Large margaritas, tasty food and good service combined for a great date night at Teresa's! I went here on a Friday night and it was packed. Despite the nearly full restaurant we were seated right away and given complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered a large margarita that was giant but was too sweet for me so I didn't finish it. I ordered the arroz con pollo which was very good. It was cheesy and the grilled chicken with rice were a delicious combo. They also give tortillas to add to the entree which I enjoyed. Our server was nice and attentive despite the amount of tables they were serving. I could see why this place was so busy!

The staff is super nice and they even stayed. Open a little late for us which we really appreciated. The food on the other hand is something I will not be back for . The quesadilla was not good , it had American cheese in it (not good) and I couldn't pick it up bc it was so messy and sloppy. The enchilada was extremely salty. I wouldn't recommend eating here if you are looking for authentic Mexican. Other than the food the staff and restaurant itself is nice

A friend born and raised in Lakeville swears by Theresa's for the classic chips-and-salsa experience you don't often get in the Cities, so on a recent visit we stopped in. We were feeling snacky so opted for the complimentary chips and salsa for the table, plus the large guac and large queso and some margs. I love their salsa - so fresh and delicious! I wish the chops were a bit more salty but they were also warm and fresh. The guac was also fresh and the queso was exactly what we'd hoped for - creamy deliciousness. We had great service - the staff are definitely jokesters with a good sense of humor. The peach margarita was massive and seemed a bit pricey, but when we took a sip we knew why: that thing was boozy! Reasonably priced, good service, and the classic flavors you love. Can't speak to the entrees but would definitely return if back in the area!

Pick two (was suppose to be supreme but was not brought out that way)

As a adult now, I have grown up going to this Teresa's location! Tonight's specific occasion was a mother daughter date! We walked in and like always, got seated quickly. The customer service is and has always been great! Ordering was quick with follow up as requested and the fastest food delivery ever upon ordering! I want to continue with the most amazing reviews but unfortunately the food itself was not quite as great. I ordered the pick two (that comes with rice and beans), specifying a Chili Relleno and a Chile con Queso. It was brought super quick but upon receiving it, the plate was hot but the food was just barely warm. My Chile con Queso tortilla was so soggy I could not find it under the toppings. And unfortunately my Chili Relleno was so soggy that upon cutting it, some cheese came out but quickly stopped as it was not thoroughly heated. It was not crispy in the slightest and instead was a soggy, cold, wet texture. The rice and beans were warm, their normal, enjoyable way. Also, the server took our order and one of us asked for a supreme for our pick two, it was not brought out that way but we just decided to not say anything. The service from the waiters was great, my water being filled almost immediately upon being finished. And the waitress helped us find the app we wanted and brought it within two minutes. Unfortunately our entrees were not so great which brings us to wonder if we would come back for food, maybe an app and a drink but who knows. Service great, food not so great. Won't give up but also not so pleased.

EXCELLENT!! We had been driving all around town looking for a good mexican restaurant, tried 4 or 5 places before finding Teresa's. And we are hooked, we will absolutely be back!! The building inside is really nice, fancier than your usual mexican restaurant, i loved it. Waitress was very nice, very happy to be there. Chips and salsa were great, perfect chips, not too thick , not too thin. Salsa was really good, tiny bit of spice, has good flavor, unlike some other places it taste like plain tomato sauce. My husband ordered the Pastor Especial, marinated pork with pineapple, served with tortillas. it was very good! he wanted to try something new and he was not dissapointed, would get it again! I ordered the Fiesta Burrito, its huge, you could easily share it with someone, but it was so good you might not want to. Carnitas inside with rice n beans, cheese sauce on top, and i had them toss some salsa verde on top with the cheese, highly recommend this! salsa verde with carnitas is a must. definitely give this place a try! you wont be disappointed.

Teresa's was the first restaurant I tried when moving to Lakeville. The food has always been good, extremely friendly servers and a fun vibe!!

Recently visited here again at my son's request. "They have the best fried ice cream", he said. First of all delighted a mature man seated us in his section with high-back booths. This elder treated us with kindness and care as I requested "a step ladder" to get into my seat. (Laughing). Oh yah, the beginning of a great dining experience. Thanks to my sweet son who loves to visit here. The wait staff, drinks, dinner, dessert all outstanding and delicious. At least one of us had the Margarita Chicken a delightful dinner with tastes and appearance on point. The waiter made our evening the best visit ever. Gracias Amigos Mama Mae

Eh. It's not great, but affordable and curbs the craving for Mexican food. We went on a Tuesday with a large group and were able to get seated right away. The waiter came by eventually and we were able to get our drinks ordered, but it was a long time until we saw him again. The chips and salsa were stale and salsa bland. The queso we ordered to share as a table was good, but we had to ask for fresh chips that ended up being much better. For my meal, I got the street tacos. You get to pick 3 meats for your tacos and it comes with rice and beans. I got Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Carne Asada. The carnitas was by far the best. It was flavorful and delicious. The Al Pastor was really fatty and had a weird aftertaste. The carne asada was fine. Everyone else at the table was just "meh" with their food too. The margaritas were like pretty bad. The lime flavor was really artificial tasting and the color was similar to a highlighter. Definitely no real lime juice in those. Pros: kid friendly, big menu, good queso. Cons: slow service, hit or miss food, bad margs.

My wife and I have been here many times, and there's a reason we keep coming back. That said, not everything is perfect. The food here is consistently great. I could go into more detail, but we've had so many different dishes over the years that it's hard to list them all. For my own notes, I had the Short Rib Melt this time and absolutely loved it. I wanted more! The Burrata Bruschetta was amazing too. It was way too expensive for only four small slices of toast, but it was delicious. We've also really enjoyed their French Toast in the past, along with several other menu items. The cheesy hashbrowns are usually amazing, but there were something off about ours this time. Maybe we just got a bad batch...? Their coffee drinks are also very good. A few people at our table ordered lattes and said they were much better than an average latte. They were also very large. One thing that's both good and bad is that they change and rotate their menu fairly often. On the plus side, you can visit and try something new that you may not have seen there before. On the downside, some of our favorite dishes are no longer on the menu, which can be disappointing. The same thing seems to happen with their specials and deals. They used to have a Smashburger special, one day of the week, but I don't think that's offered anymore. I also remember several other specials they used to run that are no longer available. There have been a few times when that has kept us from visiting. Their hours are also weird at times, so I strongly recommend checking the hours on their website before making plans. They may not be open when you expect them to be. For example, we've wanted to go there for dinner several times on a Monday or Tuesday, but they aren't open. Kitchen closes early several other days. It was extremely busy when we arrived around 10:50 to 11:00 a.m. on a Sunday. We were honestly surprised by how packed it was, and there was a wait for a table. Just an FYI if you're planning to visit during a busy brunch time. Also, in case the owner is reading this, using AI-generated images on your website and inside the restaurant is a massive turnoff. I don't want to see AI-generated artwork on a restaurant's website or hanging inside the restaurant itself. That is an easy star deduction for me. The design and style of the restaurant are really nice. It has more of an open concept setup, so it can get a little loud, but for some reason it never seems to get as loud as you might expect. If you go during a slower time, it can be very relaxing. Overall, I really like the look and feel of the restaurant. I feel like I say this in 95% of my Yelp reviews at this point, but I'm going to keep saying it. The prices aren't great, especially compared with the portion sizes. I won't spend too much time on this, but if you're looking for a budget-friendly restaurant, this probably isn't the place. The service was mostly great. They were clearly very busy, but our waiter never refilled my water, and he didn't come back often enough for me to ask. He also didn't know what soups they had for the day, and instead of offering to go check, he just said he "didn't know" and my friend ordered something else for their side. Not a huge deal, but maybe a coachable moment. Since the restaurant was so packed, it also took quite a while to get our food and drinks. That was understandable considering how busy they were, but it's worth knowing if you're in a hurry. Overall, we really love The Better Half. The food is great, the coffee drinks are better than average, the restaurant has a nice and relaxing atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and there's usually something new to try. The higher prices, weird hours, rotating menu, discontinued specials, AI-generated artwork, and occasional slow service keep it from being perfect, but the great food and overall experience will keep us coming back, just not as often as some other places.

The restaurant itself has a nice style, but it has more of an open concept vibe. It can get loud indoors, especially if there's a sporting event on. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a Taphouse, after all, but it's something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter restaurant. The staff has always been very nice. We've never had any issues with the service. We were starving, so we ordered quite a bit of food. We started with the crispy fried pickles. These are pretty dang great, and my wife described them as the "best fried pickles" she's ever had. I thought they were good too, but maybe not the best. You get a decent amount, a little expensive at $12. We decided to splurge on a second appetizer and ordered the jumbo bacon cheddar chive tots. These are absolutely amazing. "Heavenly" is probably the best way to describe them. I feel like I could eat 30 of these in one sitting because they're that good. They have to be some of the best jumbo tots I've ever had at a restaurant, and the house aioli makes them even better. They're $13, and while they're still a little expensive, you do get a good portion. They're good enough that I'd call them an absolute must order. My wife got the Spicy Honey Salmon Bowl and really liked it. Since it's salmon, it's obviously going to be a little more expensive, but I was impressed with the portion size. She even had leftovers to take home, and she said they reheated really well. I've been searching for the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich in the area, so I decided to order theirs. It's also available in a "Minnesota Nice" spice level, but I ordered the regular spice version. Overall, it was pretty good, but it's not the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich I've had. That said, it's probably one of the better ones in the area and MUCH MUCH better than Barley & Vine's version. I do wish it had been a little hotter because it really isn't that spicy. There's a little heat, but not much. As for the flavor of the sauce, I thought it was good, but I've definitely had better and I've certainly had worse. Overall, it's a solid sandwich, and I'd order it again. I got it with their fries and have no complaints there either. We sat outside since the weather was nice and really enjoyed the patio. The bugs were a little annoying, but there's only so much the restaurant can do about that. The service wasn't slow, but it also wasn't particularly fast. Our waitress was kind. Altogether, we ended up spending over $80 after tax and tip. It felt a little pricey, but we did order two appetizers, and my wife had salmon. There are definitely more affordable options on the menu, and considering what most restaurants are charging these days, I can't complain too much. One thing I can and will complain about, and it's partially why I deducted a star, is the 3% credit card fee. They're passing part of their overhead operating/processing costs on to the customer, on top of the higher menu prices we've all seen over the past few years. That's disappointing to see. All that said, I recommend this restaurant, and we'll definitely be back. The credit card processing fee is incredibly annoying, and while the Nashville hot chicken sandwich wasn't amazing, it was still good. The jumbo bacon cheddar chive tots are an absolute must order, and the staff has always been friendly.

FANTASTIC food, drinks, service, patio area, and ambiance!…read more I'm from Arizona and visit my in-laws in central MN 1-2x per year. However, this trip we had a wedding southeast of "the cities" where wife and our two kids loved that menu online and decided to check it out on our way to the wedding the next day. Honestly, this has been my fav restaurant in all of Minnesota. Ribeye, walleye, pretzel, and drinks were perfect! Unfortunately, I likely won't be in the area ever again to revisit it; however, we liked it so much I had to post a positive review. Cheers from AZ.

Oh boy...where to start? I guess I will start with the pros…read more First, I always like to mention what day and time I visited a restaurant. I decided to get takeout for lunch on a Monday afternoon. I have been on a kick lately trying Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches, or in Barley and Vine's case, the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich. That was the main reason I wanted to stop by for lunch. I placed a to-go order, but we have also dined inside several times before. Starting with the positives, the staff is always very friendly and welcoming. There is really no issue there. The staff is fantastic. The overall vibe and ambiance of the restaurant are incredibly nice as well. It leans toward a fancier, higher-end, upscale atmosphere. I honestly think that may be part of the reason several reviews are so positive and why people may perceive the food as being higher quality or better tasting. We have also had brunch here more than once. We are generally not brunch people, but we have really enjoyed the brunch items we have ordered in the past. I am hoping we can come back for brunch again, and maybe I can eventually write an updated review with a higher rating. So why only 3/5 stars? My most recent to-go visit left me incredibly disappointed. To start, the Tennessee "Hot" Chicken Sandwich is not hot at all. "Hot" is absolutely not the correct word to use. It should probably just be called a Tennessee Chicken Sandwich, and honestly, even using "Tennessee" or "Nashville" does not seem accurate. This seemed like a basic Fried Chicken Sandwich made from a frozen chicken filet with far more breading than actual chicken. It is not the most pleasant photo to look at, but I attached a picture of the partially eaten sandwich to this review. You can clearly see how little chicken meat there actually was. They put white BBQ sauce on the sandwich, but I do not really have anything particularly good or bad to say about it. It was just kind of there. It did not improve the sandwich, but it did not necessarily make it worse either. The fries were also just fine. They seemed to be lacking flavor and may have been slightly burnt. Speaking of overcooked, the chicken sandwich also tasted overcooked. Overall, the sandwich and fries were simply not very good. I would never order the sandwich again, and I would probably substitute the fries for a different side in the future. Another issue is the repeated delay with to-go orders. I have ordered takeout from Barley and Vine maybe three or four times, and every single time the order has been late. I usually arrive only one or two minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Sometimes I even wait in the parking lot because I do not want to arrive too early. Every single time, the order is not ready at the scheduled time. This time, I only had to wait about six minutes past the pickup time. However, during my previous to-go experience a few weeks earlier, I waited more than 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. This has also happened during other visits. Finally, everything usually comes down to whether the meal is worth the price. I paid $17.77 for the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries. That included a 48 cent credit card surcharge. They add a 3% surcharge to all credit card payments, which automatically leaves a bad taste in my mouth at any restaurant. It's not something they have to do, to support higher wages or whatever they want to tell you. It's something they CHOOSE to do. Other restaurants don't do, or they simply increase their menu prices 3%. Which I would rather have than yet another fee in this world. Regardless, the meal was simply not worth the price. The sandwich was not flavorful, was not spicy, did not contain enough chicken, and tasted overcooked. The fries also seemed overcooked and lacked flavor. It was not a good value. You could drive a little farther down the road to Dave's Hot Chicken and get a more flavorful meal, a larger portion, and a lower price. This review feels harsh, but I am hoping it comes across as constructive criticism if management happens to read it. Overall, I cannot recommend ordering takeout from Barley and Vine. I cannot recommend the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich, and I do not particularly recommend the fries either. They were not absolutely terrible, but they were not great. I am still hoping to visit Barley and Vine again. I will likely avoid ordering takeout because it has consistently been a poor experience. However, I hope we have a better experience the next time we dine inside, and I will definitely be ordering something else.
