I was told that they weren't willing to put another permanent retainer on, and the reasoning seemed sound, so that's fine. They said the plastic, removable, night-time retainers would be $390... I said that's not something I would be interested in because of the price, and they shrugged their shoulders and said "Alright." I don't have experience with the removal process for a permanent retainer, but it was INCREDIBLY painful. I felt like the person performing it was being much rougher than was necessary. When that was done and I went to the front desk, the woman there asked ME how much I was told the removal would cost... I said I didn't know. Then she started talking about the ~$400 cost for the plastic retainers before I politely told her that I had chosen not to purchase those. She then asked me TWICE more if anyone had been able to tell me how much the removal would cost... I was incredibly confused- how should a patient know the exact cost of a procedure better than the staff handling accounting and charges? I walked out dumbstruck and confused.

The orthodontic assistants were either new and inexperienced or experienced and rude. The length of treatment was greatly extended due to lack available appointments. The doctor would say 4 weeks, but no appointments available for 6/7 weeks. When that happened every time, treatment got extended by over a year. We regret not going to a smaller practice.

I walked in to check in and she was carrying on a phone conversation with a friend about her weekend while she glared at me as if I was inconveniencing her by standing at her desk to check in. Once she did finally get off the phone she was short and very agitated. I have never experienced anything quite like that in my life, but I would not recommend using this office. If your spending you own hard earned money on something as important as dentistry work, find someone who at least acts like they want your business.

Not a huge deal, but this was their error, not ours.

This has been going on for the whole year. After a few months they will apply 2 or 3 months of payments at once. I have tried to resolve this by speaking to the office staff in Hamilton Mill, I called the main office, who transferred me to the billing company. Then the billing company said it was an issue with the practice. I sat down with a billing specialist at their Lawrenceville office about a month ago, who was very apologetic and took down all of my information. However the issue is still not resolved. I am at a loss of how to fix it at this point. I have one more child that will need braces in the near future but unfortunately I will have to find a different practice.

Now we received a bill for almost $300. We called and were told that the bill was due to the fact that they did not collect the total amount from insurance. What is the point of paying upfront for the total service if they are going to keep adding costs without additional services? She did not need additional visits, or hardware. Unfortunately we are half way through her treatment and have already paid them thousands of dollars. We are stuck. Due yourself a favor and avoid this group or you too could end up paying more than you expected

They expect us to be accommodating, but they sure aren't. I've had 4 kids go there. Then we needed another round for my son.
