Of those that even bothered responding, this business was the most competitively priced and could get the job done ASAP. VIP Cleaning Services must have purchased competing cleaning service OC Green Clean (of which I was a customer before). Within the past month or so, the quality of this business has really gone down hill. I am moving my review from the OC Green Clean page to this one since VIP is who I have been having major problems with. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They must be under new management because Leonard or whoever was running the OC Green Clean business before had much more tact. Here is the response I received from customer support after I complained about their cleaning crew being late (pasted as is, no adjustments made). "Hello good morning, we offer our apologies with what happened I think it happened because of the schedule change, we will be sure for your next cleaning that will not happen again, I also wanted to comment that your cleaning is scheduled for a studio, and that only includes a bathroom, apparently it is an extra half bathroom and a part as if it were a room, we will have to change its price because it passes the measure of a studio, we would have to add as an extra loft $ 20, we offer our apologies for all The previous times you have had inconvenience with your cleanings, please let us know any question" Not only did they not take the time to check for spelling or grammar, they blame my reschedule for the timing problem and they're now going to charge me more every cleaning. I have been with this company since 2015. It has never come up that my rate should be changed. This "half bath" is literally an empty room that the cleaning crew skips every time they come in because nobody touches it. Its literally pristine. If they would just look at my account, its not listed as a studio, its listed as 1 bedroom. Moreover, the cleaning crew themselves told me there was no excuse for being late. It was their own fault. Save yourself the misery and find a business that actually treats their customers with respect. I've been with OC Green Clean, now apparently called VIP Cleaning, for roughly 2 years. In that time I have had 7 or 8 different teams clean my house, seemingly because this business just cannot hold onto their contractors. In fact, most of these cleaning crews curse management when they visit and ask me to hire them independently. Major Gripes *Always late. Today they were supposed to arrive at 8:30. It's 9:30 and nobody is here. In fact, nobody has even called. I just called management and got a very confused woman on the phone that didn't know how to react. *The cleaning is really hit or miss and depends on your crew. I've had both thorough and terrible cleanings. I just want consistency! Fortunately, nothing was ever stolen and only one thing broken, which management took care of immediately (good on them). *Not flexible. Almost impossible to get a decent time on a Sunday or Saturday if you have to reschedule. *Excuses. Boy have I heard some interesting ones and it looks like some reviewers have too. The team "got into an accident", they "got lost", they "thought it was at a different time", they "ran out of supplies". Occasionally, I'll get the truth and management will tell me they fired a crew or that there was no excuse. Wish I got the truth more often. Some Advice *They need to implement some accountability here. They do have post-cleaning surveys, but management really needs to know when each of their teams arrive at their scheduled cleaning. Why do I have to constantly call them to remind the business their people are late? *Work something out with your teams. Im sick of having to show new teams what needs to be cleaned and what doesn't. Start by making your contractors happier - apparently most really hate dealing with you. I contacted VIP Cleaning Services for help cleaning before and after a party. They were extremely responsive and able to help me with the last minute request. They were able to accommodate my request despite only having a 2 day notice. 2 cleaners were there to clean our 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and help with some of the backyard set up. They did a thorough and detailed job. The blinds, window sills, countertops, and everything else was spotless! They were nice and asked questions to make sure everything was to our liking. I am so happy that they use green cleaning products because my kids and I are very sensitive to regular cleaning products. We hired VIP for our move in cleaning. They were the first response to get back with a quote (within 20 minutes) and a reasonable price. I like that you can do the booking online and select a time and add on what you need done. Two ladies came in on time and spent almost 6 hours cleaning. They did such a fantastic job.
