However, you can pre-order for in-store pickup. I was looking for a bottle of Ciroc Pomegranate Vodka - and this Virginia ABC location was the closet to me - that stocked it. They don't have a parking lot near here and it is all street parking but people tend to park close to eat nearby so I had to go further down and park on the side of the road on a downhill. Trekking upwards was a challenge. So why was I here? There was a Green chartreuse shortage and they had 3 bottles. Maryland and Northern Virginia was out of them. So I drove all the way here - taking my whole afternoon - for these bottles. This place served its purpose as they had my online order ready. They packed them all in paper bags and separated bags so they would not bang into each other. The only complaint is the parking situation.

With that being said, I really do like this location. Having a scotch Irish family, we do have some drinkers. During Christmas I'll make the pilgrimage here. They have excellent holiday sets. Am grateful for these as, they add a bit of value and kindness to gifts. Am happy they allow the "Apple Pie Moonshine " to be sold. It's called that for nostalgia purposes, but this is a tasty treat. Their prices are higher due to being a government enterprise. Yet very nice employees at this store. They have a good selection of every booze group if that term is correct. Please be responsible, and don't drink and drive.

Came to pick up wines for a wine tasting party where we had specific criteria we wanted to meet…read more Instead of shopping 2-3 different stores and spending a ton of time browsing aisles and reading labels (and googling wine reviews?) we decided to head to Vienna Vintner, which we be passed by so many times and never entered. Vienna Vintner is a cute European looking line standing building across from big shopping plazas. It's built like a tavern with a partial loft/second floor upstairs with seating. The space is divided into a "tasting room" on the right and a wine store on the left. They apparently have wine tastings on the regular (I've been missing out!) Overall a really friendly place that's relaxed and pleasant. We were given a tour and helped immediately. We ended up winning an award for one of our wine choices, so these recommendations really hit the mark! Will definitely be back. I was also surprised by how affordable these wines are. I wasn't expecting to find any wines under $25 but ended up seeing quite a few in the $15 range. They also gave us a generous discount.
