A/C I might add!). The entire grounds is HUGE, there is a well constructed fire pit to sit around, and the area in the back where the marriage ceremony took place was properly shaded and well decorated. You can explore by walking around and there are little shops you can get adorable gifts from, try some yummy ice cream, or take instagram worthy pictures. The workers we encountered throughout our busy filled night were all extremely friendly and helpful. The outdoor bathrooms are the perfect setup and are actually the most fancy mobile bathrooms Ive ever seen lol. Thank you for making a friends wedding more than memorable.
