A place that pays attention to the details! I got a gel manicure for $33 and I am very pleased with the results. I worked with Andy and he offered me water, gave a full massage and didn't rush through it. With gel, I always have the issue that it peels off and i communicated that to him and he went above and beyond to make sure he did everything possible to ensure that doesn't happen. He cut cuticles, buffed nails, did triple coat and even quality checked after. I didn't care to chat a lot today and he respected that and it was a such a relaxing visit. I will be back. read more

Went and asked for a dark red holiday sparkly nail, after an hour and a half they then tell me they don't have that color or finish that I specifically showed a picture before starting any service. The tech nicked me during the drilling and my ring finger has a small cut and has been sore for days. When I said this clearly wasn't the color, the tech got angry with me. Finally said just to forget it, they then said the shaping of the nails with no color would be $45, then the manager upped it to $55. After wasting my Saturday morning, I had to go find another salon that did a perfect job. I wish this business would have been honest on the front end that they could not give me what I had asked for, before saying they could then not being able to. I left with half done nails, that had leftover color buffed off of them, and had to rush to find another place ahead of a holiday event. Will never go back here. I have been coming to VIP nail salon for 3 years and they are fabulous!! Everyone is friendly and always accommodating!! I have sent many people there who also love it. I must respond to a view from Joanna L. To expect a free polish change because you did not like the color you chose is entitled! In a service industry All workers should be paid for their service. I overheard her tell the person doing her nails that she wanted a polish change because she did like the color. She did say at that point she wanted it for Free. Only when she went to pay. Everyone that works there were very nice but explained she picked the color and she must pay for color change! No one was rude! She only said that because she did not get it for Free. I was so appalled that she would take money away from the nail tech that I offered to pay for it. They did discount the price for her! You can't order a steak, eat it then go back the next day and say I want a new steak for free because I didn't like the one yesterday! It is sad that she feels so entitled. read more

Everyone here is really nice. Very friendly and accommodating but the work isn't great. I constantly have different length nails, or poorly shaped nails. My biggest pet peeve is the paint job. It's always uneven and the sides of the nail are neglected, as well as the top of the nail (on gel build). I'm so embarrassed for people to look closely at my nails, bc the workmanship is quite rushed and poor. Even when I point it out is like "oh I can't see the side of the nail".. ?? It's pretty expensive. Which is not a problem when the final product is excellent, but its just not. Will need to find a different salon. At least the place is clean?? read more

I was new to town and I made an appointment. When I showed up, a woman giving a manicure to someone else asked (very loudly) what I wanted. I said I had an appointment. She proceeded to yell at me over her client while getting a manicure what I wanted. I said I wanted to talk to whomever was doing my manicure about options. She yelled, well what do you want. By this time the ENTIRE place could hear everything. She didn't seem to understand that I wanted to talk through options. Instead she kept barking at me. I walked out. Will never go back. Absolutely Amazing! Let me start off by saying that I bite my nails and they are disgustingly short. I am a bridesmaid this weekend and needed my nails to look somewhat presentable for it. VIP made my nails look absolutely amazing and had such great customer service. I've been to nail salons where the nail tech basically chastises me for having short nails and it makes the whole process embarrassing. I tried out VIP nails for the first time during my lunch break and got a pedicure. The tech wasn't amazing and had to ask to be harder with massage but she didn't understand me. Unfortunately, the color I picked on the shelf did not look the same once I left and wasn't the bright coral color I thought it was from the bottle. The next day I went and got my nails done and asked if they would fix the color because once I left yesterday I the color was not what I wanted and didn't like it. I expressed I only had an hour to do this because it was during my lunch and Kim said it wouldn't be a problem. The male nail tech was AMAZING. He did my nails beautifully. He also ended up fixing my toe nail color too. When it was time to check out they tried to charge me $15 for a polish change when I was there less than 24 hours ago and came in asking if they would fix it. The receptionist was extremely rude! She said if I picked that color its not anyones fault but my own and I need to pay for services. Kim and another tech ganged up on me agreeing. I expressed where is the customer service? Its not like I went a week without coming back, but I came back the next day, as soon as I could, to get this fixed. Through the back and forth and the condescending comments and rude attitudes I paid $10 plus the nails. Unfortunately, the nail tech missed out because I was going to give him a large tip for him fixing, but how I was treated at the end made me lose all respect for this place. Instead, they lost a customer and have been telling everyone I know. I have asked several people has this happened you picked a nail color at a store or salon and when you left it wasn't the color that showed up in the bottle and everyone has agreed that this should have been fixed by the salon with no charge and attitude towards me. DO NOT COME HERE! Lastly, let's be honest. A pedicure is $30 and a polish change is $15. That is insane! There are many other salons in this area. read more

This was my first time at VIP nail and spa. I was so excited to come here because of the sanitation I read about. Me and my friend came and we received our pedicures. Alison did my pedicure which was nice. She was nice and gentle but I felt my gel pedicure didn't shine like a gel pedicure is supposed to shine. But she was nice. Then I waited 15mins to get my hands done. Kim did my nails and I was far from impressed. That was the quickest full set I ever had. She was rushing that she didn't even realize my nails was shaped properly or paint coat wasn't evenly applied. I was shocked because usually the owners do amazing nails. Kim was nice but she didn't care much for my hands. I will NOT be returning. Plus the price was way too expensive for the service you get. I'm definitely looking elsewhere. Do not go here!! I spent 77 dollars in a pedicure and it looked horrible they redid it and agreed it was horrible made. A week after getting them done the acrylic broke from my pedicure I was not happy and wanted my money back, Kim wanted me to come in for a 3rd time to fix what they did I have gotten cheaper pedicures that last me months. Normally when I'm a walk in, I have a negative experience because they give me the person with the least amount of time ,or the person nobody else wants. As it so happens I had the best experience ever! Everybody there seem to know what they were doing,and the girl I had was extremely gentle and did a fantastic job. It was so good in fact I have an appointment there later on today for my second visit! I found a new home to do my nails, and highly recommend this place to anybody!
