I didn't realise that Océanne opened a second store location in 2021 in the Pinecrest mall on the east side and they also now have a Westlake location (Crocker Park Mall) which opened in 2024. This first location in the Gordon Square neighbourhood of Cleveland opened in October 2017. ITEMS -- They sell various items from vegan nail polish, cute shirts and dresses, candles, mason jar cups, hats, books, sweaters, baby clothes, and of course, jewellery. Their jewellery is made right there, in-house. Customer service was wonderful when I first visited in April 2023 - the employee working answered my questions and she was very friendly. I visited recently again in December 2024 just to browse the store but I didn't buy anything. The Femme Libre (free woman) t-shirt looks cute. Street parking is plentiful in the area. From older books to sets of glassware (that were stunning but I had no particular place for them at this point) to a little bit of everything in between. You can tell the owner put a lot of love and thought into the curation. The owner's mom was manning the desk when I was there and she was lovely. After the initial heartfelt hello I was left to browse in peace which is always my preference. I'm always here for a conversation but it's always easier to have at the end of my browsing whether I've bought anything in particular or not. Given the nature of the business I would assume there's quite a bit of turnover in the stock and I'm curious to come back and see what's new-to-me.

I was very excited to visit and shop at this small business store as the owner had a children's…read moreboard book that I was giving as a shower gift and unfortunately no one else was carrying it. I was taken back to see her NO ENTRY WITHOUT A MASK sign on the front door. I briefly thought that perhaps the owner just had not taken the sign down from over a year ago. I entered the store and was just standing in front of the door looking around at all the beautiful items that were for sale. A woman come forward from the back of the store and stated we don't allow entry without a mask and proceeded to direct me to the little mask station she had set up to the right of the store. I was shocked and taken back! All the lies and propaganda came running through my gut again and I simply stated "I do not buy that narrative", and turned around and walked out unable to purchase the book set. She has a right to set restrictions as I have the right to not comply. If she is that ill or sensitive to germs perhaps she would be better staying home or having customers order online. My sense is that continuing these restrictions will cause her business to fold as there was not one other soul in the store. My experience was not positive and I will not recommend this particular establishment. Such a huge disappointment and shame. Good luck Paisley Monkey. You are very woke and may go broke.
