Fill in and cuticle treatment. I wanted a specific colour...the bottle on the left....was my choice...she took time to look for it and was not to be found. Her suggestion was to layer two colours to make that colour... It was perfect. Her attention to giving me a perfect result ....... I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure and unfortunately had a very painful experience. During the pedicure, the technician exfoliated my heels far too aggressively, to the point that my skin was broken and I was bleeding. I left with raw, irritated areas that are still painful and now require ongoing care and bandaging. Beyond the service itself, the overall environment felt unsanitary, which added to my discomfort and concern. I did not have a safe or comfortable experience and would not recommend this salon based on my visit. read more

Putting Ross of my list of go to salons. While the pricing might seem high when compared to pre-Covid times, when compared to other salons you get more than what you pay for. The set up is normal but the service is top tier. My first and second experience has been the same. They are polite friendly and have several regulars. I got a pedi and a full set. With the pedi, I got the simplest option and still got a massage and scrub in addition to the nail care. While painting my toes the technician noticed a small mistake and re did the entire nail. Most times people ignore mistakes but he was right on top of it! The location was really nice as well and has a very relaxing ambiance. I'd for sure recommend them 8/10. read more

Literal burning experience I've been to many places never have I ever felt that. One eye was long other whack eyelashes falling out that night. If there was a negative rating I would give it. Good Lord... I didn't want to believe the reviews, but damn, 2 stars is truly 2 stars. And it sucks because there are some good techs that work there. I ended up with a tech that rushed through my whole mani-pedi. What was supposed to be a treat, turned into a rushed nightmare for me. Of course I'm exaggerating the nightmare bit, but the pics speak for themselves. This is a basic manicure...how hard could it be? And when I questioned her about trimming my cuticles, she proceeded to tell me that she knew what she was doing because her teacher trained her how to do it properly (paraphrased)... however, to appease me, she went back and did a 2nd time. Now if the pictures are the final result, imagine why I asked her to fix it???!!! Oh geez, if I do go back, I will avoid this lady at all costs. My colleague and I came in this week during our one hour lunch break. We were in and out in a timely manner. We each had two nail techs take care of us. I had two gentlemen and am so happy they both were kind, listened to what I wanted. The only reason why I did not give them a 5 star is as you can see in pictures I wish the polish would have gone higher/closer to cuticle (honestly being picky bc I want to make sure I don't have to come back for another 3 weeks with out nails looking disgusting) besides that I will def come back and ask for both nail techs. UPDATE: 1 week and 2 days later see pics added Polish lifted. And as I previously mentioned the cuticles look as though I've had this polish on longer which is not attractive. VIP Nails opened around April, 2018. They are still offering 20% off their services, which is definitely a plus. I requested a take off of my acrylic nails and a manicure. I think my nail technician may have found it challenging to remove my nails because I had them for about a month, but I still did not expect two skin tears on two of my fingers. It was not actively bleeding, but you could see blood. After spending some time taking off my nails, he put my hands in a glass bowl that appeared dirty, and the water was very cold (colder than tap water). What he did do for my manicure included cutting my cuticles, shaping my nails, and putting cream on the cuticles before asking me to wash my hands. That was pretty much it. I do not frequently get my nails done, but even with basic manicures, I have gotten at least lotion put on my hands, and they have lasted longer. I do like they had 7 nail technicians working on a Monday. The interior is also very grand compared to other nail salons, and they have reasonable prices. Parking is also readily available. Overall, I will opt for another place next time. read more

I have been searching for a good nail salon in Tucker since I moved here two years ago. There is one that's been re-opened that is pretty nice, but I'm still not completely impressed with the quality of pedicures they give. (Thankfully I'm not in search of a place for nails!) VIP Nails JUST opened (May 2018) and is right down the road from me. I wasn't sure if they were open yet, but yay! They have a 20% off grand opening sale, too. The place is gorgeous! Obviously clean since it's new. Their pedi service details seemed to read a little vague and didn't list things out too plainly. However, that may be because each one is very different from the other, tho they graduate in price like other places. Perhaps they include everything that's in the basic pedi and add on as you go. (I was just wanting to get into a chair and really didn't want salt scrubs, callus cutting, etc., but DID want hot towels and extra massage). They were very accommodating. I explained what I wanted and what I was willing to pay, haha, and they gave me an amazing massage. My sweet technician didn't chat me up, which is what I prefer. They have a choice of several aroma mud/lotions that they use for your legs that you choose from, I chose mango. The massage remote is IN the a of the chair. (Including pic). They have plenty of pillows scattered about if you need one for extra support, and they also offer you a cold bottle water. They have very clean bathrooms, separate for men/women that look like proper restaurant bathrooms. Separate waxing rooms that look like massage rooms. I need to see if they offer that as well, it wouldn't surprise me if they did. My pedicure itself so far seems pretty good. My feet are really mangled from arthritis, so there's no getting them pretty, and my toenails are a little hard to get straight bc of what comes with RA. They separate your toes w those spongy toe things, not toilet paper, finally! Some of nails are cut at at a slight angle. I'm not happy about that, first world problems... All in all, I am ecstatic that I found this place!!! read more

I live out of town and needed a mani-pedi with SNS, so I came back to this salon since my first one with Jenny went so well. This time my technician (she didn't give her name) rushed through both services. She made my nails longer than requested because she claimed coffin shaped nails have to be a certain length. I have a long nail bed and know what can be done on my hands vs someone else. Finally, my SNS started to lift that same week! I was in the neighborhood and too far from the shops I regularly go to, so I popped in for a gel polish change. The lady did an okay job - not fabulous. She didn't really clean the polish around my nails well and she seemed to use a lot of coats/go over my nails a few times with the polish. We'll see how long it lasts. I'll update in a week or so. Also slightly irritated by the people who weren't working who had their opened boxes of snacks out on the manicure tables. I understand it gets slow, but why would you do that? That's gross. But what I'm super irritated about is the price. Posted sign says $20. Cool. I get to the counter and she says it's $22. I ask her why and she says it's $2 to take off gel. Umm....if I'm getting a gel polish change, I obviously have gel on my nails already. Why isn't that included in the price (like literally every decent nail salon I've ever been to)? She asks someone else and that person says it's $23. Soooo you're basically making this up as you go along. K. I was appalled by the way she spoke so rudely and loudly at the nail tech. I was not even able to enjoy my service due to her loud obnoxious rants ! I understand if she wasn't happy with her service, however she was not polite at all when speaking with anyone at the salon. I got an infection from the technician using a metal cheese grater looking thing on my feet!!! I found out from podiatrist THOSE ARE ILLEGAL! THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE THEM BECAUSE THEY DO NOT REPLACE THEM FOR EACH CUSTOMER! They also can not sterilize them, they just transfer germs from one customer to another!!! Excuse the awkward picture of my foot - telling how great my experience was means nothing unless I can show off the services I received. I walked in on Saturday without an appointment for a pedicure and was immediately sat in a massage chair. The technician who did my toes was friendly, quick but thorough, and provided a painless experience. Hers was a fine service but not enough to inspire a review. I walked in today at 7:15 for a takeoff and full set. My nails are a month past needing a fill, so adding powder to the base would have been laughable. The first gentleman I spoke to took a look at my polished hand and said my nails looked fine and a fill would do it. I asked for a new technician. Dominic came over and saved my hands and my birthday weekend (gloves in June? No!). He soaked and drilled and hand filed off my old powder in order to preserve my natural nail and convinced me to try an ombré nail instead of a plain pink and white. He told me the price in advance and said it took longer than a plain full set but was worth it. He's right! He stayed until well after closing (they close at 8 and we finished after 9) so that he could take his time and make sure I was satisfied with the look. I'm quite pleased, and the 20% discount at the end was the cherry on top! For a new clean facility to have such dedicated and meticulous workers and still offer discounted prices is a great thing while it lasts. I can't wait to go back. read more

They always do a good job on my SNS. Pedicures have been decent too. However, I asked for an SNS manicure and only got the powder applied, no cuticle trim, even though I asked for it. They ALWAYS try to up-charge me and get me to do a more expensive pedicure or eyebrows. The lady doing my nails today basically told me my eyebrows looked bad and they were too long so I should get them done. I did not even ask for her opinion on my brows.
