Nothing but good things to say about my experience with Virginia Power Solutions!! I called on a weekend to have someone come out and give us an estimate on prices. I didn't think I would hear back until Monday but Kim Snider called me back the same day and got us scheduled! Bubba Nicely was very helpful, patient and understanding! He spoke to us like family This is an attribute missing in a lot of today's society. Marc Avinger was also very helpful. He was always prompt on emails and getting schedules to coincide. Garland and Peyton were very confident in their abilities which really eased my mind! Dealing with gas always has me on edge but their confidence made me very comfortable. They were very polite and patient with my many questions. Doug, Tyler & David were also very patient and respectful. They had tested the unit and everything was fine but my furnace didn't come on while the generator was running and I wanted to be sure it was going to work correctly so they ran the test again and waited until the furnace came on. It was very cold outside and I knew they were ready to leave but they readily eased my mind! I appreciate everyone on my team to get my generator installed and their exceptional work and attitude! I have an older Generac whole house standby generator that was having backfire issues on startup. I called VPS who scheduled a service call. The person I spoke with was helpful and friendly. The technician who came out was technically proficient, did a thorough inspection of the Generac and adjusted the valves. This was about a year ago and the Generac has been working fine since then. The reason for this good review, other than fixing the generator problem, is that the people at VPS are helpful. The cost for the service call was reasonable, there were no hidden service fees, and the technician arrived as scheduled. This level of service makes this company one of the better ones. read more

This is a company you will enjoy dealing with! They do as they say they will do, on schedule, with professional employees who clearly know their jobs. They stay on site until county inspection is done. And the inspector speaks highly of they quality of their work as well--and he sees a lot of their installations. HOWEVER, should they suggest Virginia Propane as your propane dealer, tell them no. Find another propane supplier. Virginia Propane is unresponsive, based now on 4 separate times of contacting them for services. Perhaps they are understaffed, sadly, not my problem. They are unable to deliver propane and rather cheerful about their inability to help the consumer. read more

Our service technician, Bahar, is friendly, prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and meticulous with his work, leaving everything functioning better and cleaner than he found it. I can only say that Brian Edwards was the best technician I have ever had come here. He is beyond good at his job. You can tell he cares about what he does and makes the customer feel important.
