VIP Recon never disappoints. Asked them to tint the windows on my Airstream trailer and they were up to the challenge. I was worried that the tint wouldn't look right, but they knew the perfect tint to use. The windows look amazing now and (from the outside) they perfectly blend in with the shell. It all shines and looks incredible now.

If you are interested in working with a company that won't stand behind their poor quality work, this is the company for you! The front bumper obviously has poor installation issues. The inside edge of the door where it meets the fender wasn't installed well either. Take a look at their tint job, some of it is peeling and some aren't even tinted to the edge of the window. Makes sense why they undercut their competitors pricing. I contacted them to get these issues resolved, Moises said he would cover these issues but the manager Angela told me they can trim their errors as a fix. The car is only 3 years old and there's a 10 year warranty on the clear PPF and lifetime warranty on the tint. UPDATE 4/13/25 - Tristan, i am surprised of the company's response. Based on what was told to my husband, VIP Recon was just going to call Yelp and have this review removed. Had someone actually said to us what you offered here, maybe we could have worked something out. However, based on the tone over the phone, businesses are always right and customers are always wrong...so good luck with the future growth. We are working with Expel directly now on compensations for the poor workmanship, so no point to hash out the details here anymore. UPDATE 4/15/25- Thanks Tristan for having to stress your standpoint that the customer is wrong. This really speaks to the professionalism and level of customer service VIP Recon upholds.

So to start off I love VIP Recon. I have been taking my vehicles here ever since Matt opened up the shop. I can't even count the number of times I've brought them vehicles and every single time I am treated with respect and my concerns or questions are always addressed properly and promptly!!! Angie and the team do a fantastic job. I have done window tinting with them. Normal car washes. Waxes. Ceramic coatings. And will be scheduling PPF clear bra soon enough. Prices are comparable with other shops and most of the time they are beating them. I will pay whatever and stay with VIP Recon for as long as possible. Posted a couple examples of the work they do. I really love this place! First time here and would recommend to anyone. Used yelp and called for a quote, good thing they weren't that busy and just walked in with no appointment (although still advisable to make one) When I came in they got started on my vehicle right away. They say 2hrs usually but there's leeway for it for sure because they finished mine so quick. Also they made sure they cleaned up after the install. Had the xpel prime xr on all windows, windshield and sunroof. They got it perfect and the product was great as well. Overall very happy and will make an appointment soon to get PPF done. You get what you pay for. And I higly recommend this place. PS, they have a movie theater like waiting area, felt like I was home. read more

Jr. is a solid, trustworthy guy, and I only trust him with my cars. There was one car I didn't take to him, and I regretted it. Lesson learned. once again, Angie and the crew did an amazing job taking care of me. I've had window tinting done 4x through them and I've never had any bubbling or quality Issues. The trim lines have also been perfect. This time I needed some badly yellowed headlights restored and they were able to take care of me the next day. They look brand new! Angie took me through the options on how to protect the newly restored headlights (from various coatings to PPF) and didn't pressure me at all as I was thinking about it. A few days ago I left a negative review with pictures to back up my claims. The owner Matt has no idea how to deal with dissatisfied customers, so he chose to harass me and my husband with endless text messages, phone calls, spamming my business with fake reviews, and threatening us with physical violence. Matt has called me and my husband 56 times this morning between the hours of 9 am and 10 am. Each time threatening to ruin our business and murder us in our sleep. This is especially unsettling since he has all of our information in his system. It's gotten so bad that I've had to file a police report with the Santa Clarita sheriff. read more

Called in the morning for tint in the 2018 Camry and they said they could take my car right away. Other shops (Fresh Tint) gave me an estimate several days away and VIP RECON's price was significantly less. I showed up, picked out my tint, and was told it would be ready in about 2hrs! I've had about 10 cars tinted and they have always taken longer. I walked to Home Depot, and 2hrs later walked back to VIP. 20 mins after I arrived the car was ready. I got my Mazda tinted almost a month ago. I got an appointment at the same day I called VIP Recon. I'm glad it was quick and good interaction. The pricing is also very reasonable. The only thing I want to say (just for 2019-2023 Mazda owners) is if you are about to tint the windshield you are going to experience a distortion and blurry vision while driving at the night time. But it's just for this particular model. Other windows are just fine, it's simply the windshield issue. read more

Angie was very helpful explaining the type of tints which made it easier to pick. after dropping the car off I received a call later from Angie stating during inspection they found a crack in my rear passenger window. it was hardly noticeable since it was way down in the corner and hard to see.
