I should have written this review when I got my car repaired back in November, so this is long overdue! My poor little Honda was hit by a taco truck and needed some work. Since it was a hit and run, I knew I'd be paying my deductible out of pocket and King waived a portion of that. Karly and her team are amazing, providing daily email updates on the status of my repair. She even put up with my rambunctious 6 year old who pretty much tore apart her office while we finished the paperwork. My car was fixed quickly and it still looks great. One night, someone backed into my van while it was parked, and took off. I had it taken to VIP because they had done work for us on our other vehicles in the past. Be aware of false advertising! I saw multiple advertisements in Craigslist advertising "we will waive your deductible" and "no deductible". I contacted King's to get more info on this and found they will only waive -part- of your deductible (which isn't mentioned in any of their advertisements, at all).. the woman I spoke to on the phone said they only waive your deductible up to 12% of the total repair cost (the example she gave me: if the total repair is $3,500, they will only waive $420 of your deductible). FYI: Received an e-mail from someone from this company shortly after posting this review. They said "We have recently made changes to make things more clear and now most of our Yelp and CL ads say deductible assistance or deducible discount"... Yet I saw MULTIPLE posts on Craigslist that were posted today saying "we're offering to waive your deductible so you don't actually have to pay for anything", "***This week only*** we are currently offering to waive your insurance deductible", "The Auto Body Pro's King Collision Center Will Fix Your Car 4 FREE". Even though they acknowledged and apologized for their deceptive advertising, they're continuing to post more advertisements with false and misleading information. read more

Finding the right shop can be tiresome and easily overlooked by many people. Afterall, the wolf doesnt always show his face. In my experience, King Collision was a promise all but deliver nothing experience for my Audi. Upon receiving a big o check from the insurance company, they swiftly resorted to use incompatible aftermarket parts although oem parts were more cost effective. In fact, the shop upmarked the cost of the aftermarket parts and claimed it was their legal right to profit. Furthermore, the shop proceeded to profit the cores of original parts still in functional condition. When the completion date per our agreement arrived, none of the work had been done. In fact, random surveillance showed the vehicle was sitting in an unprotected collecting dust with the bumper off. Based research, the conpany didnt even have insurance in the event of a fire. I consistently called their offices as they refused to respond in writing. I gave them a final warning to clean up or that i would enforce a breach of contract. I gave them 24 hrs. Indicating the time i would arrive to inspect the work. On that date, i walked into the office. The staff quickly scattered to recover the vehicle they had appetently entrusted to a 3rd party i never approved ( the original agreement was the shop would have an in house licensed mechanic do the work or the dealer) It was the worst thing i had ever seen. Although the paint job was half way decent, many components were improperly installed or damaged. The owner claimed they were "detailing to ensure everything was perfect" But when inspected , The hood insulator was completely soaked and falling apart (missing retainers), the bottom retainers at the base of the bumper were missing, the mud flaps werents even installed correctly and barely hanging. The AC system wasnt working. After careful diagnostic, the dealer found the shop never put any ac coolant (completely empty), the hps was incompatible with my make model causing the system to code. The fan harnesses were completely shorted. The trims were improperly assembled or didnt fit the 3rd party bumper they bought. All in all. It was a disaster. I couldnt wait to get out of there. If anyone has any question about the integrity of these statements..id he happy to share images , invoices and statements. Heres what you need to consider before considering these animals 1)Theyre not qualified to handle imports. 2)They dont deliver as promised 3)They dont have fire insurance (2015) Look at their workspace..it speaks for itself. read more

My car was involved in a hit and run 2 months ago, and I am so fortunate I came across King Collision. We live all the way out in Montebello, so was skeptical about going all the way out to Reseda which is 35+ miles. We gave it a shot and gave them a call, and I can say it was the best decision I made. From the moment we called, Everly assured us that we would be in good hands and even offered to have the vehicle towed in when we were skeptical about the distance. Once we agreed our vehicle was picked up promptly, and as agreed. Once the vehicle arrived we were also notified. Now I assumed it would be like every other Collision Center, and that I would have to be after them to get updates on the vehicle status, but boy was I wrong. We received emails with updates several times a week and we were always updated on what was taking place. To me communication is key and they delivered in that aspect. We had no information on the other driver, so we we were required to pay the deductible, and to our surprise the King Collision Team was able to assist us with that! The owner is also very involved and was present a few times, he has a great attitude and I can tell he is very passionate about his business. Lastly, to my surprise they took the time to clean the vehicle in and out and it looked amazing!!Not many businesses out there truly take the time to be thorough with their work, and they delivered with that as well. Thank You Everly for making this painful experience more bearable and for taking care of those extra scratches that were not a part of the accident related damages!! While they had the car I asked about a random small dent I had as well as some paint repair to my bumper and since they provided what I thought was a very fair price to fix those items, I had them do that work as well. It's hard to convey the degree of class, comfort, kindness, and expertise that all converge here. Having a tricky headlight cover challenge, I dreaded facing this repair. I stopped by , didn't want to get my car repaired there, cars didn't look good, I detail cars for a living and most of their paint jobs get finished with Orange peel , & they don't even bother buffing, if they do then they do a terrible job. Anyways I thought I give them a shot , but the person giving me an estimate was not very smart , he was telling me a paint job would be 6,000$ when other places were asking 2,000-5000$ , and do waaaaaaay better work than this shop.
