We visited with Friends to do a tasting but mostly to soak up the atmosphere and it was wonderful. The wines in my humble opinion were great to. But it was very interesting to learn about the locations of the plots and taste the difference in the grapes as well as learn that the winery still keeps up with it's Ukrainian Heritage notwithstanding the generalized Soviet attitude toward more intelligent and energetic members of its society. The person who was doing our tasting was very knowledgeable so we learned a lot. Tasted quite a bit bought some but enjoyed our experience immensely.

She gave us an in-depth tour of the facility with a lot of history! It gave us a better understanding and appreciation for champagne and sherry, how they are made and their history. I hope sherry has a comeback!! What a cool product with so many uses. The property could use some TLC, new roads, some fresh paint, but I get the idea they're doing what they can to keep the business alive. Our tasting experience, also with Jenny was enlightening!
