I came into @thewineattic two weeks ago and had a wonderful experience! Everyone was very helpful in helping pick out some wines! They told me about all the regions they carry and even there wine club. They even held my wines that I picked up from a local vineyard while (Ie. In the warm car) I went to dinner. Okay, now this is one of the wines they recommended and let me tell you it was really good! Steininger! It's a Austria sparkling wine. This sparkling wine has a floral summery fruity aroma with a red summer fruit flavors with a touch of spice. I paired it with a strawberry spinach salad and sirloin steak. It paired very nicely. Definitely will be back for more wine thanks for the lovely experience. If your in the area or want to go and check them out, it's definitely worth the drive! I would also like to add that it's nestled in historic Clifton. Very cute town to explore! Cheers!

This little shop is located on the top floor of a building in downtown Clifton (close to the train tracks & across the street from the ice cream shop). It is definitely worth stopping by. The owner is super sweet, their selection is decent (they sell beer and other goodies too), and they have many reasonably-priced bottles ($15 range). They do samplings too!

Rose wine with 3 different cheeses & crackers!

Cool wine shop with small town vibes. Owner was very down to earth and helped us choose a new wine.

We started with the scallops and then had the gnocchi and pesto pasta. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could really tell that it was house-made. They also have a tasting menu that looked amazing and is definitely on my list for next time. The service was wonderful too. Our waitress was so friendly and made the whole experience even better. The highlight of the meal was easily the carrot cake with honey salted ice cream. Hands down the best carrot cake and ice cream combo I've ever had. Would recommend!

As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

Every staff member my friend and I asked questions to were eager to help us and bounced us off to a more informative staff member when we asked about certain wines. I wish I had gotten everyone's names, but David was the one we bothered the most haha. He was soooo helpful and incredibly knowledgeable and I appreciated his time and patience with us. After we checked out he even caught up to us outside and asked if we needed help loading the car! That was such a nice gesture and definitely not expected! I just moved to the area so it was such a pleasant experience and knowing my new local Total Wine has such great people in it makes me all the more excited to go there!

My problem wasn't what she asked, more specifically the condescending tone in which she spoke to me. So to say I won't be back, and understatement.
