I've been to Pizza Plus twice now and it hasn't disappointed. Mark, the owner, was there one of the times, and you can tell he really loves his craft and takes pride in his business after 32 years. That kind of dedication shows. The pizza is made with fresh ingredients, and I was surprised by how it doesn't feel heavy after you're done eating. DELICIOUS we were staying in the area and wanted to eat some pizza. We heard some great things about this place and wanted to give it a try and boy were we impressed with our decision. We ordered a pepperoni pizza along with a cheese pizza for the kids. The size is good taste is fresh the pepperoni was perfectly sliced we asked to have the slices sliced thin which was done with no issue at all. My first visit here and the pizza was Amazing! 1/08/24 I walked into the bar area and ordered a large half pepperoni and half 49er and Holy Moly it was awesome. There's two other pizza places nearby called St.Charles and Mikes which were also good. But pizza plus was BETTER. I ordered my pizza, sat at the bar and ordered a hazy lagunitas while I waited. The female bartender was super nice. I'll definitely return while working in this area and already have recommended it to my coworkers. read more

The employee tasked with working at the bar this evening was very rude. Lacked any ability to multi task, and never gave us a menu, never offered drinks, was honestly one of the most awkward experiences with wait staff of my life. The emplo proceeded to talk sh$&t about me to another customer, . The pizza itself was about a 3 out of 10 (which, sadly is a higher score for pizza in this area) it was mid, and the pizza preparers need to learn how to slice toppings... idk a finely chopped bell pepper is kinda weird on a pizza. I'll eat here again, only because there ain't many other places to choose from. Ambiance was 4 out of 10. They also ONLY have styrofoam cups for soda, and plastic cups for water. I find this extremely wasteful. To go order, dining in, doesn't matter here's your styrofoam cup. Do better pizza plus. For a bunch of people we remember how good it used to be. read more

I've been going to Pizza Plus here in Jamestown for years now and I always get the same thing. I always get the submarine sandwich with extra pickles and garden salsa chips. Every time I go, it's better than the last, I swear. I usually call it in, so it's fast; it's also super affordable (we have a family to feed). Cute little location that we love walking to while in downtown Jamestown. I haven't personally had their pizzas, but my 10 yr old swears they are "no cap, bussin". Perfect balance of crust, cheese, and sauce. We always try a basic pepperoni to start and it was outstanding. We love how the pepperoni was cooked with the edges perfectly cooked. The other thing we loved about this place is how clean it was. I came to pick up the pizza at dinner time and the place looked like they had just opened... everything so clean and tidy The final and most impressive thing about this place was the workers... they all were super friendly and working extremely hard. The best traditional pizza and calzones and offer all toppings one could want including anchovies (Yuck). They have about a dozen beers on tap (many local), and a plentiful fresh salad bar. They expanded about a year and a half ago and now have plenty of seating and a private room that can be booked for private events. read more

Whenever I am in this area I must have a pizza from Pizza Plus. On our way back from Pinecrest I called from Sonora to place my order. The guy put me on hold for 15 min and never answered so I hung up and redialed thinking maybe I was disconnected. I called again and again, but they would pick up the phone and hang up on me. This happened about 12 times, they play games if you don't stay on the line when they ask you to hold. By that time I passed Jamestown and had pizza at Mtn Mike's. This time, ordered coming back from mountains, and sadly, the taste of the 49ers pizza was "meh"; asked for extra cheese and it tasted like there was none. I can officially say im not impressed. I've gone in a few times with friends, and each time we do, we get a different response about something. There was an olderman (owner) who cashed me out at one point, and he was lovley! Made suggestions, checked if his cooks could do it, and it was wonderful being served by him. Went in two nights later and was told we couldn't order it along with it not being the same price. After explaining what the owner said, we were told that he's "not all there" by one of the workers. The pizza is a giant peperoni with extra sauce, i asked for ranch to go just as i had the week before and this time there was a charge to it (despite you getting unlimited when eating in). Im guessing different workers say different things, but i think I'll try and avoid night staff as each time I've been in, they have been realitivly unfriendly. I'd say the sides are the best part of the menu, but the pizza itself is not anywhere close to a favorite of mine. The bread is good, but the rest of it feels like biting into textured grease. (I took a napkin to it to soak some of the grease up) The slices were also interesting.... After hearing a worker put down the owner and the constant switch up of answers on sides, it's safe to say i won't be coming in by myself! read more
