HUGE safety concern!! We reserved the Mini-V party and were driving on I-205 when the buses doors started rattling and flew open. We had to pull over and our driver secured the doors back shut... then this happened 3 more times. It was really scary and someone could have gotten seriously injured!! I'm frustrated that I have not been able to get in contact with a manager to address this issue and want to prevent this from happening again. Our bus driver said the issue with the doors was known, and parts were on-order which means this could have been prevented and I do not appreciate the decision to allow us to ride on the bus. This was such a negative experience since our driver was also 30 minutes late to pick up (she went to the wrong address) and stopping 3 times on the freeway caused us to have to cancel our stop, and turn around to get to the event we were planning on attending. I've been trying to get in touch VIP PDX for 2 weeks, and my calls and emails have not been returned... Do yourself a favor and do NOT book with this company. read more

For how expensive the bus we paid for was, it was definitely not worth it. We rented a bus for a high school prom group, and while the group did have a couple people under 18, I did find it very strange that there was a man in the back of the bus with us as a "chaperone" of sorts. It was very strange. Also spending about 15-20 minutes waiting for him to check our ID's was annoying because we were SUPPOSED to leave at the time we told the bus to pick us up, not 20 minutes later. But the thing that really made it a negative experience was how from the beginning of the ride, the music was very spotty and then in the last 20-30 minutes of our ride the power went off and we had absolutely no light or music! Definitely would have saved a LOT of money and probably had more fun just driving ourselves in separate cars, even in a group of close to 30 people. Sorry! read more

I booked a bus through their sister company Double Decker PDX. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. I have only negative things to say about their level of customer service and communication (or lack thereof). I ended up having to rebook with Be So Lucky Limo - which was wonderful - for my wedding day. Book at your own risk. We worked with Brooks to set up all the details and he was very organized, knowledgeable and professional! He recommended some terrific wineries and also allowed to us to add one that we wanted to visit. We had a group of 12 which was perfect. I wouldn't advise trying to fit more than 12 people on the bus unless they know each other really well. ;) VIP provided a small fridge with waters which was awesome for our large group. (We could have used it for additional drinks as well if we desired). Brooks suggested we pick up sandwiches at Red Hills Market which was really convenient. We provided the order in advance and our driver, Patrick ended up picking up our order for us. The food was delicious! The only thing I would change is that we would have allowed more time at each winery. Our group was quite large and the 45-50 min. that we had allotted per winery was not enough. For any group larger than 5 I would recommend an hour and a half per winery. I also might recommend bringing a cooler with some fruit and cheese as my group wasn't quite satisfied with just our sandwiches for lunch. We visited Torii Mor and Vista Hills which were both small, boutique-y wineries with GORGEOUS views. We did not have time to visit our third which was Sokol Blosser. I would HIGHLY recommend VIP PDX. read more

I just used VIP PDX to arrange a wine tasting tour for my work group of 11 people. I asked them to recommend wineries to visit and then they made the reservations with the tasting rooms for us. I worked with Brooks to set up the event (very easy to work with over phone and email). They sent us a nice limo-bus that was very comfortable for the group. And Polly, our driver, was wonderful and fun. My work group had a fabulous time. I will definitely use VIP PDX for my next outing and transport needs. read more

We booked the large 30 passenger coach for our wedding. Brooks was very helpful and knowledgable and was great to work with. He even met us for a private tour of the bus, as we had only seen pictures online. The day of the coach was early, clean, well kept, and nice and cool! Our host and driver were a pleasure to work with and took care of us extremely well. We ended up having a full coach of near 30 people and still had plenty of room. The ride was great, the entertainment system worked well, and everyone involved had a great time. I would highly recommend using PDX VIP for anyone who wants a ride that has style, functionality, and a great memory that your guests will not soon forget. unfortunately, this was the worst party bus Ive ever experienced. I've never had to show ID to prove my age for a party bus. my friends who are under 18 also had to have their parents sign a waiver, which i've never experienced before. In addition, we had to schedule any stops we wanted to make ahead of time, and so when checking our IDs took 20 minutes and we had to cancel our first stop to make our second on time, they wouldn't let us add a stop later in the night. Also to make matters worse, in the last 20 minutes of our drive the power in the bus stopped working, so we sat in the dark with no music. There was also a company "chaperone" sitting in the back with our party, which was not stated on their website ahead of time. The bus driver also made some sketchy moves throughout our drive. This would all be okay with me if it was a cheap bus, but for our party of 28, it cost $40 per person. I've had much cheaper busses that were much better. I hope this brand reworks a lot of this & improves. read more

And the people below that actually had a great time. I don't doubt that they did. That executive bus looks awesome and I'm sure it's a blast. We just never had the chance to ride. :( Apparently because Graham lost faith that we would show up to a bus we paid $2500.00 to ride. I would not ever work with this company again! "World class" is used to describe a company that A has class. They did not demonstrate this what so ever. The host, Graham is a complete a**hole. I would never speak to a client in the manner that he spoke to me in. Last minute they switched the bus out from us and had RAZ transportation pick us up in a 29 passenger bus that leaked fluid on us and was like riding a tank for 8 hours. Graham said he did this because he didn't think we would be there on time to get on the bus and he had another pick up later that night. This stemmed from us asking if we could push the pick up time to an hour later. He called me and tried to make me feel like this was my fault when in reality he just over booked and couldn't admit it. Remember this trip was paid in full and had been booked months prior. I told him if everyone wasn't there on time it was on us and they would need to arrange there own transportation since he already had his money. He insisted that he had lost confidence that we would make it to the early pick up time. I told him he's dealing with 20 Phd's and had nothing to worry about. And Again we had already paid $2500+ to ride. He finally convinced me that he would send a 49 passenger coach down and it would be comparable with the executive coach. What showed up was a total joke! This 29 passenger short bus with limited storage. We actually ended up having to drive a separate car to get everything we needed to our destination. I wasn't just disappointed with what happened but completely taken back by the way the owner handled his over booking and how he attempted to make me feel that it was my fault. I know that they are the only ones around here that offer an executive party bus like this. But I cannot recommend their services at all. I was totally burned by them... read more

We used VIP PDX for our wedding and bridal party about 2 weeks ago. They were recommended to us by a friend and so happy that we used them for our special day! We had 30 of our closest family and friends on with us using the luxurious coach bus and it was perfect. Not only did we have air conditioning and a bathroom, but they provided a cooler with ice and cups for us to stay hydrated and celebrate! Kevin and Minda, the owners, were great to work with, very responsive and professional. They helped make July 14, 2017, stress free, fun, and our best day yet! They drove us to our favorite locations in Portland to take scenic pictures that will provide us memories to last us a lifetime and then dropped us off right in front of our venue for our ceremony and reception at Cooper's Hall. I would hate to deal with drunk people for a living, but they did a wonderful job and hosting us around the city and making his 40th birthday something to remember. It was pretty fantastic! EXCELLENT! I can not overstate how happy I am with VIP PDX. I had been planning for some time to get a bus to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. I am a detail intense planner and read up on every service in town that could transport 30 people in one bus. I researched each on line and called them all. After much consideration, I chose VIP PDX. I absolutely made the right choice. Brooks was great to work with. Our driver John and our host Edgar were perfect. The coach was exactly as it appears in their promotional photos. I had originally planned to use the bus to bar hop, but my girlfriend thought we should utilize the bus for the party. I contacted Brooks, and he suggested heading up the gorge. We stopped at Multnomah Falls and Hood River and then turned around and partied home. It was an excellent suggestion and fit our four hours exactly. I give VIP PDX my hightest recommendation and urge anyone thinking of renting a coach to call them first. We will be doing this again! read more

We used VIP Pdx for our son's Senior Prom. They were great and we (as parents) and the kids all had a really good experience with VIP. We had changes in our itinerary on the day of the Prom and both Brooks and Lisa were really flexible and accommodating with the craziness of that day. Rented their party bus to transport guests to Eugene on 7/18 to attend my husbands surprise party. It was a very hot day, 95 degrees. The air conditioning on the bus barely worked and then the bus broke down on the way. Guests had to taxi or be shuttled to the party arriving late. VIP PDX then sent their double decker bus to return the guests to Portland and it had no air conditioning. VIP PDX didn't bother reaching out to us with as much as an apology. Their excuse was "none of the guests were upset". (They also weren't paying for anything!) We reached out to them two days later expressing our displeasure. After writing an extensive email & two 'heated' conversations, they stood defensive in why they should not refund us at all. At long last, their solution was a 30% discount for a ruined 50% ride along with a $400 discount the next time we book with them. At least it was something but from a customer service point of view, we will NEVER use them again. We wouldn't want to repeat this bad experience. A lesson to VIP PDX: Your customer service is probably your best marketing tool. Had you reached out and handled all of this more graciously and humbly, you would have had our loyal business - things go wrong! Had a Brew Tour the other day and all had a great time. Our hosts David and Deanna were both awesome. The bus is very well equipped and comfortable. Kevin and Minda were also fantastic to deal with. We had music and they stock water and had a cooler full of ice for us. These folks go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have a good time. I hired VIP PDX's small party bus to transport my bridal party to and from my wedding ceremony venue. The coordination was a touch complicated because I needed the bus to pick up my groom and his party from the hotel/reception venue, take them to the church, come to the salon to pick up me and my party, take us to the church, then return all of us back to the hotel after the ceremony. Working with VIP PDX to arrange all of this was very easy and straightforward and took a layer of stress off me in the wedding planning. On the day-of, our bus driver, Roger, was prompt, polite, and very helpful. He not only held an umbrella over me and my giant wedding dress coming to and from the bus, he also helped my ladies carry in the box that contained their bouquets and helped check out the church to make sure my groom wouldn't accidentally see me before the big moment.
