I was there as a haircare product demonstrator to give out samples and take a count of some of the products there. They refused to give me a table. My product was close to the bottom shelf, which I counted, dusted, and then typed up a report on my phone for my business. They kindly reported me to my company for texting on my phone and sitting in the aisle. What, they expected me to kneel or lay on the floor? There were almost no customers, so you would think they had their own restocking to do instead of monitoring what I was doing. Plus it was super-dusty. I guess those bishes didn't dust? What absolute bishes. Maybe it was because smartphones were newish in 2011? I had just been at Erewhons and they were all supernice to me there. The contrast was glaring. While this was in 2011, it left a very bad taste in my mouth, so I can't support their business when they treat visitors so poorly. I probably should have immediately complained to management. So here I am complaining to Yelp 15 years later. But seriously, anywhere I go as a demonstrator, I am also a potential customer for lunch, groceries, or whatnot. So I guess it's Erewhons and Whole Foods for me.

But everything is super fresh and they have every salad bar option you could ever possibly imagine plus some you might not -- like their special already made salads. They also have soup, bread, make your own sammies and smoothies, plus tons of chips and snacky snacks. My lessons learned after a few visits to the salad bar -- choose the smallest container possible (it will still cost LOL), don't come unless you want to wait in a line of hungry corporate business folks between 12-1 (I have seen the line go out the door) -- actually my advice is go early because later on everything is picked over (although the staff are really good about filing the salad bar items). Also everyone who works there is super friendly and super busy! It is kind of hard to find the location -- it is across the street from the Colorado Center tucked in the middle of another corporate park but I didn't catch the name of the corporate park. So ... IYKYK!!!

I had them make the smoothie without collagen as that is a beef product. It literally took 21 minutes on a Wednesday. It was ok, a little sweet with the stevia. I asked how many calories and they wouldn't tell me. Only that it's meant as a "meal replacement " and is between 500-1200 calories. Oof! I'll stick with the healthy superfruit smoothie from Toastique. The salad was good with the figs standing out and the sandwich was delicious. Lots of avocados. Ambiance: everyone is there for the prepared foods and smoothies. The grocery aisles were fairly empty. There's a few bar stools by the entrance so we ate there but most take to go. Parking: very small light with complimentary valet. Luckily we got a spot. Note there's a 30 minute parking limit! Price: $53 for the above 3 items.

Whenever I see one, I take note or stop in. The one thing all the Vitamin Shoppes have in common is that they all sell Vitamins. And the other thing they all have in common is that they are all Boring. I really don't know how you make them exciting. Maybe put some energetic music on. Most of the employees don't even seem excited to be working with all these Vitamins. Maybe they need to take more Vitamins? Is there a Vitamin that gets you excited about your job?--whatever it is? I would take one! Prices here are basically the same as most anywhere--I compare them to Whole Foods on some Vitamins and they are about the same, sometimes Whole Foods has a sale so it's less. Most of the big Vitamin names control (fix) their retail prices. They also sell some things here that are bad for you like the Lenny & Larry sugar cookies--don't eat that crap. Lenny pays for placement in the store right in front. They make you believe you are getting high protein and you end up high on sugar. I usually come here for Solgar Vitamin C--Solgar is one of the oldest Vitamin Companies--been making Vitamins before most of the other brands--very high quality. I also get the Nature's Way Multi-Vitamin for men. I always wonder what would happen to me if I took the Woman's Vitamin. My friend says that if I took the Woman's Vitamin it would save me a lot of money because I would not have to pay for dates anymore....I said Yeaaa...but what if the Vitamin causes me to grow long blond hair--that's expensive to color and cut monthly... Anyway, they have parking in the back here or at the meters on the side. I sometimes lock my bike to a pole in the front--no bike rack. Products are usually very fresh, but check dates always. I will keep coming here or any of the other Vitamin Shoppes. I just wish there was a way to jazz these stores up somehow. Maybe I will start my own Vitamin Store called, "The Funny Vitamin."

They did not honor posted prices; went against their own advertising. Overall place needs a revamp of their staff, otherwise they gonna fall victim to Amazon.
