Bill helped me do a refill and helped me pick a color because I was so indecisive. He was friendly, kind and very patient. He really did an amazing job. I usually get my nails done in Chinese nail salons in NYC. This was my first time at a viet salon and I saw a huge difference . All my nail techs in nyc always leave a small part of the side of my nails uncovered by gel. Bill was so meticulous with making sure the sides were covered with gel by using a tiny thin brush. Walked in with no appointment to get a pedicure and a gel manicure on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted by the front desk and they had me sign into their POS (point of sale) system to get started on an iPad. Very easy and efficient, I am linking it already at this point. I then proceeded to their huge wall of color options. Two things immediately stood out to me, 1. All of the colors were arranged by hue and family. 2. The gel polish colors were matched up with their non-gel colors. This makes for an easy selection if you are looking for the matching color but different formula type. I was then brought to the back were my pedicure was being done. This was nice and bright and the chairs and tubs are immaculate. The best part is the pedicure tubs are not like the normal setup, these tubs have individual liners and the jets that circulate the water are also disposable. All tools and instruments were brand new (files and pumice stones) and the tools came out of an autoclave. Very clean and sanitary! My technician was great and very friendly. She did a great job on my toes. I then moved over to Sara to get my gel manicure, she was very nice and did not over trim my cuticles and she used these warm disposable plastic gloves with some sort of cream in them and it was heaven! They are under new ownership , so if you have been there before like i have and was not quite satisfied, it is a now a completely different experience. read more

This is my third visit to this location. Each visit is less thrilling. Each visit, I got a spa pedicure. My first visit was awesome with the best pedicur. The nail tech did a fabulous job, and I was offered a beverage. My second visit wasn't too bad, I had a wait even though I had an appointment, was offered a beverage, and had an ok experience. My last time was a Sunday afternoon, and the place was empty. The staff rushed me over to the pedicure chair, no beverage, the nail tech cut my cuticle, not a relaxing pedicure. service was horrible. nails came out clumpy and crooked when I went in to get them fixed in the middle of getting them redone, they told me that it was going to cost $75 more just to get the same things redone when I asked for a different design. They told me it was going to be $100. i asked why they couldn't fix it or re do it they said they charged me less than they should've and I need to pay the difference. when I said no they then said they can only just paint my nails for the price I paid before. such a sham. horrible service and even worse at doing nails. what makes it worse is they think speaking another language in front of the clients about the client is okay. little did they know I also speak mandarin. jokes on them just like they're a joke read more

Went yesterday with my daughter and granddaughter. Couldn't be more impressed. Cleanliness was super important with my 12 y o granddaughter. Their pedicure chairs are state of the art . Not with jets that are reused with each person. All their instruments are autoclaved. Mavi is an excellent technician. By far one of the worst salons I've been to in regards to both quality of service and customer service. I went in on Friday 1/14/22. My best friend booked the appointment and we went together. Fist time I had seen her in a month. I got Hailey (possible misspelling on her name) I asked for a gel (shellac) manicure and regular pedicure. Pedicure was fine, nothing special, although it was a base pedicure. Manicure came, first thing I notice is that she didn't ask me my preferred length. She just cut my nails... as short as they could go. She didn't ask me my preferred nail shape either and cut them too short to make them oval like I had wanted. She never buffed the nail. Just started putting the base coat on. Which, I'm sure is the reason why my nails look the way they did after 2 days (photos attached were taken Sunday, 1/16/22, afternoon) I spoke to someone on the phone that same Sunday afternoon, mentioned I preferred to have Renee. They said ok, and seemed to be searching for a time to match me with her and they said that they would be redone. I just left my appointment time (2:45pm 1/17/22) and the front desk associate were going to put me back with Hailey to have her redo them. Apparently Renee was unavailable. I asked for someone to just remove the polish. The nail tech I was assigned to was very nice and also very shocked that may nails look liked that after just 3 days. They removed the polish and I walked up front to give a tip to the tech, because they were nice and deserved it. The front desk associate actually charged me for the removal. I was upset to begin with but I know things happen and I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. But to actually charge for the removal after I showed her the condition of my gel (shellac) manicure after just 3 days... I've had gel manicures done every 2-3 weeks for the past 7 years and I have never experienced this. read more

I'm on a quest to find the best mani/pedi in Palm Beach County. So far the best manicure I've had was at the Breakers (of course). Living the Gardens area, I'd like to find someone who at least comes close to this experience (knowledgeable nail tech with a friendly disposition). I stopped by the Tipsy Salonbar for a quick gel manicure. Thankfully, they had an opening with Haley, who did a fine job. My nails look great, however the tech was very curt and not very chipper. At the end of the day, I simply wanted my nails to look nice since recently had a botched pedi at a high-end salon, so this experience deserves high marks simply for her ability to crank out a French manicure effortlessly. I never give places bad reviews but this place was horrible. I came in on Thursday to get a full Set of acrylics, & it was good until the woman doing my nails kept filing way too hard and too much and cutting my skin. Then she didn't cut my cuticles till she was done with my nails and barely paid attention to cutting them & cut them dryly & half assed like she was rushing. Then when I was done drying, she turned her light off and grabbed her things and went to the back & did not say a word. After I tipped and paid and everything. ( waited 12 minutes by her drying fan) she never came back and left my cuticles so bad and cut up and dry and I had to call someone in the front to go get her to ask for cuticle oil which should be standard practice & have got done at every nail salon. then to top it all off 4- 5 days later my nails are already breaking off with the slightest movement. Two broken and one is snapped about to be falling off. I don't believe I should have paid 56$ for a full set of acrylic when it won't even stay on for longer than a week.
