It's wine time!
Brian O.

Solid 5s all around. Got to try a variety of reds, whites and a rose. The first white the bomb shell blonde was so good that I bought a bottle. Very relaxed atmosphere, Josh was great and a bonus easy on the eyes also. I also found some great purple wine glasses I wanted to buy but they were display only. I will be back. Cheers!

Small little boutique tasting room that offers several wines from different vintners. They have another location in Sedona, this one is a bit cuter. The wines we tasted were pretty good, our favorites being Heart Wood Heart 2017, Wagon Wheel Petit Sirah and a Chocolate Mint dessert wine. Some of the whites and sangrias were good as well. Our server was adorable.

Truly had such an exceptional time at Vino Zona! We (my partner, and a very close visitor friend from Costa Rica) went there unexpectedly on a trip to get through to Sedona, we decided to take the scenic route through Jerome and forgot it was a holiday weekend and that it would probably be so full. If you haven't been, Jerome is a little gem of a place, known as a Ghost town and founded in early 1899! Gives such a small town feel and it's a great part of the appeal. Because it's such a small town, parking can be sparce so Vino Zona actually has some spaces that are marked for this spot only - and of course, we wanted to just park already and enjoy the town so we parked and walked on over to it. The owner, Ginger, did such a great job of providing stellar wine choices, experience, recommendations, and we walked out with a single barrel dark chocolate cherry wine that's frankly, the best chocolate wine I've ever had in my life!!! The wines she carries are all Arizona grown and she made sure to tell us that her spot is farm to table and that she did the most in making sure she supported local, and especially women owned wineries and wine makers alike. It has a nice 'sitting at home' type of feel, some cute decor, (even the bathroom was so adorable, I should have taken my phone to snap some pics because it was just that cute) and she does her best to socially distance in the shop also. She asks folks to wear masks and she wears one also and does not take it off. For the red wines she poured us (We started with some delicious white, and the rest were red) she used this unique glass bulb (I'd never seen, silly wine noob) that allowed for a nice pour and no spillage. We sent our Costa Rican friend home with one of these to impress his friends with (post-pandemic hopefully of course). I can't say enough about our experience there, the delicious wine that we had, the courteous service, the lovely communication there, and above all the beautiful memories we were able to experience together. For all three of us there was a sitting fee and she had a check-in discount for 1/2 off of that fee but she said she may not keep that on there. Snatch it up before she removes!

Friends and I were headed to Jerome for the day to get out of the valley and I saw on Groupon that there was a wine tasting for Vino Zona on sale, so I went ahead and got that for us. We arrived at Vino Zona around 12pm on a Saturday, there was one other group inside so there was plenty of space between us and the door was roped off until one of us left. Our wine tasting allowed us to try out 5 different wines and each wine is locally made in Arizona. We tasted Arizona Angel Moscato, Arizona Sunset Rose, Arriba Sangria (a prickly pear & passion fruit sangria) Viva Sangria (Peach sangria) and Arizona Angel Dark Chocolate (red). I enjoyed learning about all the local wineries and now know I need to get out more. My favorite out of all them was the Rose and Arriba Sangria, although all the wines we tasted were perfect. Do stop by Vino Zona when in the Jerome area and learn about our local wineries and try some and take a bottle or two home!

Love this little cute place. Customer service was great and very welcoming. My niece took me here to get their Chocolate Red Wine - I think haha. AND it was amazing. I opened the bottle on Thanksgiving and had it with pumpkin pie. I would totally go here again when I'm in the area.

Vino Zona should be your first stop on your wine tasting tour in Jerome! An amazing selection. Josh is super knowledgeable and friendly. And the VIEW is spectacular!

We had a Groupon that gave us a great deal on two wine tastings at this cute little shop in Jerome. The owner asked us each what type of wine we enjoyed and then she created a tasting menu of five wines each to try. I chose sweeter type wines and my husband opted for some dryer varieties. With us getting different types, we were able to share the tastings and try ten of them. The owner was knowledgeable about the various wines which were all made in Arizona, some right around Jerome. We ended up purchasing a delightful sangria to enjoy once we got home. The shop was decorated tastefully, with interesting items all around. It was a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Such a cozy and warm artsy atmosphere, so welcoming. I love that they curate tastings of Arizona wines to your pallets- so your experience will be unique. Out of my five wine tasting I loved each one and had to make a hard decision of which to purchase. Love this place and will be back!

Great experience wine tasting all Arizona wines! Not your typical experience, the lovely owner actually hand-picks wine from all over the state and picks her favorites! Try some interesting wines and you won't be disappointed!! One person in our group tried all of the sweet wines and one did mostly reds. We were both impressed with all of the wines! Forgot to add - my friend even had a wine that tasted like peanut butter and jelly! If you go for the sweet wines, be ready for some interesting finds!! The place itself is adorable and offers a great view on the valley!

Of all the places we went in Jerome, this one was most memorable and favorite. In fact we loved the wine tasting SO much that we returned to the Sedona, AZ tasting room (equally worth visiting) after our experience in Jerome. In Jerome, the owner, Ginger, came across not only as an amazing human and wine Expert, but as someone who truly dedicated her life to wine making and wine industry. From Europe to Arizona, se understands the ins and outs and boy was it fun and enlightening to learn about these unique - nowhere to be found - small batch Arizona wines from her. I hope that I get to come back here again! Would recommend that you check out his wine tasting room.

Great wines. Some of the most unique I have ever tasted. Ginger is a great host. Ask her about her Air BNB.

Ginger was very knowledgeable about wine and we had some great conversation while also learning about the wine!

There are places you go for the wine. And then there are…read moreplaces you go for the people--and somehow the wine tastes better because of it. Caduceus Cellars, perched improbably in the bones of Jerome, is one of those rare joints where hospitality is not a script, not a brand exercise, but a lived, practiced craft. The kind you don't learn in a seminar. You earn it over years of showing up early, pulling shots, wiping counters, listening to locals, and remembering faces. We walked in right after opening--early, quiet, the town still rubbing the sleep out of its eyes. And then something extraordinary happened. Allen looked up, smiled, and recognized us. Not from last week. Not from last season. From eleven years ago. That kind of memory stops you in your tracks. It's not clever. It's not performative. It's human. It says: you mattered the last time you were here. From there, the hour evaporated. Life, travel, how Jerome has changed and how it hasn't. The ebb and flow of a town that's been rich, abandoned, rediscovered, and reimagined more times than most American cities ever will be. Brian and Allen don't rush you through a tasting--they invite you into a conversation. The wine is the anchor, but the exchange is the point. Before the cellars, these two ran what many locals still swear was the best café in Jerome. That's where they learned the real trade: how to read a room, how to listen, how to make people feel welcome without making a show of it. Coffee and espresso are brutal teachers--there's nowhere to hide. That discipline carries over beautifully here. And the wine? It's the kind that demands attention without demanding obedience. Thoughtful, expressive, unapologetically rooted in place. You come for what may very well be the best wine in the West--and you stay because someone remembered your name. Caduceus Cellars isn't just a tasting room. It's a reminder that the soul of travel isn't novelty--it's connection. Go for the wine. Stay for Brian and Allen. Leave with the feeling that, somehow, Jerome remembers you too.

The butternut squash agnolotti was presented well but it had no seasoning. I actually had to ask for salt and pepper but it did not help. It had no taste. The chicken parmesan also had no taste. Some seasoning of the food would be great. The lamb lollipop chops appetizer was good but the chops were so very small. The calamari was ok, needed more flavor again. The only item that was good was the gnocchi. It was seasoned well and a nice dish. The salads were also good. Its such a beautiful location but I would not go back for more then salads and maybe an appetizer. I hope they work on their seasoning.

This place is not looking to slam out every table rather let folks enjoy the experience, sit back, relax, live in the moment. For some, speedy service is necessary. Not always the case for us - thankfully not the case this evening. The table next to us were celebrating a 30yo's bday and complaining to the manager about slow service until they got comp'd... then we heard the guy complaining that his cc was maxed out... - food is locally sourced, much of it owned by the owner so the prices are VERY unexpectedly reasonable.
