There is a lot of crying in these reviews. This lounge meets and exceeds expectations. Every drink is bottled which is a luxury. Plenty of foods with a cold bar section along with plenty of pastries. Their egg rolls are actually beef and potato pockets. Unlimited soups and a nice tasting egg and cheese muffin. Seating is spread out with a super nice cozy fire, espresso machine with everything you need, coffee related. Plenty of window seating to watch planes take off, land, and deboard. Service is not needed as everything is placed out in the open and you only see the workers to clean up. Restrooms are small but at least there's a restroom. read more

One of my favorite airport lounges because it's clean and not busy. Since this is in Quebec, there's not a lot of travelers at this airport, so the lounge doesn't get crowded. Though we were here on Tuesday so not sure how it is on the weekends. For the most part, the lounge had a lot of chairs and we were able to spread out. It's located at the end of the terminal by gate 29 I believe. It's right by the escalator that goes down to the exit/baggage claim. When you walk in, you will scan your boarding pass and Priority Pass card, then select the amount of guests who will be entering and they will have to scan their boarding passes also. There are no attendants to scan you in like at other lounges. There were 3 hot food items and a salad bar available. There's hard liquor and juices for you to mix your own drinks. If not, there's soda, wine, beer, water, espresso and a coffee machine available. The restroom has one urinal and a private room for the toilet. There is a monitor by the restrooms with flight info. read more

This is the only lounge located at YQB. It is small, and there isn't much food choices. I do like that there wasn't many people.

We came to this lounge through Priority Pass. It was a pleasant place to wait for a flight, but lacked food options most good lounges now offer. They have a small bar with ingredients for salad, including chicken, cheese, and spinach. There is a station for soup and for desserts, as well as an assortment of chips. However, the soup is not dairy free, and the only available options for a gluten free/dairy free traveler is the chips and some of the salad bar. That said, there are a few coffee machines and many options for wine, beer, and liquor. The christmas tree and fireplace are nice, and watching the sun set over the runway was a nice last experience in Quebec. read more

Nicest airport lounge I've been to that isn't an Amex centurion lounge. This place was very clean and not too crowded with a nice view and open space!! They had all kinds of wine, top shelf liquor, beer, and sodas etc that are complimentary. Also their espresso/coffee machine was amazing. Food was good too. Very pleasant lounge just past gate 30 when you're coming from security. The lounge is fresh and modern with comfortable seating. Food selection is good and there's a nice supply of juices, soft drinks, wine, beer, etc. Staff keeps the lounge clean and the supply of food and drinks full. Definitely worth a visit if you're a member, otherwise there's a fee. read more

Spent Thanksgiving traveling from New York to Quebec City and ended up having the Thanksgiving dinner at the lounge. I loved the comfortable seating but wished there was more option for food, at least for vegetarians. I enjoyed the alcohol selection and there were a lot of varieties in the seating which made for a good relaxing stop over before heading into the cold. read more

The young land working in the area of the food/coffee/wine is incredibly rude. She was protecting the prosecco on New Year's Eve like it was her own stash. We asked for one, she told us we would have to wait and then took ten minutes straightening her napkins before she would give us one of the tiny bottles. She obviously hates her job, which I get but don't take it out on your customers. Just so salty about everything. Kinda ruined the experience. read more

As lounges go, this one was pretty deserted. I can see why - I don't suppose they have a lot of flights going through here, and it's a help yourself situation at the bar/snack station. There isn't a lot of choice and the staff are a bit frosty. Not the nicest or best lounge I've been to, but tidy and spacious with a good view of the planes coming and going, so a solid three stars for that alone. read more

I've had Priority Pass for about half a year and this was definitely one of the best lounges that the pass has given me access to. Based out of LA, the LAX Priority Pass lounges have either been very underwhelming in terms of food selection, very restrictive in terms of hours of entrance (KAL lounge) or so crowded that they are closed to Priority Pass holders 3/3 times (Alaskan lounge). This lounge is not too big, but not too crowded either! Food 5/5: had a couple of hot soups, refrigerated salad bar, cheeses, and sandwiches. The soup was so good that I had two bowls! Drinks 5/5: wide variety of bottled alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Also 4 different wines and many hard alcohol all self serve! Decor 5/5: cozy chairs, nice fireplace in the center. Bathrooms were also very clean and serene. The only criticism is that less than half of the chairs had access to power outlets. Definitely a great place to wait for your flight! Also since the airport is not too big, your gate will most likely be close to the lounge. read more

On our way back to NYC after a weekend in town, we briefly stopped by the VIP lounge in YQB. As a Priority Pass member (thanks to the Sapphire Reserve for that), it is pretty straightforward - grab your card, sign the electronic pad, and you can be on your way. It is not a huge lounge, but it is nice to be a bit away from the hubbub (even if YQB itself has a pretty decently-sized terminal and not a ton of traffic through it). The food options are a bit limited, but the soup was pretty solid, and I am a fan of provisioning chocolate chip cookies and brownies, even if they are relatively unremarkable. Perhaps the more impressive part of the lounge was the drink selection; while the beer options are limited (not surprising), there is a solid selection of wine and liquors, depending on your mood. The seats are comfortable, but perhaps the only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the management of the blinds. In the late afternoon, there is an awful lot of sunlight flooding in (at least at this time of year), and if you end up sitting in it like we did, it can start feeling warm quite fast. Having the fireplace on probably contributed to that as well - certainly a nice touch in the winter, but when it is 70 degrees and sunny outside, perhaps it could be turned off... In all - nice lounge, very convenient to security (it is right after it), although if you are at a far gate like we were (in the 30s), you will need to make sure you block out 5-7 minutes to walk at a decent pace to make it to the other part of the terminal. Worth a stop if you have time to kill, although I would maximize the time you spend in Quebec City (if you are not transferring) versus spending more time in an airport lounge. read more

Wow!! Very impressed with the VIP LOUNGE here. It's cozy with a nice fire place, large windows everywhere to see the planes, nice relaxing lounge music, soup, snacks and xmas dessert for this holiday season. The staff is very nice and polite. It looks brand new. Lots of hard alcohol to chose from and wine and lots of drinks!!! And it's self serve, yay, they trust us!!! Can't wait to come again!! Never realized this was here. This is the lounge that Westjet uses. They refused me access because I wasn't flying business class. I am a platinum member of Westjet meaning I get access to any of their lounges with just a boarding pass from any class. Both the lounge and Westjet admit this is an ongoing problem because the lounge doesnt have the updated westjet updated policies. So people are getting turned away regularly. A very frustrating experience and something that both the lounge and Westjet need to fix. Very poor service at Salon VIP. read more

We visited this lounge while waiting for our 6am flight. They have omelette and champagne upon request. There is a charge for a bottle of Moët but you can request for generic champagne free of charge. They even brought out the champagne on ice. Very nice lounge with excellent service! read more

Definitely a great lounge to go to while waiting for your flight. It was very quiet, definitely not crowded. There is a great selection of drinks, including some local spirits (which is definitely a plus), that are all available for self-service. The breakfast food was good, but I would've appreciated a wider selection of fresh produce and some non-dairy milk/yogurt options. More on the plus side: the opening hours are great (opens at 4am!) and the staff was really courteous. Definitely made the wait for our 5am flight less of a pain! read more
