One of the Isles Pasta Sauces and other items

Heard about Erewhon some time ago and my first experience happened the other day. Particularly appreciated the Staff who were very helpful accommodating and knowledgeable. All the Staff were great but three in particular really extended a welcoming hand. Kevin was the second Staff member (I encountered) who was not only happy to answer any of my questions. He literally walked me through a small tour imparting guidance and information to better my shopping experience. Great guy and really knowledgeable as well. After Kevin and I separated. I was headed to the food stations to grab a bite or a salad or something. While I lingered in the round about area taking in all the different offerings (catered to any type of eater) I come across Chuy who was another Staff member very knowledgeable as well as an over all great guy as well. He literally walked me through several options available and I thought that was awesome. The place was abuzz with plenty of shoppers and the energy was pleasant and welcoming literally from the door and throughout the store. Staff at the door greet you with genuine enthusiasm. And say farewell just as enthusiastically on the way out. The food area had so many delicious looking options that it literally was a pleasure to view. I just started a cleanse so I grabbed a pre made Salad that turned out delicious. The Vegan Caesar Salad was my choice. The Chick Pea Tempeh was delish accompanied by a Raw Vegan Caesar Dressing both being stand outs amongst a host of other healthy and delicious ingredients that are too many to list here but were a great fresh delicious bite for certain. Erewhon indeed was a thorough class act and worth the patronage. Particularly appreciated the quality of all the offerings from Food to Household Cleansers. All healthy conscious options that give you relief when shopping knowing their products and vendors have health and safety consciousness in mind for the consumer that finds that important. At check out my cashier was Bryan who was also another knowledgeable Staff member who ran down the different points and information on membership benefits and so forth. Gratitude and give thanks to Erewhon and Staff (Kevin Chuy and Bryan) for a great shopping experience that will surely be revisited soon.

Strawberry glaze was really good!!! I was suprised yes price is steep I was surprised at the amount of people in there shocked it's right across the street from a bunch of cute restaurants ! I'd probably come back again I loved their vibe

I ordered a tote bag from Erewhon that arrived with visible bleach stains. When I contacted customer service to report the damage, I was told that what I was seeing was simply a 'natural variation in the canvas,' which was completely false and frankly insulting. Rather than acknowledging the defective item, they doubled down, insisted all sales were final, and made it clear they had no intention of helping me. After five attempts to get any form of resolution, I was essentially told I was stuck with a damaged product. It was only after I threatened to write a review that they offered an exchange, which I declined. At that point, a refund was the only acceptable resolution given the experience I had been put through. For a brand that charges premium prices and markets itself as a luxury experience, the customer service protocols and quality assurance are appalling. Being gaslit over an obvious defect on a $160 item is not the standard I expected from Erewhon. Buyer beware, if your order arrives damaged, don't expect them to take responsibility.

When in AK, Erewhon is a must stop! Isaac is amazing and we always wished to be assisted by Isaac when we shop. Not to mention a Milo Manheim sighting is always a wonderful run-in situation. Yes, it's expensive and some are just worth it. My fave is still the kale chips, the sushi, and the smoothies. Just so Southern California. love it. Found the reusable brown bag they don't have on display and staff were happy to help find it and get from the back.

My history with Erewhon began over 25 years ago at the OG Beverly Grove location. You can't beat the nutrient dense, high quality ingredients in the food. I'm obsessed with the Mason jar soups, the premade salads, AND the Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower. The tonic/smoothie bar has an extensive menu with superfood ingredients you will not find ANYWHERE ELSE. I always get the Turmeric latte or one of the bone broth tonics (sometimes both) when I'm feeling under the weather, along with a couple of immune boosting juices from the fresh juice case. That said, the smoothies are the real hit. My favorites are the Maca Bomb, Turmeric Crush, and The Goddess. They cost between $15-$20, but if you pretend it's a "meal replacement" the price doesn't hit so hard, lol. The MUST TRY celeb smoothie of the month (November) is Erykah Badu's Mama's Bang Bang, packed with 15 superfood ingredients. The flavor: earthy green, citrusy, with a smooth coconut cream swirl that hits your taste palate like a sweet surprise. The feeling: A euphoric rush you won't forget. It's the perfect smoothie to start your morning. The Strawberry Glaze smoothie, aka Hailey Bieber smoothie is another must try ("locals" already know). The glazed strawberries and coconut cream swirl will have you hooked.

    $49 pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving

Had the $49 pumpkin pie, $49 2lbs gravy and $49 cream of spinach. And the channa masala. Everything is delicious well made, healthy organic ingredients that are easy to digest and won't upset your stomach with any over the top ingredients or flavors. I find the food to be great for those health conscious and care about what ingredients they put into their body. No processed and hard to process ingredients either. Naturally sourced and not over the top with sugar and salts

I really like this smallish Erewhon store. The valet parking attendant is very nice and always helps you navigate the gnarly parking lot. Even though the selection is smaller than other Erewhon stores, there is still something for everyone. Everything is in its proper place and is neatly organized throughout the day. The ready-made foods section is, of course my favorite and I am currently obsessed with the Asian Chicken Salad-no notes! I also like the guacamole and it's less to buy it here than to bother making it yourself (for a small container anyway!) The Madchip chocolate chip cookies are yummy with the perfect amount of crunch and chewiness. I also love the Chicken Noodle Soup and could eat it by the gallon. Granola is also good, a bit pricey for what you get. The Faroe Island Salmon is also great. All in all, I don't think Erewhon is that badly overpriced for the great taste-Smoothies excluded! Service is very friendly in all departments and ambience is Venice casual so I fit right in!

    Smoothies are sooooo expensive ....

High end Grocery store. organic foods & wellness products looks beautiful and delicious if you don't mind the cost. Friendly service and clean interior. Smoothies blended with nutrient rich ingredients cost more than in and out double double meal

I'm so embarrassed that I spent over $40 on mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and 1 meatball!! When they say this place is expensive, they are not joking. But at this point, I think it's just expensive to be expensive. They carry a lot of the same products that Whole Foods does, but at a much higher cost. I was comparing product for product and shocked to see the massive inflation here. On the plus, they have great service and there are a lot of people on the floor ready to help you out. The Hailey Bieber smoothie is also delicious (even if it costs $20). I totally get paying extra for a premium product, but I don't understand paying more for something you can get somewhere else.

Best Erewhon location! The employees at the hot food bar are always so sweet and welcoming. They also have outdoor patio seating, which makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a little lunch with friends.

It's an experience man... Take some nickels with you , as a matter fact, take all your nickels and dimes and quarters and Benjamins! It is impressive , as well as expensive. I appreciated how they had so many of their snacks and their soups and things like that in glass jars . That's very important to me. Not only that I did appreciate the pure ingredients that I read on so many of the packaged foods and jarred soups. It's exactly like what you would make at home for your family. They pretty much have anything that you would want , but in a designer form. I just wanted to go in and look around . Fill up my eyeballs with all things good and yummy. Of course, I ended up getting a few little things here and there popcorn , protein shake pumpkin seeds etc.... Pay all your bills first , and then head over to Erewhon and treat yourself.

Finally tried the viral Hailey Bieber smoothie! Lemme tell you, it was good but not worth $20 LOL. There was no line which was awesome and the drinks were made pretty quickly. Parking is limited, good luck snagging a spot somewhere along the street or at one of the lots behind the structures lol.

updated review! This is my 2nd time visiting Erewhon Venice after 2 years. Not much has changed as it's super busy but maybe the menu and selection has. I was able to snag the tiktok viral sushi sandwich which I've been dying to try. I'll say it was pretty good and it was packed with a lot of fresh fish which I appreciate. My homegirl enjoyed her roll and it was the perfect lunch before I went off to the airport. The smoothies never miss, call me biased but I love a good smoothie and I don't mind the price if the ingredients are high quality + healthy. Health is wealth! The Kali Uchis smoothie didn't taste that off from the Hailey Bieber one, it's a slight distinction from what I remember. I love both... There's nothing from this place I haven't liked so far. Next time I'll have to try Hailey's soft serve, hot bar food, and the blue coconut smoothie. I miss it already and I'm always craving Erewhon lol. Sushi sandwich 7/10 yummy but rice was a little stale tasting Roll 8/10 Kali Uchis smoothie 9/10 on the thicker side, a little hard to drink Hailey Bieber 10/10 ofc!

I went to Zion Market with my mom on Sunday afternoon, March 15th. I had just come back from going…read moreout and ran into my mom in front of the elevator, and she asked me to go to the market with her. But honestly, this place is absolutely terrible and horrible. Both my mom and I agreed that we will never come back here again. My mom had come to get a refund because one of the pears she bought the day before was completely rotten. The market manager refunded $2 to her credit card, which was fine. The real problem started after that. When my mom was trying to drive out of the parking lot, the gate bar went up after scanning the parking ticket, but then suddenly came crashing down. If my mom hadn't quickly backed up, it could have hit her car. The bigger issue was that after that, the gate bar never went back up again. Cars behind us had to use another exit nearby. My mom, who was very shaken, went to ask the market manager what to do, but she said she didn't know. (At first, I stayed in the car and had to tell the cars behind us to use the other exit because the gate was not working). I was very upset when I heard that, so I went inside and asked the manager for the building management's contact number. She gave me a number, but when I called, the person who answered kept saying she couldn't find the address even after I repeated it more than ten times. Eventually, she told me they no longer manage that building. So I asked her to provide the contact number for the property management that handles the building, and she gave me another number. but it led to an automated system. After selecting the emergency option, a man answered, but even after I clearly spelled out "Zion" multiple times (Z as in Zebra, I as in Ice cream, O as in Oscar, N as in Nancy), he still couldn't understand and then told me that they no longer manage the building and hung up. We arrived at the market around 5 PM and didn't get out until 7 PM. No one helped us at all. After the call, I went back to the market manager again, but she still said she didn't know anything. It made me so angry--how can a manager not even know the property management contact for the building they work in? I also have low blood sugar, so when I get hungry, I start shaking. I ended up buying a piece of bread from the Paris Baguette inside the market. I didn't have cash with me, so I had to pay $3.50 with my card, but thankfully, the staff there was very kind. In the end, my brother had to come all the way from Burbank to get a new parking ticket for us so we could finally get out--after two hours. If he hadn't come, we might have been stuck there even longer or had to abandon the car. Thinking about it now still makes me extremely angry. The customer service is terrible, the building management is a mess, and there was no security at all. I never want to come back to this place. We spent two hours there, from 5 PM to 7 PM, completely wasting our time. Because of this, I couldn't do anything I had planned for the rest of the afternoon and evening. It was an absolute nightmare. My mom was also very upset and couldn't believe a place like this exists. FYI) Every time I come to this market, there is absolutely no cell phone signal., which is another major downside.

It was so beautiful and intricately arranged that I was sure they painstakingly did this themselves. But, no, they got it at LA G&C and went on to describe all the wonderful offerings in such glowing terms that we decided to go out of our way to give it a try. And so, on what could be called a rare dreary day in LA, we made our way to the up and coming hip neighborhood now called Melrose Hill. If you haven't checked out the area, you should probably Google it -- this is a dynamic area undergoing restoration. The main developers aim to keep the character of old Los Angeles while attracting the latest and best venues -- cafes, restaurants, bars -- among them Los Angeles Grocery & Cafe. There is a large parking lot accessed directly off Melrose. When it is time to leave, you simply drive through to the side street exit. Easy! Look at my photos -- the place is barn-like, keeping its rafters from the original building true to the promise of the building owners, with lots of unique inventory and room to add much, much more. You will find things you don't see elsewhere. We snapped up a bunch of items to try, including a few of my all time faves: gnocchi, sunflower butter, and egg salad. I would have gotten the pistachio butter but it has sugar and I like my nut butters sugar-free. If we hadn't been pressed for time, we would likely have loaded the cart with more, so that means a return visit. I want these people to thrive, so please consider coming over here and while you are at it, check out the rest of Melrose Hill, just following Melrose Avenue farther eastward. It won't be long before the entire area is the best place to be in L.A.

Prices everywhere are going up so I wouldn't say this is the cheapest place to shop but for what you get it's not bad, and if you are looking to get a variety of what you need for Asian cooking this is a good spot for it. I asked her how things worked and she explained it all. The kefir/kombucha bottles are $4 for 16 oz and they have 3 of each on tap. I asked Marcy about one before realizing everything had a QR code and you can easily pull up the ingredients and descriptions/directions for each item. I'm getting away from plastics and this place scratches me right where I itch! They sell just about anything you can imagine! I was so impressed w the selection! They even have produce and fresh sourdough bread! The day old is 50% off and I'm so mad I was in a pinch and had to buy store bought bread, otherwise I would've tried it today. I can't say enough. Even the music was fire and I was shazaming and jamming. Shower gels, body care, non seed oils, baking mixes, laundry pods and things you see in bulk at like Sprouts, but the quality and sourcing seems to be better. Some items don't need jars and they sell paper bags for .10 each. I did a kombucha/kefir tasting. Marcy brought these steel bowls over. No waste at all! If you drink the POG kefir soda at Erewhon and love it, try it here! It's made w fruit and is noticeably better! And POG there is my fave. Just try it at Re_!!! So when I was checking out I asked Marcy about being more prepared and bringing my own glasses next time. They've thought of everything!!!! There's iPads and scales in the front of the store. They weigh your empty containers and give you a sticker with the tare weight and then subtract it from the weight at the end! Revolutionary! They add 3% for the employees. I should've added more. Marcy was amazing and worth it. I'm honestly not big on tipping everyone for just breathing but if all the employees are like Marcy, they are worth way more than 3%! If you sign up you get 100 points instantly, $1 = 1 pt, and at 200 pts you get $10! It's not hard to spend in places like this but it's beyond worth it. I keep seeing things about the harms of plastic and don't get me started on all the other crap in our food. I foresee this as a new staple in my diet and home. They even have cleaning products! I'm getting my spices here from now on too! I'm a fan and I'll be back! Thank you Marcy and to the owners that had this amazing idea!
