Place is nice. I like cozy small bars like this. We went mid day around 2. Drink menu is underwhelming. I had the flowershop and my husband had the expresso martini. Not a true expresso but it was good. Nothing else looked appealing. Lots of tequila options so if thats your jam, then you may enjoy the drink menu much more. Drinks were okay and it was 28$ for 2 drinks which wouldn't be an issue if they were really great drinks. I think it has a lot of potential but we wouldn't come back.

Booze and Belly Dancers…read more About last night at Puff Social celebrating a birthday... This drink was so strong I forgot the name. It tasted like an alcoholic chocolate milk though. So good. Spent the whole day out and ended the night at a hookah bar celebrating a birthday and belly dancing with the Kazan sisters at Puff Social! We took 360 photos courtesy of Funboxxpb. It wasn't very crowded at all. It's a nice looking place. The drinks were very good! It would have been nice to have table service though. Then we went down to the lobby bar and it was pretty packed so we actually sat in some chairs in the lobby area as a staff member recommended. Of course there was no table service there either. It has plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and heat lamps for the cooler winter months. Very spacious. Inside, there's a full bar and restrooms. Tons of room, big dance floor and DJ area. The bar and staff are great. We had a VIP table here for NYE. But it's not just for parties. You can visit here whenever. Often, we will have a celebration dinner of some sort at 1700 Steakhouse downstairs. One time, for Judez birthday, they not only provided us with a bottle of champagne, but then afterwards they escorted us upstairs (10th floor - El Mirardor), and gave us a free drink or two on the rooftop. It's a cool place and worth checking out from time to time!

If you're reading any of my El Paso posts, it seems like everything is right down the street from my hotel. But I digress. So I was super excited to go to this amazing little cigar lounge and bar. When you first enter you are greeted with a very warm and inviting interior, big glass case with all of the cigar accoutrement you could want. Go up to the front counter, if you're going to stay and go upstairs to the lounge which has a full bar, you need to drop off a credit card at the front desk and start a tap. You can put cigars and drinks and what not on there. The humidor is really good sized, tons of brands that I had never heard of before... In fact, the only brand that I had heard of that They carried was Fonseca, which is a damn good cigar in its own right, but I wanted to try something different. After going through the selection, I finally found one that looked good based on the owner's recommendation. One cool thing about this place is the owner is not afraid to sit and talk with you about cigars. We probably had a good 25-minute conversation about different brands and how the market has changed over the years. My friends finally arrived and so we headed upstairs to the lounge. It's a really nice and comfortable leather chair vibe with a full bar, so we grabbed a bourbon, and sat down to enjoy our smokes. We ended up being there for over 3 hours, as it was just such a cool laid-back place to hang out. Lot of people came and went while we were there and the staff was very kind and courteous to them. It definitely made for a fun and enjoying environment Bottom line? If you are looking for a good cigar lounge that also incorporates a full bar you could do no better than to check out this place when you are in El Paso!

But then....today....THAT happened. This place is what I would best describe as....low hanging fruit. As in...low effort, not much to be expected, bar wise. I suppose if you're looking for mixed drinks and hardcore liquor, this is the place for you. But I automatically give a place the ol' red flag if they don't even serve your basic wine selection. We've gone over this. Wine is a pretty common thing to find at a bar. At the very LEAST...your usual suspects (I.E. Merlot, Chardonnay, hell...even White Zinfandel, if you're feeling particularly sophomoric). Ya wanna know what really killed it for me though? The noise. This place is too f**king loud for me to think, much less hold a conversation. I can't quite put my finger on it. But for some reason, places like Clicks Billiards can get this sort of thing right. I dunno what it is, but that place has acoustics that compliment the sound of music without becoming overbearing to the point of not hearing the person next to you. Basically, if I can't even enjoy a conversation with the people around me and I can't even order basic red wine, I'm certainly not hesitating to give a place like this 1 disgruntled, overly anxious patron walking out the front door after just 5 minutes of sheer auditory agony...out of 5. Don't even get me started on how I ended up here in the first place.
