Had a bad experience at this Dental office besides sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half for my appointment. I proceeded to have my initial check up which the dentist pointed out i had enamel erosion, on one tooth. So with that being said, after my appointment, I left uneducated or any kind of preventative measures to protect my teeth from enamel erosion in the future. Which he blamed on my medication. The reason of my enamel erosion in the first spot brought was due to my acid reflex. So I left walking away, uneducated and any preventive oral care. After time went on I started doing Internet research and what I found out that was causing it was as my acid reflex, which has gotten more severe over the time and also more enamel erosion. **I would not recommend this Dentist because due to his lack of addressing oral healthcare to my mouth. So I walked away after my appointment where the Dentist left me hanging due to his lack of advice which as a Dentist is something should do if he was really a good Dentist. All he cared about was the high overhead coming in the office which delayed appointment time waiting. Never went back to the status and never will. read more

My family likes this dentist. However, for braces go elsewhere. I excited since we had been patients for a while an price was a fraction of the cost. Appt were easy to set up. My issue, which I did not press dentist since we trust his expertised was related to my childrens front teeth flaired out. I brought it up to his attention and he gave the reason, which I did not understand. The braces were removed and teeth look like horse teeth flaired out. I thought perhaps the retainers would fix. Neatless to say we gave it time and they look the same. My other child is vigilant about his retainer. Does want his teeth to lool any worst. BOTH KIDS WITH FLAIR TEETH. My daughter goes for a cleaning about 1 year or so later. She over hears a patient complaining about the same concern. So, my daughter inquired about fixing her teeth. She had to pay for braces all over again. Lesson learned, you get what you paid. She is getting 2nd opinion with another dentist/ortho. I will continue to go to Vip Dental. I would have wished the braces situation had a nicer outcome. read more

Don't waste your time or money. My mom went there to get crowns and a root canal and the dentist filed her teeth down to much so the teeth literally broke off inside of the crowns. Now Dr. Jin hoe Joe is demanding more money to try something different when he's the one who messed up. Best dentist in the high desert and I've been to 3. I won't mention the others because they don't deserve this dentistry's positivity. Dr Jo is a great dentist and really digs into my gums which hurt like heck but it just tells me I need to be more thorough in my oral hygiene. The fluoride tastes like blueberry yogurt. The best part of this dentistry is ease of scheduling. They always accommodate my wife grandma and I. I'll be coming here for as long as it's open and will follow them if they ever relocate. Can't believe I haven't left a review yet! My family and I have been going here for years, and I love it here! The front staff are the best and make you feel so welcome and have gone above and beyond to help me. Dr. Joe has made me want to get all my teeth taken care of bc I absolutely never feel any pain throughout the procedures, and im really sensitive to pain. I've recommended a handful of friends, and they share the same feelings towards this place. Yes, it can get busy here, but it's worth it, in my opinion. And it shows how great Dr. Joe is that people line up to see him! My daughter got her teeth pulled when she was about 6 and had a wonderful experience and wasn't afraid to go back. I needed a crown after a root canal and the staff and Dr. Joe worked with me and my insurance so I could afford it. My husband has a broken tooth that got infected, and Dr. Joe fit him in early to get it pulled. Just wow. Dr. Joe is honest and kind as well as the staff. Would not reccomend. Hello everyone I came to this dentist as I have for awhile but not since the mask requirements on.most places at the time, with sensitivity on a small spot near my gums on the outside of one of my teeth. I didn't have an x-ray yet because they were busy and there was a wait for x- rays. My young son was back in the room with me ,wearing a face shield. The dentist came in and asked if my son needed a mask.I informed him he has a medical condition but would keep the shield on.. He walked away and came back with a mask , handed it to me and walked away. Well, he came back to check my tooth without an x-ray yet, looked in my mouth and wasn't tapping, but with force hitting my tooth with a metal handleof something. I could feel my other teeth rattling too. I felt pain after he did that. He asked if it hurt and I said I feel a little pain. He said ok. Then walked out. Very unorganized an unprofessional place. I let the assistant know it was now starting to hurting more.She said she'd let him know. He said it was fine. I left feedback for them letting them know how my tooth was and called them . I never received an call back or an email. I went to another dentist because the pain got worse. I ended up having to get a crown put on my now cracked tooth. I had my teeth deep cleaned by the dentist, Jinho Joe DDS. He did an excellent job and even removed some stains from my teeth. I'm very happy with his work. In the past, none of the other dental hygienists that I've been to have ever removed stains from my teeth, so I had assumed that they were permanent! But now they are gone and my teeth are white again. Also, at my last appointment, he did a great job with my infected molar crown. I have to start by saying I'm a big baby when it comes to dentistry. I have TMJ (my jaw locks open if I get too nervous or stressed) and my whole life going to the dentist meant getting locked jaw then going to the emergency to be knocked out so they can put my jaw back in place. It had been years since I had been to a dentist... My first visit to VIP Dentistry everyone made me feel so comfortable and we're beyond patient. Especially Jasmin! 55$ was quoted off the bat before counseltation. Exam was done and medication prescribed I felt good...... ... Here it comes! I returned and before dentist saw me I was shown all the cost for prosecutes needed. Since I told I couldn't afford them the dentist didn't even want to see me. The infection came back or wasn't quite treated and now they want 75$ for prescription to alleviate mg pain . I'm so in a catch here . Now the girls at front are making me feel bad that I can't afford them. And are patronizing me by saying goodluck at an other dentist ! Well I'm giving them another chance and see if they will give me my antibiotic prescription without the 75$ fee . What happened to the "we care about your smile ... I went to this office on an emergency tooth extracton. That was 2 years ago.let me say I am such a sissy when it comes to dentists. But this place is the best! They are all so great there very friendly. Dr jo is so good with making sure that your not in any pain and does great work on root canals and caps as well as implants and bridges. They will let you come in for emergency toothache and give you pain pills and antibiotics but when they book you to come back they make you wait over an hour cuz they like to get as many ppl as possible and then they make sure they get that teeth cleaning in so they can get paid for that no matter how bad they hurt you. I know it's my fault my teeth are the way they are but why do they have to lecture me and yell at me and tell me I deserve to feel pain? I can't ever go back cuz I am afraid to now and I am just a business transaction to them. They want to pull my teeth but say they can't give me any teeth to replace them well now I need all my teeth pulled and I am afraid to go anywhere now thanks to them. read more

i created this yelp account just so i can write this review for the dentist who ended my long dreadful dentist experience. staff is all friendly , thoughtful & courteous. it's clean office with personal TV screen witn cable! for each station. Doctor is the most courteous of all, takes great care of you with much patience & understanding. it's hard to believe that this kind of service can come with a price less than some other unpleasant dentists. but, it does. WORST DENTIST EVER! She's a liar!! Told me I had 5 cavities in between my teeth from not flossing but I actually floss every night because I am very OCD about my teeth being clean. I thought this was highly unusual since I haven't had a cavity since I was 8. I never even had one during my braces. So I got a second opinion and they showed me my X-rays unlike her and there was NO CAVITIES! Not even a tiny one or a hint of one starting. She just is money hungry and wanted the insurance to pay her. Imagine what she could be doing to little kids for money and scaring them from the dentist forever. read more

If I could give this man negative stars, I would. I went there a year ago and had some work done. He told me to give him a good review on Yelp and he would take money off my bill (should have been a massive red flag) He then proceeded to fill a "cavity." I told him a few days later that it still hurt and he assured me that it was normal because the cavity was so deep (that's never happened to me before. Another red flag) a few months later, the pain was so bad, I couldn't stand it. I made an appointment with a different dentist. The new dentist told me that the filling he did should have been a root canal to begin with. On top of that, she said the filling he did was so large that it was impinging on my nerve. By this point, the side of my jaw was extremely swollen and my tooth was severely infected. I wouldn't send my dog to this man. He's a scam artist asking for good reviews on here for money off of your bill. Do NOT go here. His work is garbage! read more
