Their wine selection is abundant and seems to be rotating based of Yelp reviews/photos. I ordered the Monastrell Actea bottle for a modest $34(including corking fee) and was pleasantly surprised by its taste- as well as its alcohol content at 14.5%. I ordered the Brie Prosciutto Sandwich with the wine, and the jam complimented the taste oh so well. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who is willing to spend a little bit for quality food/drink at the airport. Lovely area that feels cozy like a bistro. read more

Again I'm a VV fan and glad the SWA terminal at my home airport has been upgraded to include one. The offerings are all very consistent from store to store, and this one executes them well. The arrangement is VV standard, without the benefit of a special view or other unique features. Traffic at this location is a bit light, so the staffing was limited. I would have never expected a place of this caliber to be in the Columbus airport, but it was a pleasant surprise! I did not partake in the food, but everything looked delicious, but a bit pricey (which isn't too out of the ordinary for an airport). The bartender was very polite and very knowledgeable regarding their wine selections. Jake at vino volo at the Columbus airport was one of the best bartenders I've ever personally dealt with. He made special accommodations for us when our flight home was delayed and we were very thankful for it. We would have been quite enraged about our flights being delayed many hours and the our airline literally only giving us free cookies and crackers like we are some preschool children after recess. I was very impressed with not only his knowledge in wine but his hospitality as well. 10/10 would come again. read more

Found this by accident when thinking I'd be stuck with Donatos for a quick bite. Ambiance is classy and , bartenders were quick, capable, and gracious. Even better, the Creamy Tomato Bisque was delicious: thick, rich, and savory. The accompanying bread, while not perfectly fresh, was tasty and chewy. This was a great Italian/wine bar restaurant that had a good calming atmosphere with frank sinatra style music, made me feel like I wasn't in an airport. I got the sauvignon blanc, truffle popcorn (amaze!), and cheese board with delicious warm bread! I had a few servers take care of me since I worked and ate their for a while before my flight and each person was so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend this spot! read more

I was a patron at VinoVolo CMH recently while traveling with a business colleague. We were working as we enjoyed some appetizers and wine. When I was gathering my things to go catch my flight, I left my business journal on the table. I called the next morning to inquire. GM Carl Robinson went out of his way to help locate my journal. He reviewed surveillance video and saw that another patron had picked up the journal and taken it to the SWA gate next door. Carl went to the gate and they were able to find it in their lost and found! He called me back with the good news! I appreciate Carl's assistance in locating my journal. Did the Shades of White wine flight and a glass of white. Wine is hight quality and service is much better than to be expected out of an airport bar. The setting and ambiance transports you out of Terminal A Gates and I forgot I was in the airport for a while. Definitely will visit this place again when flying in and out of Columbus. read more

Vino Volo is the best place to wait for a flight out of Columbus. The food is fresh and delicious. I tried the prosciutto brie sandwich and the warm apple tart and they were both awesome. The wines are lovely and there is a good selection. The best part is the service - even when they are busy they are courteous and efficient. I had a wonderful experience at the Columbus airport on Saturday, July 23 and I owe it all to Vino Volo. read more
