This company was referred to us by a friend, the appointment to show us material was smooth, the order was on time. When I called to schedule the installation nobody called me back. I called at least 3 or 4 times until someone picked up the phone. The install was scheduled and though the installer was about an hour late(with no phone call) I had to call to see if he was still coming. He showed up very nice person and as he was installing he told me that they sent the wrong bracket for out biggest blind for our sliding glass door leading to the patio. He said he would have them overnight it. Both myself and my wife called two days later and of course nobody picked up,the phone we both left messages and no one has called back yet. It's funny because their voicemail message states that customer service is their number one priority. As it stands now we have no blind in our door and have not received a phone call. We have a house full of people coming for thanksgiving it would be nice to have that window covered but I'm assuming this well not be the case. read more

I even called their office and left a message, and still didn't get any response. I almost forgot about this until I saw their truck driving around town. Bought a house in Rancho Cucamonga, needed shutters to cover our 5 windows for privacy, so we called a few places. Some of them had really high prices or no available appointments at all in December. We closed on our new home in San Marcos in late August, and were a little late to the game in terms of installing window treatments. We did extensive 3rd party research on local companies for blinds, including Home Depot and Lowe's, and were able to narrow it down to Vineyard and another independent business. From our first consultation (free, by the way) with Randy, we had a gut feeling that this was going to be an excellent experience. Our 20 windows were quickly measured, and any and all questions we had about product - a large selection of samples were brought along to the consultation, which was fantastic - and the process were answered completely and professionally. Pricing was by far the best we had researched, coming in well below even the most competitive quotes, and for the quality of the product (which is exceptional), it was definitely the most bang for our buck. We were informed that the product was available within a few days, and installation was scheduled for a little over a week from the consultation; amazing, considering that most experiences we had heard about included weeks and weeks of waiting for delivery, let alone installation! We had our blinds installed today (also free), and the experience could not have been smoother. The installers were friendly, courteous, efficient, and thorough. I am really disappointed because I had such high hopes after the personal recommendation and reading all of the reviews on Yelp. I am giving a couple stars because of the very pleasant lady who does the scheduling but the gentleman who came out to see us is another story. First he called flustered because he had the appointment written down wrong which was fine it's just when he got here things really broke down for us. We said we had two areas we wanted to look at but he never got to the second area. When we realized bifold shutters wouldn't work for the slider we asked for other options and we weren't given much of a selection. Then he got a phone call from what sounded like an installer they exchanged some heated "words". after quickly getting off the phone he gave us a quote for one option and high-tailed it out of our house as if going to a fire and he left without seeing the other room. I felt like we were rushed through the whole appointment and then he blew us off. My husband and I took off time for this. Great service! Three years after installation, I called because a few of the blinds weren't working properly. They came out, no questions asked, tried to fix onsite and what couldn't be fixed, they took with them. They were back 5 business days later and reinstalled the blinds that we're having issues. No service call charges, no making me feel like it was my fault. The guys that came out were friendly, and even took their shoes off. No complaints here! Wow! This was a great experience! I ordered Plantation Shutters for my entire upstairs and am extremely pleased. First I got 3 estimates and they were as different as can be. The first were basically vinyl from a place advertising in the newspaper. Second was 3 day blinds that I have used in the past and last Vineyard. The only blinds I considered were 3 day and Vineyard the others were too cheap of quality. The price was very high with 3 day Blind. Vineyard for what seemed a similar product were a much less expensive. Randy came out for the estimate and was more than happy to give us all the information we would need up front including a BBB printout of their good standing. The price was so fair that we added a window we originally planned to exclude. What an amazing job from the installer that came out and cleaned as he went to the phone calls and follow up. The details like bringing a louver to my house prior to installation so I could match the windowsill paint to just returning calls made it nice to work with the company. I went with a 3 1/2 inch louver and the whole upstairs looks sharp! The time from order to install was about 8 weeks and estimated time was 6-7. I did however say that I wasn't in a hurry and price was more important than how soon I could get them. My daughter bought hers at Lowes and says I got a way better deal on the price. I haven't really had a chance to say how they will last but they seem like a nice quality. I would recommend them. They had no problem with coming to Corona for the estimate and work. read more

We bought a house with shutters installed on the front windows only. We decide to put shutters on the rest of our windows after our neighbors had theirs done and they looked great. Our neighbor received several quotes and ended up using a company that was 60 miles away from our home. We had Vineyard come out and their quote was far less than what our neighbors paid and our house is bigger! We were expecting to pay double what our quote was! YES this is a company that really lives up to its promise. I moved from San Diego's North Park to Rancho Penasquitos in Feb 2011. When I had them do the blinds they promised a lifetime warrenty. They came out twice to fix minor problems VERY QUICKLY. And the last time the guy came out to fix one blind (very minor fix) he noticed one sagging and checked it out. He decided to take it off, put on a temporary paper blind and take it back to the shop to restring it for me. I didn't ask him. This is the kind of customer service that is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to find anymore -- a company that lives up to its promises, isn't looking for loopholes and has people working for it who really want to help the customers and take great pride in their work. We had the best experience with Vineyard. The owner showed up for our appointment to take the measurements, gave us suggestions, didn't try to push expensive product on us at all, which I loved. We decided to go with shutters for all of our downstairs windows and 3inch blinds for upstairs! Vineyard has very competitive prices! They beat the pricing of Home Depot and several other smaller companies! Blinds were ordered on Tuesday and they were installed by Saturday! All the blinds were up within roughly 30 minutes! Super quick! The installer was very respectful of our new home and new carpet. He also put up temporary blinds for our downstairs windows while the shutters were ordered. Our shutters were ready for install in 6 weeks! Installer was not only on time, but early! The shutters were installed on 6 windows in about 45 minutes! These boys are quick!!! A few days later they came out with a crew of three and expertly installed 28 windows worth of blinds in about an hour! The blinds were better than what we planned to DIY at Home Depot, and were a good bit cheaper too. Not to mention I didn't have to spend all day installing them. I got a quote from Randy. Everything went well during his visit. I got the quote and told him I would be in touch pending other estimates. I gave him a call about a week or two after he quoted me. He told me to text him a copy of the estimate from the other legitimate company which I did. The quote was about $600 LESS than his price. He never replied or had the courtesy to respond. It was upsetting because on their advertisements they claim to match or beat similar estimates. Well folks, they apparently do not. I OPTED to go with JMR blinds. I contacted this company when we moved into our new home because of all the great Yelp reviews. Peter was our salesman and I felt the pricing was very fair. We had our blinds installed in a week! We did come across an issue with one of our windows being too large and we felt that the blind was too big and therefore too heavy. They replaced that blind for a small fee for a 3 piece blind for this window. It's perfect and we are VERY pleased with all our blinds now.
