Took me a while to write this review, but let me just say the service and craftsmanship here is top notch. I've had 2 cars done here and every time the service was great and quality of the product is fantastic. One time I even had a defect in a small area of tint and they replaced it with no issues. Can't recommend this place enough!

The owners response is disingenuous and misleading. Yes I waited a year and half, and in my original review I explained why. I gave you plenty of time to make good on your promises which unfortunately you never did, not even a follow up call. You made zero effort except to Deny, Deflect and Depose here. NOTE: The majority of reviews are not organic but solicited by Robert in exchange for a discount. A business that has to "Buy" positive reviews is questionable at best. Your attempting to refute my claims and deflect blame is abhorrent, speaking volumes about your lack of character, integrity and professionalism. 27 years in the business? I wouldn't brag about that considering how you've handled all this. That is not the flex you think it is. It's clear Robert you have no idea what you're talking about, are intentionally being deceitful, or confusing me with another person. I can't recall ever meeting your father, and I certainly wasn't having cash flow issues when I spent $56,000 cash on 2 Rovers within three months. There was not ever an issue with my phone or being able to contact me unless the issue was on your end. Fact is, I'd had this number since appx 2014, it wasn't new or recently changed as you're implying. It's par for the course you'd be deceitful about that. I did not bad mouth a previous business, I have no idea who did the work. I had just purchased the 2012 vehicle for cash from a private party. Regardless, I'm allowed to be unhappy with poor quality work and shame on you for suggesting otherwise. There was no 2005 Land Rover it was a 2006 and that is important because it's another point showing a lack of attention to detail, and brings into question the half-truths and misleading statements you're making just to suit your narrative. The pattern here is you lying, attempting to deflect, gaslight and shame me while you seem oblivious, lacking self awareness that your accusations are projections of your own behavior. You're absolutely responsible for getting water in my door lock module (on the inside of the door, behind the door panel). Your guys were rushing, having a hard time with the steamer removing the old tint, and having called employees in from your other location you still couldn't get it done on time. I mean, 27 years and you can't schedule properly? Please explain again how I'm at fault for your inability to properly schedule and manage your team? When I picked up the vehicle from you the alarm kept going off because the door lock module was waterlogged. As you well know the issue did not exist prior to drop off. At the time I wrote a long thread on RangeRovers.net documenting exactly how you damaged my vehicle, I went into great detail (as well as explained to you, not my fault if you're incapable of understanding) how it was damaged and what I had to do to repair it. At dealer rate it was at least $2300 of billable time, thankfully I was able to save the module or I'd have pursued other action. Based solely on the quality of work you did I'm sure I'm more qualified on this than "your guy". For the same reason It's easy to see why I wouldn't have faith in anyone you would refer me to. I happen to have more diverse experience than the average dealer tech and use the same specialized tools the dealer does. Word of warning to other customers, you don't ever take it to "their guy" as it is a conflict of interest. "Their guy's" whole job is to refute your claim and side with them. You demand a neutral 3rd party that you can select and they pay for it. There are legal remedies to enforce this. Don't fall for the "my guy will fix it" scam. Robert, a professional business takes responsibility for their mistakes. So let me ask you, in your response do you feel you owned your mistakes ? Because, all I see is deflection, gaslighting and refusal to admit that you damaged my vehicle, instead being deceitful and manipulative, trying to shame me. In which you've shown everyone your true colors with your own words and actions (pictures attached). I spoke with one of our lawyers about your tax scam and she agreed it is unethical and urged me to report you to the franchise tax board. If I'm lying you're welcome to sue me for libel and we can settle this in civil unlimited court. It would be great to get this all documented on the public record so there is no confusion and you can no longer twist the facts to suit your narrative. Fair warning: The countersuit I would file will more than likely allow me to take all your business assets which at a minimum will put you out of business and also stop you from deceiving others. Until then this isn't the hill you want to die on, you're woefully unprepared, reeking of ignorance like someone who hasn't showered in 27 years. Robert, I fear your father failed you. You have to be honest with yourself, before you lie to me.

Vip was recommended to me by a friend, I reached out and got a very quick response from Robert. He answered all my questions and gave me a breakdown of services so I let him know I would be taking my car in within the next week. I stopped by before work just looking to possibly schedule an appointment to come in and to my surprise they said they would take me that same day! My tint was done within an hour and half, it was super quick, great quality, my car looks great, it definitely was long overdue for tinting. The lifetime warranty is also a plus! There was no pressure to upgrade, but after explaining all the different tints and how much they will keep the heat out we did upgrade. When we got the car it looked amazing. Took my shop in to Robert who was very professional. Took care of my vehicle like it was his own. Speedy service and did exactly what was said. Had my front windshield tinted by VIP. The same day the upper corners where coming undone. Tried pushing them back and hoped they would just stick back to the windshield. Waited a few days and tint was the same. Took it back and basically they squirted more tint solution on the corners to have them stick and sent me on my merry way! My assumption was they would remove the tint and do the job correct but they didn't! They did everything possible to blow off taking responsibility. I will never go back or recommend this place. read more

Just bought a brand new truck and I needed some extra protection on the paint. I purchased a 3m film protection for the hood and fenders. The shop was clean and they had a well set up work area. The staff there was very professional and explained the whole process of the installation. Overall the experience was a positive one and the film came out pretty good, except for few small bubbles. I will definitely consider them for any future mods on my truck.A+++ read more

Do not take ANY electrical to this place in Glendora! 3 times I tried and every time their "tech" has messed it up. First he wired too much power to lights in my car and it start smoking, lights installed on the outside that were suppose to be PLUGGED into a 12v were hard wired to a 12v and does NOT work, & number 3 my subwoofer, wow was that messed up, you do NOT attach electrical like Christmas lights, one cable per speaker....no he couldn't do that, I have no idea were they found this "tech" "professional" but it's not worth the 90$ hour labor! DO NOT TAKE ANY ELECTRICAL!!! read more

Prior to having my tint done here at Ace tint and ppf I had a horrible experience at a local shop that said they were 3M authorized but never gave me a warranty from 3M. If you have 3M window tint you know what I'm talking about. The tint shop will give you their shop warranty but 3M is also supposed to give you one. I wasted time and money at that other shop but hey, you live and you learn. Don't do what I did, go with someone who has years of experience and will not sell you some bs because after seeing the job Rene did and the sorry job the other tint shop did, it was a day and night difference, i would definitely recommend Ace tint and ppf to anyone looking for a shop that has professional workers, great customer service and uses top of the line film.

I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

The repair came out great and it took around two days. Tony came to my house and picked up the wheel. Unfortunately the paint correction did not match the rim and also my tire was leaking where the repair was made (it wasn't leaking even when the rim was dented). So I contacted Tony again to see what he can do. He said the paint came off the machine and that's what it analyzed it as and was willing to do it again so I said sure since the paint came out black instead of blue. He also offered to check on the tire and rebead the seal. So he picked up the wheel again, and this time it took almost two weeks to be done with the repair and this was only the tire portion. He advised that the paint correction would take another couple of days. Honestly just wanted the wheel back since I was out of a car for two weeks already and who knows how much longer it would take to get the wheel back. He came and dropped it off and installed the wheel and the tire is holding air for now, but he did recommend me to just get a new tire if it leaks again which I will do. This time though, when I got the wheel back, it had a new chip near the center which wasn't there before from the original pick up nor the first repair. As far as value and convenience of picking up and delivering goes, I'd say it's fair and beats the competitors. Otherwise, I wasn't too thrilled about the repair. Update: Bumped up one star since tire repairs aren't part of their job description and Tony went out of his way to do it. Leaving it 3 stars due to paint issues and poor communication where I have to ask for updates every couple of days.

Brought my car here to get some mods put on my Challenger. Spoke with Robert Jr before going in and he was so super friendly. Had me send him pics of my car and the parts I wanted installed then gave me an estimate and we made an appt on the next Saturday. I arrived at my appt time and Chris and Tony started on my car immediately. The work I wanted done was to install a side skirt, rear diffuser and a black dodge badge on my trunk. Chris and Tony wanted to make sure everything was done right. Super nice guys and they did such a great job. Everything came out perfect! They have an area with a couch where you can sit and wait. I felt like I was hanging out with friends instead of just waiting to get my car done. Very fun and satisfying day.
