I had the Gardener sandwich. It was decent, it was nicely vegetarian. Flavor was ok, could use a different sauce to make it better ; the yogurt sauce was plain. The tomato fennel salad was clean and fresh and delicious but the serving was really small. I had an iced latte with almond/coconut milk and that was very good. I got the turkey pannini to go for my partner and she said it was very good! I also got the chicken melt for my daughter off the kids menu. She said was ok but needed sauce, but she was happy for the big cookie it came with. Really nice interior to the place and good outdoor seating. read more

I love this place for coffee and my favorite sandwich in Montgomery. Martha's Melt is such a delicious sandwich. I order it on sourdough. Such a treat and I normally do not order a sandwich. They have all sorts of food to go. Worth stopping in. I'm sure there is something you can find here you will love! read more

VERY EXPENSIVE! I went here for a class gathering and ordered a scone and 16 oz white mocha. It cost me almost $16 for 2 items and although the coffee was better than the scone, the environment is much better than Starbucks. read more

Love this place! Had a great Turkey BLT for lunch and took some of those cookies home from the fridge case. The gluten free snickerdoodles are my favorite, they are so soft. Wish more places in town carried them. Also the pimento cheese was so exciting to me because I'm a northerner. Lol. We came here three times during our visit. I'll start with the coffee- Absolute best coffee in town! They brew stumptown coffee, which is a personal favorite of mine. My husband and I are a bit of coffee snobs are really appreciate a great cup of coffee. We look forward to grabbing coffee every Saturday here. In the event that we have a day off during the week we always pop in for coffee. The ambiance/decor- as a disclaimer, we recently moved from D.C. so we have been spoiled with clean and trendy spots. That is exactly what vintage is! The building used to be a bank and still has the safety deposit boxes. Such a cool and interesting touch. They have ample seating which is great. We've never had an issue getting a table on the weekend. The staff is always extremely friendly. They know us by name (and our order) The food- this is our favorite Saturday lunch spot. We almost always grab a sandwich and/or pastry when we stop in. The Turkey panini and Chicken BLT are our favorites. But we've honestly never had anything short of delicious here. They also have some super yummy to go items. The chicken curry salad? (Not sure what it's called) but it's SO good. I would have never thought to grab it before. But after they did a sampling one Saturday that included it, I am hooked! read more

The space is a former bank converted to coffee house, so it's open fairly stark and cool to the senses. Coffee we had was ok, nothing special, 'barista' ? went to place a paper cup in a microwave to warm the almond milk and I pointed to the metal pourers " are you able to steam heat that instead' ? Curious, I thought. We asked for decaffeinated coffee, and server disappeared out back, didn't brew it or use the flash Italian espresso machine in front of us. Ten bucks for two with a tiny fresh baked blueberry scone served dry, no condiments. As observed by others, it's dear for what it is, relative to quality imho. It was 'ok' coffee, just nothing special on a par with 'motel' freebie morning help yerself from the big containers. The scone was beautifully baked and served on a lovely stoneware plate, albeit sans anything to jazz it up (think confiture, cream, a spot of yoghurt) So a 'mixed' performance of sorts, to wit professional baking quality and 'ordinary' other aspects wrapped up in $$$ level. Staff were truly kind and lovely, we enjoyed speaking with them. Parking is easy peasy in a nice neighbourhood called 'Cloverdale'. read more

I accidentally ordered a hot latte instead of an iced one(or maybe I did order it iced and they forgot idk), which I'm not a big fan of hot coffee. I was in a huge rush and didn't have time to ask for it iced and I'm too timid to ask anyways, so I took it and left. I figured I just wasted my money but I took a sip and omg it was sooo good!! It tasted like the coffee my grandma used to make when I was a kid and didn't taste burnt or too strong or not strong enough! So I definitely recommend getting a hot latte with almond milk and vanilla read more

I was in Montgomery with friends. We went to your the Justice Legacy Museum and Memorial. We went to old Cloverdale to have lunch. The Vintage Cafe is inside an old bank. The counter is lined with safety deposit box fronts. Very clever. I had salmon and the tomato basil bisque. Both delicious. My friends were happy with their lunch also. Give it a go. read more

Classy, attractive, bistro style lunch place. The salads and sandwiches were beautiful. I have to be honest that I wasn't really impressed with my espresso. I love coming here in the mornings. The coffee is great and I love the non-dairy options. The pastry selection is also really good. There are plenty of vegetarian options for the mornings and afternoons which aren't limited to just salads. It's definitely one of my favorite spots to come for coffee and to work from my laptop. Deemed a "coffee shop," dont miss the opportunity to visit here for lunch. The menu looked great overall, but I settled for the Cuban sandwich. After eating it, I asked to speak to the one responsible for making it. I met her and told her it was one of the best sandwiches I'd ever eaten! Truly! I capped it off with a hazelnut latte to go, which was also fantastic. Please dont miss the opportunity to experience this place. Stopped by the Vintage Cafe on our way back from the beach, and we were blown away by the tasty sandwiches and salad we grabbed for lunch! Eating gluten and dairy free on the road can be difficult, but we split a turkey panini on gluten free bread and a market salad (asked for no bleu cheese). The panini was quickly demolished, as evidenced by the photo, but the bread was perfectly toasted and it was a solid sandwich. We loved the fig vinaigrette on the salad, as well as the sun-dried tomatoes. Another member of our party enjoyed the pastrami sandwich. Stopped in for a double espresso. The vibe is great. Didn't try the food but it looks very good and the pastries were very tempting. Their beans come from Stumptown Roasters, which is a solid choice. My only complaint is that my double espresso cost $6. That is way too high; I've had Stumptown brewed by highly skilled baristas in coffee shops in Seattle for half that price. I would definitely stop in for coffee again, but feel strongly they ought to adjust their straight espresso price to be more reasonable. read more

This is a great coffee shop. The coffee is great, and since it is in the building of an old bank, the whole atmosphere and setup is pretty neat. It's very spacious which is really nice because some coffee shops can be setup where everything is too close together. This one is not. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I rarely leave reviews on places. The place is gorgeous but the staff sucks. Very unprofessional. If I were you and you were looking for a place to host a party I would reconsider !!!!! I had my bridal shower here and had back and forth with the staff that is allllwaayyyssss on vacation! I received what they say are FREE table clothes that were wrinkled. Regardless of it being free who wants there event to look like trash ! I was promised to have the set up before my event however there was nothing done which left me to set up. Not to mention the food came out the minute when my guest arrived. They promised to have music playing as this is something they have anyway? You guessed it IT WASNT THERE.The contact person I was speaking with or even in a meeting with wasn't even at the event. I felt so bad for the ONE girl they had to help with a group of 40 she was barely able to keep up and she kept apologizing for THEIR shortcomings.
