Contacted them through yelp for full tint job (windshield, all windows and a seamless rear window) on a new model 3 and was assisted by Tristan promptly. Keep in mind I had my model Y done by another shop locally that quoted me nearly 2x as much for my model 3. VIP Recon was 1 of the 5 shops I sent a request of quotes and they were by far the most affordable for the same job and same quality tint (XPEL). They were able to get me in the next morning and got the job done in a very timely manner compared to my model Y previously from another shop. They even took CC payment with no additional fees so I opted to charge the card instead of cash. Great clean professional work. I should've use them for my Model Y from the jump. "My own account: " Wow, where do I even start? If you're looking for a place to spend $1200 and leave with your car looking like it just survived a sandstorm, then boy, do I have the place for you! After what I assume was a leisurely two-hour nap in my car (based on the precision of the tint job), I got my keys back and couldn't help but be amazed. It's almost like they deliberately applied the tint with their eyes closed! Sun peering in ? Oh, yes Uneven edges? You betcha! And those beautiful smudges? A nice touch, really. I should have read the fine print really , at least that's what they told me , and After my payment was taken.lol When I politely pointed out these "minor" issues, I was met with a LoOOoonnnGG story , (which i should have popcorn to listen to ) about how it will not be fixed .
