First time visiting and wow... this place is way bigger than we expected. It's basically two huge side-by-side hangars full of stuff, plus even more items outside in the alley between them. You really need time for this place. We definitely came without enough time or the right "shopping mood" and already said we'll probably come back another day with more patience and more exact ideas. Some items felt overpriced for the condition, at least to me, but maybe the prices aren't final. I'm just not the type of person who negotiates Even if you don't buy anything, it's still fun to walk around and look at everything. If you're an interior designer or just into vintage furniture/decor, this place is probably heaven. One small disappointment for me personally -- I didn't see any vintage stoves. That's weirdly my dream item Although honestly for real cooking I still think induction wins.

What a great place to spend some time thrift shopping, So many great rooms full of vintage furniture and beautiful art. The lady that owns this place is so nice and easygoing. Parking lot is on the premises. Many treasures to be found at Vintage Junktion and I asked for a price reduction on a bundle and she gave me a discount.

Lots of good finds to be had. Sometimes a little pricey but some items are worth it. You might have to wait to checkout as you are often getting realtime pricing - many items aren't labeled. The scale of this place however makes it a fun spot to hunt as there are a plethora of options. Definitely worth a trip!

Everything is over priced. Priced for a museum not to sell. If you're brown get ready to be followed.

I found a cool vintage ships binnacle that was converted into a lamp that I plan on polishing up and returning to a compass.. prices overall are fair some items can be pretty pricey, but they are in very good condition overall.. I definitely look forward to coming back to this Place soon. If you find an item that you love, but don't have room in your vehicle they do deliver with added cost.

And a lot of antiquities focused on large scale decoration. One one hand, there are some beautiful pieces. The light fixtures are pretty impressive in their variety of age and style. It seriously gave me the "Damn, I wish I had a big house to decorate." Ultimately, though, that's why this place doesn't quite work for me. There are tons of things to look at, antique barber chairs, long dining tables, stamp dispensers from the 50's and Neo-Classical statuary. Fun eye candy. But the price point for almost everything is for the wealthy homeowner or the professional interior decorator. Even at the Mart Collective in Venice, which is a high end antique mall, had some things that were very reasonable (I bought some beautiful brocade pillows there). Here? Not so much. So, fun to rifle through if you're into antiques, but unless you have some fairly serious cash, not a lot of actual shopping opportunity.

Memento Mori is a slice of oddities and curiosities of all kinds for sure... From smoky quartz, amethyst and incenses to your accessories, skeleton keys and figurines to books, nooks and break in case of emergency vampire emergencies. They have some fun vintage movie posters, including in magnet form in the mix I'll definitely be back for! This Hollywood hidden gem sits pretty much by itself across from the Amazon Prime Experience theater off Wilcox Avenue/Sunset Blvd between Sunset and Selma Avenue. Street parking (meter), local parking garages and lots or the metro (a short stroll from Hollywood/Vine) are your foeful friend. Great customer service and so many attentions to detail displayed throughout their entire store. One thing I truly enjoyed/enjoy about Memento M. is their support of others, including several look clubs, organizations and events like the iconic She's in Parties goth night event every 4th Friday of the month. Open from Noon (12pm) to 6 daily, Thursday through Tuesday, with the exception of Wednesdays when they rest (are closed).

I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.
