They don't scrape the dead skin off when you get a pedicure. Told me "Callouses are extra." Honey, I don't have callouses, and your little sponge isn't going to get the dead skin off. ONLY pedicure I've had where they do NO exfoliation at all. My feet still look dry, WORST ever. Paid $30 to basically get a half hour chair massage and my toenails painted. read more

Went to VIP several times for a gel manicure. Every time I went, they would leave a gap between the cubicle and nail. I asked them if they could fix it and they said yes. I always got the gap. The man and woman did the same. I think the guy's name was Henry and the lady who sit next to him I forgot her name. They both left a gap. They both seemed in a hurry every time I went. I believe they did this on purpose to get you to come back in sooner than necessary. I was embrassed to show my friends my nails when their's were perfect. I quit going. I will never return under these circumstances. VIP needs to train their staff to do better. What a shame. read more

I just moved from Fort Worth and thought I'd give this place a try for dip and pedi at the same time. The guy that did them was in a big hurry, and burned me twice with the drill. He put gel on top at the end and had to suena lamp/light to cure them. (I have been getting nails done for many years and haven't had that done in several years.) No warm towel, or light had massage. Just oil and he said be sure to wash them before you leave. Not good with customer service. Girl that did a regular pedicure did a nice job with the massage and towels. When I checked out I was charged $5 for removal of the dip in order to put on a new set. Again, after moving from Fort Worth, this is always included for $40. So to get a dip was $45, because you have to have them removed every time! I mentioned this to the girl when I was checking out. I recommend looking to another salon in Cleburne and it's a shame because this place is lovely. OR go back to the big city where they understand customer service and pricing is appropriate. read more

The old lady with short dark hair absolutely destroyed my nails. She caused so much pain the whole time. I asked for a gel change and fill. She filed down into my nail bed so deep that there's a noticeable edge. It it HURT! and she put the bead of acrylic so narrow on each nail that it left a very noticeable edge around each nail. So her solution to that was to dremel the outsides of my nails, including my actual fingers. It was very painful and now that it's been a few days the regrowth is so obvious. It just seemed so rushed and for what? Horrible looking nails. There are dips in my gel because of it not curing between coats. I would seriously question whether she had legitimate training at all. And I didn't have the courage to stop the service because I didn't want to embarrass her. However, the more I look at my nails, the more regret I feel. read more

I went here today because I had a coupon on the FrogSaver App (areas around the TCU area that have deals/discounts) Note: this is the ONLY reason I decided to come here! I went as soon as they opened & was helped right away.. the gentleman who did my gel pedicure did not talk much at all, but listened to me and what I requested. However, the other gentleman who did my gel manicure was absolutely rude! He started to file my nails and the shape he made them was horrible!! I asked him if he could make them more square shaped & he straight up said "no" to me. So I had to go back and forth with him to get him to file them somewhat how I liked them! He ended up making my nails look horrible... and didn't even bother to clean up the polish he left on my skin. Once I finished, I went to the counter to pay & when I showed them my coupon they said I couldn't use it because it was from the "old owners" and they continued to say that they've "tried" to call the app to get it removed but couldn't. They didn't offer me any other type of discount for the inconvenience. I take blame for not calling them before to see if I could use the coupon. I ended up paying $90 for a less than average gel mani/pedi. I will NEVER return to this place again. The job done on my nails was enough to never come back, especially if the nail technician straight up refuses my requested nail shape. I do not recommend this place. read more

So I am so disappointed I should've posted about this right away, but I thought I would turn my cheek an give them another chance. ! I been a regular to this salon for the past 4-5 years. I went in Dec 15 it was a Saturday to get some Christmas nails. Which I posted a picture in the images above. They were dip with 3 colors costing extra for each color an $5 each design (2nails each) which was a do-able design. I wouldn't say her art work was $5 worth. So my nails came to a total of $55 and I got a pedicure that day of $40. So the next day my nail chipped. I wanted to get in to get it fixed, but I couldn't with work, holiday business, am my children. I ended up finally getting in the salon 6 days later and guess what!?!? I had to deal with some major attitude I didn't like from Alice. I tried to be polite an think maybe she just haven a bad day, but she huffed an was showing irritation with me because I wasn't fast enough to pick the colors. Chill out it's your job and I pay you. Your whole job is to please the customer. Well that was when I first got my Christmas nails, when I went to get the one nail that chipped 6 days later. She fixed it by packing it an took her 5 mins. I got certified in nails 10 years ago. An last time I check you don't fix a nail by packing it. That's a quick fix and I wouldn't of cared if she didn't charge me for it. But she did! Am guess what?!? The nail broke the next day same area where she fixed. Which she didn't really fix. Soooo I was sad about that! But then I went back after for the fill and waited 1 hour an 30 mins to be seen. They removed the dip and because I wanted chrome they told me it be 60. So I decided to just have my nails painted with the chrome polish I brought with me. Well the guy who was doing my nails Henry. Told me I have to take a seat and wait for someone else to paint my nails. What??? I waited an hour an half an because I wasn't doing dip you push me aside!!!! Then he tried making the front desk girl paint my nails Gabriela. The front desk!!!! Why? That's not her job! She was annoyed that he even didn't that to her. She said just paint her nails. I felt really hurt and sad the way I was treated as well humiliated after being a loyal customer and bringing them business through out the years. Truly dissatisfied and disappointed on the few employees that were rude an unprofessional. I came to find out after I said I will go home an paint my own nails. That Jacque the boss was on vacation. An it hit me! She runs the place an that's why it wasn't running as well because she wasn't there. I hope I can talk to the owner and fix this. read more

First time going today-Horrible experience! They took too long! Was there for 2 hours just for a pedicure! They didn't even acknowledge me when I first walked in! Once I was seated they didn't offer me any to drink I had to ask for it and even then they seemed bothered. The person working on me was sooooo slow! This place is excellent! Just one person was in the pedicure area when i wslked in but within minutes the place was hopping. I was getting a nail repair with the owner (he did a very good job). He turned around to use an intercom to call someone. Suddenly a bunch of employees emerged from a back room to handle all the new customers. What a great idea, it always looks weird having lots of bored employees hanging around the salon paying on their iPhones. Also, the pedicure customers were enjoying a glass of white wine during their sesson. The kids had juice or water. They even had boys and men getting a pedicure. That was a first for me! The place was beautifully designed, tvs in each direction, and they knew what they were doing. Owner suggested a fill rather than just a repair but said I didn't need a new set, he could fix them instead. He did a wonderful job and my hands look great,again. Customer Service - Came at 445 pm on Sunday right before they were closing on a Sunday and they were nice enough to let me in! For closing, the salon was still super packed, so I would recommend making an appointment if you're coming in on the weekend. The two ladies who did my manicure/pedicure were still super nice to me though, despite what I'm sure was a long days work. Services (gel manicure and regular pedicure) - I would highly recommend a gel manicure to anyone who sucks at maintaining their nails, like I do. Although it's a little more expensive and takes more time than the regular manicure, but I PROMISE it's well worth it in the end because you won't have to come in and pay for a touch up. It lasts soooo much longer than a regular manicure. The woman I had was also very efficient at doing the gel manicure. Pedicure was average. The regular pedicure comes with a nice scrub of which you can choose different scents so that was a nice added bonus. But many other salons I've been to have that as well. Salon - I also super appreciated how clean the salon looked. Because I stayed after their normal business hours, I also got to witness their end of the day cleaning procedures. They thankfully clean the jet tubs extremely well and sweep up nicely. Overall, it was a great experience for the price. I got the gel manicure and pedicure, which came out to $55. I've definitely had more expensive ones with worse services so I will definitely be back to VIP! read more

I am being generous with the two stars. People were nice. The place was clean, but their supplies are sub par. I've never broken this many dip nails in my life. I work in an office and don't do much vigorous or physical work. In one week 7 of my nails have either cracked or chipped. They fixed three two days after I got them done, but now I have 4 more, two of which are the same nails they repaired. I also left the first time with top coat all over my cuticles. read more

Steer away from this place. My mom had a horrible experience and asked me to write a review on behalf of her. She called ahead and asked if they take walk ins or just appointments. They told her walk ins are fine. She comes in with a friend and gets seated. Her feet are soaked and other people begin to come in. 4 different clients later, 45 minutes later, feet in now cold water, she asks why she has not been tended to. They say it's because they had appointments. My mom got there first. They ignored her and her friend for 45 minutes while tending to people that came in AFTER HER claiming they all had appointments except my mom. I don't want to throw out the race card but all these other ladies were white, my mom and her friend latinas. My mom has a strong accent. She had to ask for towels to dry her feet to get up and leave. They didn't even ask to make things right, just handed her the towel and let her leave. My mom was paying for not just her pedicure, but her friends, along with getting my sister and I gift cards. One client, 4 services. They missed out on a potential great client because they decided to ignore her. She took her business elsewhere and not we all have appointments at a different salon. While my mom was leaving, they all started yelling in their language around her. They didn't even try to stop her from leaving. These people don't care about their clients. Go elsewhere. read more

Well... I'm new to the area and maybe I'm spoiled to my old salon. But I can promise that I'm not coming back here. The technicians speak poor English. And aren't very polite. My nail job was sub par. Especially for the dip manicure. The nail tech, Lee, did not even cut my cuticles and was unable to keep the shape of my nails like they were and how I requested. I had to ask him to cut them down.. all he was worried about was using fake nails. He was one of the worst nail techs I've EVER had. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead one 1 is because of Tony, the tech who did my pedicure. He was much better, which isn't saying a lot compared to his bad Lee was. I personally felt like the entire time they just tried to make me upgrade and pay more. Very disappointed and miss my salon in Memphis TN. read more

I could tell getting it done that it wasn't going to be the best. The person who did my nails got hot pink all over my very neutral dip color. Had to sand it off multiple times. Didn't cut the cuticle so it started chipping off by the next day. Not a pleasant experience inside the salon and feel like I threw my money down the drain. The first time I went the place was very nice and looked clean. The lady that did my pedicure was super nice took her time and did a great job. The man that did my nails forgot I was waiting to get my nails done. I sat there for 30 minutes before anyone realized I was waiting. They were busy so he rushed through my nails and did not buff them properly. The second time I went it took Susan who was very nice, an hour and half to do gel nails. After she was done the polish was bubbling and came off in a big goo mess. They had to take them off, and said something was wrong with the color. I choose a different color, and Alice re did them. They looked good but she forgot to put the top clear coat on. I reminded her and she argued with me and said she did. I was watching the whole time, I'd already had to start all over because of messed up product, she did not. The whole time she put the clear coat on she argued and she you know I already did this. I've been coming here since 2011 or '12. Three owners later, service just keeps getting worse. Why can't salon owners understand that the clients go to be "pampered"? It's NOT relaxing when you're rushed, it's NOT relaxing when your employees continuously yell at each other in their language, its NOT relaxing when the employees stop offering a beverage (not even water) when it used to be the first thing they did, even offering refills on wine, AND IT'S NOT PROFESSIONAL to put up a "privacy screen" near the pedicure chairs, gather with other employees and start gambling while your clients sit and feel abandoned. This "employee gambling game" has happened during my last two visits. The employees were loud and totally ignored the customers. We, the customers, sat looking at each other, baffled, and wondered if we should walk out and let them have their party in private. Seriously, this place doesn't even deserve 1 star any longer. I've been a loyal customer FOR YEARS, through good and bad! But no more! This place has become absolutely terrible!! ZERO thought to customer service!! read more

This was such a nice surprise for me. I generally go to places downtown (and pay for it) but have found the services to be mediocre lately...so I decided to give this a try. I thought everyone was so friendly, everything was reasonably priced, and the chairs aren't broken (oddly this seems way too common). It was relaxing and well done! I know it's not as "fancy" as some other places, but the overall service was better. Also, the towels were so clean you could smell the laundry detergent on them--thought this was a good sign! Bad experience I haven't been for a pedi due to no time to my schedule working a full time job and on my feet all day so I decided to go with my toddler and see if maybe we could have our toes done while I finally had time to go ,we checked in they rushed through my pedicure rubbed and washed off the scrubs right away I was in and out for less than 30 min and still charged 60$ for me and my baby when they said she wouldn't sit to have her toes painted with Out even trying ..
