Surprisingly good caprese sandwich, fresh ingredients and the bread they used was soft with a perfect crust. I just stopped by because it was close to my terminal and I usually hate eating at the airport because I always feel ripped off, but this was worth it and I think a solid value and great quality. read more

Marcy was amazing!!! I wanted to drink a glass of wine and have some cheese while my husband and daughter wanted a different thing. Marcy was super nice in making me feel comfortable, serving me nice wine while allowing my husband and daughter to get food from other places and come eat with me. The cheese selection was not the greatest to be honest and the accompaniment of the cheese also so so compared to other vino volo experiences but can't say enough good things about Marcy and what she did that night. read more

I got through TSA surprisingly fast and had some time for a glass of wine - I had just sent my children's book off to the publisher earlier that day and wanted to take a moment to reflect and celebrate! This was a great place to do that! It's a quiet , lovely spot in the airport and the staff is awesome! Super fast service. I tried a flight/tasting of red wine and a delicious salad. I was enjoying this moment so much I forgot to watch the time. When I checked, it was boarding time for my flight - several gates away. I asked for a check and they brought it immediately. When you have time between flights or you to the airport with time to kill, highly recommend Vino Volo, it's such a classy little spot in the airport but it transports you from feeling like you're in an airport. I had the Celebration Sparklers Taste All 3 for $19 and it was well worth it. Look how classy and cute the flight is! Also it for me feeling pretty good right away, so you know it's high quality champagne that they are serving! I had the burrata appetizer ($15) and another full glass of a Sparkling Blend from Armenia ($17). This blend has notes of green apple and lime tart. Perfectly crisp and bright! All in all I'm really pleased with this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone! A classy, luxurious moment with champagne?! Sign me up! 10/10 read more

A good spot for a nice bite inside terminal 1 of the Minneapolis St Paul airport! I'm used to being generally unable to find decent food in most airports so this was a welcome surprise during our 5 hour layover. While being a wine bar I desperately was in the mood for a beer - they had three local brews to offer and I went with a Fulton blonde. Wasn't disappointed! For food we had a pesto flat bread, a chicken, beet, avocado, and goat cheese salad, and some potstickers. The flat bread had a balsamic drizzle atop a nice portion of arugula. It wasn't the best flat bread I've ever had, but it was tasty, well cooked, and the edges were crispy. The salad was nice and the avocado was excellent - the chicken was dry, wouldn't recommend that add on. The potstickers were fried, and had an eggroll-esque filling with a sweeter dipping sauce. A bit unique for bite size potstickers, but they were crispy and went nicely with the sweet sauce. The wait service was very nice, the bartender acted as both that and our waitress, as well as someone I imagine was the cook? Either way, great friendly service. All in all a surprisingly pleasant airport restaurant experience! read more

Great prompt service. I see these venues in many airports and I now seek them out. You can order a small plate with a wine flight of your choosing. I've seen Vino Volo in various other airports but this was my first time stopping in. I thought they only had wines, but they also have a variety of food options too! Having just eaten dinner, I opted for just wine. I went for the California Kings wine flight and really enjoyed the Sage Merlot the best out of the 3 reds. Considered buying a bottle but didn't have room in my carryon. The wine tastings ran about $13-$15 and single glasses about the same price. Full bottles were around $30. It's a great place to kill time while waiting for a flight, and they have a loyalty club you can join via app to see what other airports they have locations in, earn rewards and get access to special offers. read more

I go back up to the register to ask for a refund because I don't want anything to do with this restaurant anymore. She will not give me a refund. I say well then can I at least get something else? I love this chain when I travel. It is very dependable and consistent. The only negative about this MSP location was that I felt like I was sitting in the middle of the terminal hallway. I wish it was more restaurant like and enclosed away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal. The wine selections were top notch and the service was great. Service started out quick. Waiter was able to describe the difference in the wines offered and brought my voice over quickly. I ordered the Burrata Bowl. It didn't take long for it to arrive and was pretty good. Service kind of went south after that for me. I finished eating and drinking while watching the second waitress check on her tables several times. My waiter would glance in my direction but not really acknowledge me much. Finally he came over to clear my table and I asked for another glass of wine to which he replied, "Oh, you want another one?" He quickly delivered but I didn't really have any additional interaction with him until I had to go to him to ask for my check. I would have gave a higher star if the service was better because the food and timely manor was good and dishes ordered by other people looked good too. I have been here before dresses in business attire and the same waiter treated me completely different. I'm not sure if it was because I am dressed down today or maybe it was just a day for him. I'm not sure because he seemed to address other tables better. I will still come back here though because the wine is always good and the food light and fresh. I watch as the girl accidentally put a bit of coffee (she used the wrong dispenser on accident) in my cup with the tea bag. I asked her if any coffee got in. She blatantly said no. She then gave me the cup and the tea was suspiciously dark and smelled of coffee. I said that there was coffee inside. She rolled her eyes and went to make another one. No "I'm sorry". I love Vino Volo. But I had a terrible experience at this location. Every single wine glass was dirty. It's really hard to get excited about a $20 glass of wine when the glass is dirty. And, today I experienced a glass of wine that smelled of road kill and garbage cans in the Minnesota sun. Here's what happened: one wine within my flight smelled like a literal trash can. When I gave it back to the server, he poured another glass from the same bottle. Still smelled like a trash can. When I asked him if he smelled it, he said no, but he wanted to confirm whether the glass or the bottle. Uhm. Please do better. Small pour, no apology. First off people. You are eating at the airport. You are already in a pretty rough situation gastronomically. However, as far as airport restaurants go, this was truly a bright spot. With maybe 20 minutes to spare before my flight from MSP to DCA boarded I risked a quick bite to avoid being tempted by whatever weird snacks or meals Delta would try to convince me to eat. I opted for the duo of "street" tacos (one brisket, one carnitas) and paired it with a cheap Syrah and some pellegrino. Tacos were amazing - fresh tasting, perfect portions. Syrah was also a great value and I left happy. Lastly, compliments to Brooke who was working behind the bar on Sunday, August 11. She deftly handled entitled travelers demanding directions to bathrooms, where is this or that gate queries, give me my check I'm in a hurry my plane is boarding, etc. all while keeping it super positive. read more
