Service was excellent - we were given a complimentary glass of their newest wine when we went in. Excellent wine with an excellent view, not to mention a great relaxing playlist.

Vineyard View Winery has some incredible views, but fell a little short for me in the terms of their wines. I had several tastings and wasn't blown away by anything. I was still having wine in a beautiful setting so it wasn't a problem, I just didn't buy anything to bring home. They didn't have much in terms of a gift shop either. It was a nice touch that they had a water cooler in the corner. I would still recommend a visit, however perhaps a brief one.

I was automatically drawn in by the lake view and it was a lovely place to drink and unwind. I came here late Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of outdoor seating for us to admire the lake view. While we were here we decided to try their Dry & Sweet wine flight which came with 5 options for $7 (1oz) or $14 (2oz). It came in a super unique display and we were really satisfied with the tasting. The staff was also really helpful and provided us suggestions for local dinner spots. Lastly if you check in on yelp you will get a free wine glass.

This was one of the best wine tastings on the passport. Katie was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly! The view is stunning from all angles. The variety was great for both dry and sweet lovers.

We did a tasting this weekend, 5 wines of your choice for $4. All of the wines were delicious. I prefer dry wines and I absolutely loved the Cabernet Franc. After the tasting we purchased some of their wine to drink out on the back deck. It is a beautiful view of the lake and on this particular Friday afternoon it was not too crowded at all. The girls working in the tasting room were friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!

Vineyard View Winery will be joining the Keuka wine trail in 2015, so we thought we'd better check it out. Worth a stop and they're just getting started, so don't expect too much. There's wine and a great view. Tasting was $3, $5 if you want to keep the glass. Lots of variety. Located on the Bluff, above Keuka College, the newly built cabin-style tasting room has a gravel driveway and other rustic touches. Be sure to check out the house just above the winery with the awesome views of the lake. They even have a big sign on their back deck boasting about the superiority of their view. Such pride! The inside is nice & new with wide windows to see the lake. The bar is set up with planks on wine barrels to maximize the light flow. There's a deck outside that some folks were enjoying a bottle or two on. Apparently they found some wine they really liked. The staff is just getting used to handling the place, so give them a break. This winery hasn't been here for decades, so things aren't going to run as smoothly as the long-established places. Our party found a bottle worth buying, Like some wine, it will improve with age.

Vineyard View was our very first Fingerlakes winery, so it's got a special place in my heart. The tasting room is beautiful with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the lake. There's a deck you can enjoy as well. They have wine and local beers on tap. The wines here are very good and the service is just amazing. The woman that helped us was so kind, she even offered to take a picture of my girlfriend and I on the deck without us asking! She gave us tons of background knowledge on the grapes used in their wine as well as info on the products sold in their gift shop. I bought a pair of grape earrings that were locally made for $8!!! What a steal!! Love love love this place.

The wine tasting is also $15 for 5 different wines with the gold label, and an extra $3 for the black label wines. Honestly don't remember exactly which types we tried, but they were all really good. We ended up buying a bottle after the tasting and enjoying a picnic of food that we brought outside. The view is absolutely beautiful, and there's plenty of seating for big or small parties. I definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area!

First, the hillside view of Keuka Lake is gorgeous. Second, the tasting room interior has a modern and spacious feel. Third, we both enjoyed the Gewurtztraminer wine and purchased one bottle. Our server was quick to assist with the $12 tasting, but he seemed a bit rushed after a large crowd of visitors entered the facility. On the minus side, the rieslings were a bit flat compared to those of Dr. Konstantin Frank. Also, we made an advance reservation for 2pm, but the facility ignored it since it appeared to have a general "walk-in" policy for everyone. One downside of ignoring advance reservations is that it created a chaotic experience with customer waves. Also, it took about 15 minutes to check-out since a long line formed to exit and pay for the tastings. But overall, this was a good experience.

The most incredible (and only) speakeasy in the Finger Lakes…read more After hours of driving, we knew we needed a cool spot to go to at night for some delicious wine. Of course, the Finger Lakes are KNOWN for wine so we're just thinking we're making reservations for a wine bar (with "speakeasy" vibes). Which that would've been totally cool with us. After continuous back and forth, changing our reservations 50 million times, adding and taking people out, we finally made it to Vinifera on a Friday night and were super apologetic since we had to make yet another change. The staff was absolutely incredible and accommodating, they made sure our party of 10 would be in the same room/table. The only "downfall" was that we'd have to share the room with another small party. Which was absolutely not a problem and we ended up being BFF'S with them by the end of the night. We met the owner Jim - the most incredible human - and he took us down to the speakeasy (which passes right through a super secretive door in the back of the main room upstairs). Side note - the main room upstairs is a vibe on it's own btw and we would've been absolutely fine and happy there. It's an actual wine store and you can purchase all kind of local wines. Be sure to ask and get all the recommendations you want. Not only did we get to enjoy an incredible time but we got a super cool VIP experience and learned the story and so much history about this place, the concept, the origin and what sparked the idea of creating it. That itself, was a treat. On to the actual speakeasy experience. When you go downstairs (through that fun super cool super secretive door) - you're instantly transported to another era, another time. It's dark, it's velvety, chandeliers, spiderwebs (the aesthetic kind, idk if there were actually any but it fit the vibe in my head), Leonardo Da Vinci, Mona Lisa, candles, curtains. There are two super cool rooms, one to the right (which is where our large party sat at) and one to the left - totally recommended for smaller groups, it's cozy, it's chill, you can interact and share with other guests too. Just by this, I'm wowed. As if this wasn't enough, the drinks were absolutely incredible. I ended up ordering some kind of a smoked drink and they happily substituted the regular old fashioned for mezcal. What a dream. Everyone was happy with their drink orders, some ordered some off the menu things and they happily made them - even though they technically only serve what's on the menu. Wine flights are also available if you're in the wine vibe. Bottom line: we loved this place SO much, we came back 2 night's later for our last night. We sat in the other room and absolutely loved and enjoyed it. I had a lavender drink and it was delish. This place is a GEM and you should absolutely check it out and support it if you're in the area. If you're not, well now you have a place I know you'll love to go to!
