It's a full body treatment that begins with dry brushing followed by an amazing body scrub then wrapped up like a burrito. After the wrap your Vichy shower begins and it's Devine! After that it's followed with a 50 minute massage. It is the best bang for your buck in town! Bill and Yoshi are the BEST! Be prepared to get your hair wet since you're basically having someone bathe you. I feel like a million bucks every time I leave!

It had actually been almost 5 years since I had last seen her and after a recent apartment move, I needed her services for my aching body! It was like visiting an old friend and I remembered just how awesome of a person she is and that I should not have let so much time go by without visiting her. A mistake I will try to not repeat even though I have to leave Austin temporarily. She is able to provide the most gentle touch, as well as deep therapeutic pressure for those stubborn knots that don't work with anything else. I have always felt that her skills make me feel relaxed even though I need her stronger touch throughout the session at some points. Her massage room is super cozy and will help you feel completely at ease. Oh, and one final note for those that are more self conscious or don't like to bare all of their goodies! Susanna let's you undress to your level of comfort and always provides a blanket to keep you covered regardless of how bare you go! Don't worry about leaving all oily either. Try out the hot stone treatment, just did my first one recently and it was neat and really kept me focused on being grounded in my body and that moment because the hot stones kept being introduced to new areas as she progressed with the massage. Unfortunately, my experience here with Fairy was very different. There was no proper assessment of my skin to determine the appropriate wavelength or energy settings; I was simply told a "medium" setting would be used for a first session for safety. The treatment itself felt rushed, and during the session I noticed that some areas were being missed. Although I shared my past results, I was told by Fairy that IPL can't remove dark spots or freckles, which contradicts both my experience and widely available information about the treatment. After the session, I didn't experience any of the typical post-treatment reactions, such as redness, and I saw no results in the weeks that followed. Overall, this felt like a combination of outdated equipment and limited experience with delivering effective IPL results. I wouldn't recommend this spa for IPL.

She encourages routine not just to take care of your skin, but because she wants to know that you're taking care of YOU and not just everyone else in your life. She's also not trying to sell you A)products that are overpriced or B) products that you don't need. She recommends products that she believes will work for you and your budget. With that being said, sometimes if you want to get healthier skin you may have to spend a little more on better quality products.
