    Indian menu

This is definitely not your traditional Italian restaurant but that's a good thing. They have burgers, sandwiches and Indian food. The food is delicious, the seasoning and care put into each dish is very evident. It seems strange to order Indian at an Italian restaurant but their chef is from India and those dishes do not disappoint. The samosas had an incredible crispy crust and the dipping sauce was sweet. It's two per order and one is more than enough for one person. The curry chicken is probably the best curry dish in the motherlode. The portion was huge (you will have leftovers) and comes with a nice yogurt sauce to drizzle over each bite. The Naan bread is cooked in house and pairs perfectly with this dish. The aloo Chana was equally flavorful and another huge portion, it seemed like an entire can of garbanzo beans. The namesake Italian food was also delicious. Every pasta has the option to add steak, shrimp, or chicken. The pesto was a true homemade pesto. You could really taste the fresh basil and the shrimp paired perfectly. The breadsticks were good but got a little stale as they sat. It is a large place with plenty of seating and a very nice group table right up front. The lighting is a little uneven, so some tables are in darkness and others are directly under rhe lights. Considering there were only a few other tables, the service was a little slow. Our server was very friendly and had a great attitude but after saying bread was coming right out it was awhile before it finally arrived. The food is absolutely worth every penny and I'll definitely be back but don't come here expecting a quick dinner.

Well that was the absolutely the worst meal I've ever eaten where to to begin without Karening the heck out of this review. So let me start with a positive the two non- Italian meals my son said weren't bad wings and french fries, so there's that. I had spaghetti w/ meatballs: spag noodles crunchy guess microwave got them. Sauce maybe a enough to extra lightly coat the noodles taste was cold burn maybe, or 6 day oldish, nothing representing garnish or anything other than tomato sauce present. Meatballs 3 1" balls that had the texture of pho balls in the soup you know what I'm talking about, smooth like marbles, taste like they bought a bag of balls (literally) from the $1.25 store, and tossed them in as they ran out over the week. The microwave helped with the taste a little too I'm sure. Portion Size sooooooooooooooooooooo here's the thing, I'm not a large man, and regular portions suite me fine; however if your going to sell a S, M or L the large should be an amount, If I so desired, could save a little for later, see picture. The Large pizza shouldn't be 13" and I'm being conservative probably 10" - 12" . Well a lot has changed at Vinny's and not for the better, it's been about 10 minutes since I ate a few bites and I'm scared to say I'm nauseous. This was not the case just a few years back, it wasn't great but I can say it was consistent, and fresher and I believe the portion sizes was fair. I know times have been tough, but why would a restaurant take it out on the food, pretty gross . I'll be looking forward to Pinocchio's down the street, very sorry they weren't open today. I'd a been better going to Safeway. Eat here at your own financial risk. PS id a given a 0 star if it's a let me, since it was terrible on all accounts.

This is my third time eating here, and I would say it's a hidden gem. The service is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is really yummy. The calzones are cooked fresh and served with a side of marinara. They were stuffed with ingredients B and filled us up. The seafood pasta was tasty according to my son as I don't eat seafood, and the bread stick was good. They do not serve bread while you're waiting for the meal to arrive -- that would be nice. I have never been to Viney's and found them to be busy, but I've never been of a weekend. We really like to support local family businesses and will return.

First time trying this place yesterday and was suprised by how great it is! I will definitely be back and this will become a regular spot to dine at! I ordered the create your own pasta with penne noodles basil pesto and veggies mixed in. Dave ordered the traditional lasagna Both meals can with a delicious bread stick... Both meals arrived hot and presented nicely We both thought the noodles were perfect Al dente' cooked and perfect portion sizes They have pizza, pastas, calzones, salads and a few other things and a really nice atmosphere, kinda quiet off the main drag through Sonora!

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. We had a longer lunch hour so we decided to try them out. When we walked in, it was empty so I was a little nervous. The inside had a very quaint and cozy atmosphere. I was hopeful m. We were greeted promptly by our waitress and she took our order within 5 minutes. I ordered the chicken Marsala and my friend ordered a pepperoni pizza. I would say the food was out in about 15-20 minutes. Presentation was good and it tasted even better. The Marsala was served with noodles rather than mashed potatoes which I loved. It had a garlicky flavor and it was delicious! My friend loved her pizza as well. We will most definitely be back to try them again.

GET THE CALZONE IT IS Amazing!! There is no sauce in it. You dip it in the sauce, so the bread is perfectly crispy on the outside.

what a creative menu!…read more I was hungry for a philly cheese, and the "philly cheese please" hit the spot. Soft tender slices of ribeye, paired with grilled onions, grilled red and green bell peppers and a helping of black pepper was great. No sauce to make it messy and paired with garlic truffle fried was fantastic. Since these were shoe string cut, they were crispy and very crunchy. My SO ordred the fondue burger, and this was delicious as well. Warning the hot cheese will burn you, and hot cheese oil. But worth the burn as this smother cheese on a ciabatta bun was great. This was paired with sweet potato fries. These thick cut sweet potatoe fries are only sprinkled with sea salt, they retained the soft and moist texture just prefect. One order of a passion fruit lemonade, was a great balance of sweet and tart, and came in a very large glass. Pleanty of ice to keep it chill and slowly sip through out the meal. The meal a tad heavier than I thought, I finished my philly cheese, but not the fries (a first) The room is very high ceiling and all these great art works, posters and items on all the walls. TV screen with sports and sounds like sattelite radio running above. Service was very prompt and friendly. They explained the menu and clarified on some points. The specials sounds great, but we opted for a lighter dinner and went for sandwiches and burgers.

However, it was sooooo slow. From the moment we were seated it probably took about 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. Then it took the same before our drinks were brought and they finally took our order. Nearly 1 hour after we sat some of our pizza finally came. The calzone took an extra 15 minutes. During the wait we did not get an update or any notice from the one or two staff members. When the food eventually came out it was still missing things. When we placed the order we asked for marinara and ranch. Neither came out with the pizza and we had to ask 4 times before it was finally brought to our table. Not to mention, we only asked for 1 marinara and they brought 2 that were half full and charged us for 2.... Some of the pizza options were fun and creative but the service and speed was a huge letdown. Sourdough snickerdoodle cookie, breakfast muffin, and the nice gal threw in a lemon tart. Except this crumble tasted like breadcrumbs with a few oatmeal pieces sprinkled in. The muffin itself was like a carrot cake with little bits of carrot and raisin visible with just the slightest hint of spice, otherwise, tasteless, although the presentation was very nice . The snickerdoodle cookie had a nice sour flavor but was dry and unappealing. The lemon tart had no lemon flavor. Maybe it was marked wrong? I've heard great reviews about their sourdough. An absolute must-visit on Washington Street in Sonora!…read more The Local Collective is exactly what its name represents: a place rooted in genuine care for people, families, and the local community. What stands out immediately is how kind and welcoming the owners are. This is truly a family-run shop, and you can feel the intention behind everything they do. They aren't just stocking shelves, they are thoughtfully sourcing items they would confidently choose for their own family and children. That level of care is rare. We bought a hoodie, hat, and t-shirt for my daughter's birthday, and she has been wearing them every single day since. The quality is incredible! I mean really. These are not cheaply made pieces. You can feel the difference right away in the fabric, the fit, and the durability. What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. It's not just about business. It is about people. They genuinely care about the families who walk through their doors and he went out of his way to offer products that reflect that. They do not jack up the prices but the quality is better than an REI or Sax 5th Avenue. I know good quality and these items are made very well. We also purchased a tumbler for my children, bird house, two stuffed animals, and a few other little things and the quality and make are consistent throughout the store no matter what it is. Having seven children we know good quality items. Unfortunately, it is not an unfamiliar experience to see things break after purchasing. Not here! If you're looking for meaningful, high-quality items and want to support a family that truly puts other families first, this is a place you'll want to keep coming back to and buying from again and again.
