Took me a while to write this review, but let me just say the service and craftsmanship here is top notch. I've had 2 cars done here and every time the service was great and quality of the product is fantastic. One time I even had a defect in a small area of tint and they replaced it with no issues. Can't recommend this place enough!

Vip was recommended to me by a friend, I reached out and got a very quick response from Robert. He answered all my questions and gave me a breakdown of services so I let him know I would be taking my car in within the next week. I stopped by before work just looking to possibly schedule an appointment to come in and to my surprise they said they would take me that same day! My tint was done within an hour and half, it was super quick, great quality, my car looks great, it definitely was long overdue for tinting. The lifetime warranty is also a plus! Thank you guys for squeezing me in and for the awesome service! I will be returning

The owners response is disingenuous and misleading. Yes I waited a year and half, and in my original review I explained why. I gave you plenty of time to make good on your promises which unfortunately you never did, not even a follow up call. You made zero effort except to Deny, Deflect and Depose here. NOTE: The majority of reviews are not organic but solicited by Robert in exchange for a discount. A business that has to "Buy" positive reviews is questionable at best. Your attempting to refute my claims and deflect blame is abhorrent, speaking volumes about your lack of character, integrity and professionalism. 27 years in the business? I wouldn't brag about that considering how you've handled all this. That is not the flex you think it is. It's clear Robert you have no idea what you're talking about, are intentionally being deceitful, or confusing me with another person. I can't recall ever meeting your father, and I certainly wasn't having cash flow issues when I spent $56,000 cash on 2 Rovers within three months. There was not ever an issue with my phone or being able to contact me unless the issue was on your end. Fact is, I'd had this number since appx 2014, it wasn't new or recently changed as you're implying. It's par for the course you'd be deceitful about that. I did not bad mouth a previous business, I have no idea who did the work. I had just purchased the 2012 vehicle for cash from a private party. Regardless, I'm allowed to be unhappy with poor quality work and shame on you for suggesting otherwise. There was no 2005 Land Rover it was a 2006 and that is important because it's another point showing a lack of attention to detail, and brings into question the half-truths and misleading statements you're making just to suit your narrative. The pattern here is you lying, attempting to deflect, gaslight and shame me while you seem oblivious, lacking self awareness that your accusations are projections of your own behavior. You're absolutely responsible for getting water in my door lock module (on the inside of the door, behind the door panel). Your guys were rushing, having a hard time with the steamer removing the old tint, and having called employees in from your other location you still couldn't get it done on time. I mean, 27 years and you can't schedule properly? Please explain again how I'm at fault for your inability to properly schedule and manage your team? When I picked up the vehicle from you the alarm kept going off because the door lock module was waterlogged. As you well know the issue did not exist prior to drop off. At the time I wrote a long thread on RangeRovers.net documenting exactly how you damaged my vehicle, I went into great detail (as well as explained to you, not my fault if you're incapable of understanding) how it was damaged and what I had to do to repair it. At dealer rate it was at least $2300 of billable time, thankfully I was able to save the module or I'd have pursued other action. Based solely on the quality of work you did I'm sure I'm more qualified on this than "your guy". For the same reason It's easy to see why I wouldn't have faith in anyone you would refer me to. I happen to have more diverse experience than the average dealer tech and use the same specialized tools the dealer does. Word of warning to other customers, you don't ever take it to "their guy" as it is a conflict of interest. "Their guy's" whole job is to refute your claim and side with them. You demand a neutral 3rd party that you can select and they pay for it. There are legal remedies to enforce this. Don't fall for the "my guy will fix it" scam. Robert, a professional business takes responsibility for their mistakes. So let me ask you, in your response do you feel you owned your mistakes ? Because, all I see is deflection, gaslighting and refusal to admit that you damaged my vehicle, instead being deceitful and manipulative, trying to shame me. In which you've shown everyone your true colors with your own words and actions (pictures attached). I spoke with one of our lawyers about your tax scam and she agreed it is unethical and urged me to report you to the franchise tax board. If I'm lying you're welcome to sue me for libel and we can settle this in civil unlimited court. It would be great to get this all documented on the public record so there is no confusion and you can no longer twist the facts to suit your narrative. Fair warning: The countersuit I would file will more than likely allow me to take all your business assets which at a minimum will put you out of business and also stop you from deceiving others. Until then this isn't the hill you want to die on, you're woefully unprepared, reeking of ignorance like someone who hasn't showered in 27 years. Robert, I fear your father failed you. You have to be honest with yourself, before you lie to me.

I am very pleased on the work that VIP Auto Customs performed on my car, wife's & daughters. I had them install the 3M color stable on all three. Once I arrived I was greeted and explained again the type of film I was purchasing and Robert Jr was very confident on the product he was selling. Found them on Groupon and they did a great job. I went with the 3m color stable 20% so right under limo, because it looks good and is slightly easier to see out of at night. Overall, it appears to be of expectational quality no bubbles or issue spots. Took about an hour and forty-five to do all 9 windows and a windshield strip. read more

Went in for a tint job on a new car. The front windows were not installed correctly, the tint had scratches. Reached out after the week waiting to see if it resolved itself. Brought it back in and they replaced the bad tint at no additional cost. Only putting 4 stars because it would have been better to not have to return or wait another 5 days to use the front windows. read more

What a great experience we had with this place. It was a day before our baby was born and they were able to see us the same day and get the car tinted before the baby came. I spoke with Robert and he was very professional and was not pushy like a lot of other tint places. The car was done in a few hours and we were on our way. Being from the UK I'm not used to tint or its benefits. I found VIP Auto via Groupon and gave them a call. I spoke to the owner Robert, he was patient, informative and invited me to the shop for an explanation of tint and how different types worked. My wife and I visited Robert, met his son and some of the team. Everyone was very friendly, informative and we didn't feel pushed into anything at all. Robert gave us an awesome deal and we went to think about it. I called a few times to ask questions and he answered everything fully. We finally just completed the tint on my wife's car and we are very pleased with the outcome. Robert and team did a great job, great price and lifetime warranty!!!! Somewhere along the lines I heard the pricing wrong. I called several places and they all told me the same price. So when I called here and thought I was told 175. I was excited even if it was only 5 dollars off! When it was time to pick up my car, he told me it was 275. I was like no you said 175. I told him I must of heard wrong. But the only reason I chose you was I tought it was a better deal. So thankfully he only charged me 220. I was grateful for that! Not to mention the awesome job he did with the window tint! Even helped fixed my daughter's carseat! I didn't even get his name but thank you! Thank you for being so nice! Made my day! Definitely will recommend this place! read more

Stopped by because I was in a bind. Had some issues with a roll up tonneau cover that I bought online. I explained the issues to Robert. He told me that they could probably help out and get it to fit my truck with the possibility of modifying my bed rail caps. What needs to be done needs to be done, since I couldn't return it. Knowing that they had me and I needed it installed, I was ready to get hit with an outrageous install fee. I was wrong, Robert charged me their going rate. His tech, sorry I forgot his name, did an awesome job. Not only did he get the cover installed, he didn't have to cut anything. I'll be taking my son's truck back so they could do a tint job later this week, which Robert gave me a discount. Their customer service was beyond great. Thanks again. read more

The best tint shop around I took my Tesla here when I bought it and they did an amazing job, the work was fast while also delivering great quality. The employees were very friendly, I was over all very impressed I decided to bring our second car there and they still delivered 100%. I drove all the way from Rancho Cucamonga because it is so hard to find tint shops that can deliver quality and these guys are did just that. Great Serivce!!!! Came here to get my windows tinted and was helped by Robert. He was able to answer all questions clearly and made me feel confident with my decision to get my new tacoma windows tinted at his business. This business has great sales tools and technology to give examples on their tint. They have a computer that has makes and models of the vehicle you bring in and how it will look with any shade. Also they have a great tint display giving examples and how the deference between the basic tint and the higher grade tint can block heat. This made me understand what I was paying for. On top of everything with the great customer service and quality work. The guys who installed my tint took it upon themselves to run the wire for my dash cam into the truck neatly. I had it just hanging and wrapped all over the sun visor. I didn't ask for that, they did that free. Thanks guys! read more

Excellent service and a great job on the tinting. I brought in my brand new Mercedes AMG GT and had tinting put on all the windows as well as clear ceramic coating for my front windshield. The front windshield had some small bubbles that didn't dry up after a few days. They quickly replaced the entire windshield coating at no charge and even upgraded the ceramic coating. Excellent service and a great job on the tinting. My car looks great!! Thank you. read more

Update: lowered my car there. Initially the front was higher than the back, was told would settle and be even. Did not occur, so had front lowered and was told lowered to the max. Became extremely bouncy. Was told should get new springs or different coilovers. All 4 sides looked awful, you could tell each were at different heights. Called manufacturer and was told this should not occur and bring to different shop which I did. New shop lowered front and back evenly, told me the coilover was adjusted improperly (should adjust the body, not the spring) and now the stance is perfect. I am so disappointed with vip customs. Also their cost is so high compared to other shops read more

Flawless, clean, professional work that completely transformed the look of my Tesla. The difference driving home was immediate. Brought my car here to get some mods put on my Challenger. Spoke with Robert Jr before going in and he was so super friendly. Had me send him pics of my car and the parts I wanted installed then gave me an estimate and we made an appt on the next Saturday. I arrived at my appt time and Chris and Tony started on my car immediately. The work I wanted done was to install a side skirt, rear diffuser and a black dodge badge on my trunk. Chris and Tony wanted to make sure everything was done right. Super nice guys and they did such a great job. Everything came out perfect! They have an area with a couch where you can sit and wait. I felt like I was hanging out with friends instead of just waiting to get my car done. Very fun and satisfying day. Impressive team and outstanding service! We recently had our son's new Tesla Model Three adorned with tint and gun metal grey logo wraps, and the results were truly impressive. This marks our third experience with VIP, and it has consistently been a delightful journey. I had an excellent experience with VIP Auto Customs. They were very responsive and were able to tint both of my cars the same day I called. The whole crew at the shop was so humble and took care of thE Tesla model 3. I had recently just installed a clear bra with another ppf installer and he had left a lot of defects on the film.
