We have had the privilege of having my parents as residents at Vineyard Park Bothell. We've been so grateful to have them there. From the very beginning, they were made to feel at home, made many friends, and found a community that was interested in their well being. During the process of my father passing away, he was continually cared for with kindness, dignity and a level of care we could have never expected! The Executive Director, Michelle, and the Head of Nursing, Clarence, both showed up in the middle of the night as things were progressing quickly. They were solely there to provide comfort, support and friendship as we walked the painful process. Who does that? Showing up at 1:00am to provide a shoulder to cry on! The staff at VPB does. I can never thank them enough for treating my family as their own. My mother is still there and has now formed her own community there. Fellow residents stop by her apartment to say hello and check on her daily. Her care by the nursing staff is diligent and compassionate. We never worry that she isn't getting the BEST of care. Do yourself the privilege and find confidence in VPB. You won't regret it We sure don't! read more

Medication mismanagement, elder neglect, unsafe and wrongful billing. During my mothers stay her medications were mismanaged on multiple occasions. She would call me, let me know her pills were wrong, I would follow up and they would have some excuse about new staff or deliveries. The lead nurse role always turned over; nearly all the staff turned over constantly. At the time my mom moved out, the lead nurse at the time was always on her cell phone talking or looking at Instagram and never checking on residents. I witnessed it taking almost an hour for someone to respond to the emergency pull cord twice. My mom used it to get an aid to assist her in a doctor ordered procedure and I was going to stop her and help myself, but then thought, lets see how long it takes for someone to respond to the emergency pull cord, so I let her do it. What if it had been a real emergency? Multiple times I saw a resident who was not always able to cut up his own food, just not eat, till I went over and cut up his food for him. He was very thin and his family never visited, so didnt know he wasnt getting enough food. I was wrongfully billed on two occasions for meals I didnt eat (I would go to the dinning room but not eat). My mom went in for surgery and when I moved her back, she wasnt as strong. No one checked on her in the 6 hours she was back. When I went downstairs multiple staff people where on their cell phones, including the head nurse who never came up. I knew then I had to move her to a place that had employees that cared and I moved her to a safer, more loving home. During the time there, my mom did love her friends and the activities, which is why I left her there so long. But she often said, this isnt the place if I need help. I lived close by and check on her often so, I felt it was okay. But this is NOT the place to leave a loved one who needs a lot of care or a place to age in place if you dont have family checking on you throughout the week. read more

My mom was diagnosed with dementia in August 2022 while she was living with me. Being alone during the day at my house while I was working seemed to accelerate her decline so as a family we decided to look for a place for her to live where she had other people around her. Our first two places we visited as prospective homes for her left me feeling sad at this new chapter. Then we visited Vineyard Park at Bothell Landing and I left there so excited that we found THE place for her. While my mom seemed hurt when we told her that we found her a place to call her own, I was pretty nervous that she wouldn't like living away from me. Once she saw the facility in person she had a much more positive attitude and then we were able to get her in a one bedroom apartment there she was over the moon. The other places we visited had very limited activities for the residents and the facilities were a little dated, in fact we barely saw the residents and when we did they didn't seem very happy. The residents at Vineyard park are amazing, they were smiling and visiting with each other and very welcoming to my mom. The staff has been wonderful and I have yet to see one of them seem impatient, frustrated or even roll their eyes to requests that might seem silly to others. There is always something to do, every single day of the week. Exercise classes, walking groups, religious services, live music once a week, games, tea parties, classes, field trips, movie nights in their little theater room, emotional support dogs. They have a nice dining room that is served restaurant style with lots to choose from and they can order any time of the day off a pretty decent menu off meal time orders to take to go. The building is really well kept and beautiful, I was shocked when we walked in the first time. Grand piano in the lobby, beautiful fish tank by their little post office area, little gift shop...I was ready to move myself in! My mom has been so happy and she has actually improved now that she has so many friends and great conversations. I can't thank the Staff (from maintenance all the way to the top) for providing such a great place for my mom, I just really felt like I needed to write a review that would be useful to anyone looking for a great place for their parent or any other person they love. read more

My mom lived at the Vineyard Park at Bothell landing for 7 months in 2022 and I can't recommend this facility. The primary reason for my rating is the staff's lack of response to falls and calls regarding health and safety. The first time mom fell, she pushed her button on her necklace and no one responded. Mom told me that after waiting on the floor for 20 minutes (from the time she pushed her button), she called the kitchen and someone from the kitchen found a staff member who responded and helped her off the ground. When she fell, mom sustained a cut on her arm. A nursing assistant cleaned up the cut on her arm and said she'd come back later to bandage her arm. The nursing assistant never returned. When I reported my concerns to the director, she conducted an investigation. She called me with the findings of her investigation. She said the failure to respond occurred because of an issue with the pagers. To address this issue, the facility purchased new pagers for the staff. The director said she also updated the alert system, so that she would be personally notified when a resident pushed their button and could monitor the length of time it was taking for staff to respond. She said the nursing assistant who never came back to bandage mom's arm admitted that she had gotten busy and forgotten. The director said they would do better in the future. If this had been the last safety issue, I would have been satisfied with how it was addressed and the outcome. The second time mom fell, it was 4:00 am and she wasn't wearing her necklace (which she should have been) but she was able to reach her phone. My husband and I rushed to the facility when she called us. The entrance to the facility was closed at that time (which is standard) and I called the main number. The staff member who answered the phone and let us into the building appeared to have been woken by the call, based on his grogginess and appearance. He followed us to mom's room. Mom wasn't injured but wasn't able to get up from the ground. The staff member pulled the emergency cord (located in mom's bedroom) to get help from a second staff member to help pick mom up from the ground. We waited and waited for the second staff member to come while mom waited on the ground. When the second staff member didn't respond to the alarm, the first staff member left to get him. When the second staff member came into mom's room, his eyes were extremely bloodshot and he seemed dazed. The two men lifted mom off the floor and got her back into her recliner. On another occasion mom hadn't responded to my regular morning check in and repeated calls for almost two hours, which was extremely unusual. I was worried that something had happened to her during the night. I called the front desk and the business manager answered the phone. I explained the situation and asked if someone could check on mom and verify she was okay. She said she would send up a nursing assistant to check on her. After not hearing from anyone for an additional hour and after more calls to mom, I drove to the facility to check on her myself. While I was on my way to the assisted living facility, I was finally able to reach mom by phone and she confirmed that she was fine. Her ringer had been turned off so she hadn't heard my calls. I didn't call the business manager back to tell her that mom was okay because I wanted to see if anyone would follow through and check on her that day. No one ever did. Five months into her stay, mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was referred to hospice. We had the option of increasing her level of care (at a significantly increased cost) and letting her remain there during her final days. However, by this time, we had no confidence that she would remain safe or receive the quality care that she deserved in her final days if she stayed there. So instead, we moved her out of the Vineyards Park at Bothell Landing and into our home. read more

Vineyard Park at Bothell Landing is exceptional in every way! After looking at several assisted living facilities, I knew this was the place for my mother. My mother adored the caring staff and fellow residents. The food is delicious and the waitstaff treats all residents like family. The nursing and medical staff not only provided for my mother's medical needs, they also showed compassion and true concern for her wellbeing! The activities director finds amazing entertainment for the weekly happy hour, and she also ensures that all outings, and activities are both fun and engaging. I highly recommend Vineyard Park at Bothell Landing. I will forever be grateful for the care and love they gave to my mother. read more

This is the worst place I have ever seen in the care perspective. They do NOT follow any doctors orders. My family member is paying thousands of her dollars a month to be locked in her room and left for hours unattended. She was told to go there to get PT and an assessment to go home with a caregiver. She has been there now months with NO PT. while they continue to collect thousands for care read more

I'll be honest here, this is not the best place to work as a CNA and I wish I could have said otherwise. When I was being trained - my first day there, my co-workers informed me of how this was not the best place to work. Management doesn't really acknowledge your existence or importance as an aide. I was never introduced to any management or who was who in the facility until it was that I needed to talk to them when I first started. I was never trained, but thrown onto the floor and expected to know my residents different needs. They recycle through CNA's.. Management doesn't understand that the reason people quit is because CNA's feel as if they are not important. Nor is our existence acknowledged when we first start .. The whole facility (different departments, coworkers, pay-roll) needs to make your introductions to your new employees. In training, this is our first impression on whether or not to stay with the facility we want to work for. It's important to work in a facility where your co-workers and your managers are your family. I cannot stress this enough. It's important to be able to rely on your co-workers and feel comfortable around them, when there is a problem. But constantly, I felt hostility in this environment... between different departments, between pay-roll or the front desk. It's important to work in an environment you feel is like family, for 40 hours of the week. Work in a place you feel is family. In that way, you look forward to going to work and working for the facility. I'm writing this not to shame the facility, because working here, I did the most I could for my residents, but there's some issues behind the scene and amongst the management that need to be worked upon. read more

The staff at Vineyard Park was truly caring, extremely professional and very much a well organized and well managed facility. We were impressed with the quality of the facilities, the availability of activities and amenities. There was a sense of community among the residents and staff alike. My mother lived at Vineyard Park for 9 years and she absolutely loved it. The facility is beautiful but what is really important is the people who work there. She was treated with the utmost warmth, dignity, professionalism and care from the day she arrived to the day she passed. Everyone at Vineyard Park has been so kind and caring to not only my mother but to all of our family. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone interested in assisted living. read more

These people have high staff turnover rate. The current manager Noha is absolutely incompetent and rude and people have been moving out because of her. The food is horrid. The furniture is worn. You've been warned. read more

The staff her are amazing-I have total confidence in this facility. They provide great care, and a lot of great activities and services to keep residents healthy and happy. We checked this place out on a whim, and were thinking the care might not be the best due to the lower prices (compared to other facilities in the area). So glad we checked it out-the care is awesome, the food is quite good, and I truly can't say enough good things about the staff. read more

A nice place to live, but God help you and your loved ones if they get really sick, or need serious care. They can't help you. They insist you get outside care, and pay for it On Top of it, and the extra care they provide, costs more also. Hope you have a boat load of money! read more
