Wish I could have given it more stars. Before I walked into Visage Salon, I was a complete mess. As you know, we've all been in quarantine. So like others, my hairs needed a lot of work. My appointment was with Matthew. Let me say that he is thorough, gentle, patient and down right the BEST hairstylist I've ever been too. My husband even said that he has never seen my hair look so awesome and healthy. I had a full head of highlights, roots done, pink added to the ends of my hair and a hair cut. I called for an appointment with this colorist. Don't want to mention her name. They called me back after three days to tell me that I needed to put a deposit before I come in. I had my hair done twice with the same girl the third time that I had an appointment, colorist decided to take someone before me I was sitting there for an hour waiting for her to finish her customer that she took before me. I had an appointment I thought that was not fair and I walked out the reason why I walked out. I was on a schedule because my husband at that time was receiving dialysis and I couldn't wait around for her to be done with a customer that she took before me, there's a reason why you making an appointment. I tried to give her another chance, and this is the way they treated me after the stylish was not professional and didn't do the right thing. I would never refer anyone to this salon. I record a lot of teachers and I will make sure that they know about this, I found a salon so much better manners and customer service skills. When you call there, it's like you're doing them a favor. What a lovely experience from start to finish! Everyone at the salon was very welcoming and Alyssa was too sweet. She was passionate and understanding and really wanted to make sure she made my experience worthwhile. She was friendly, patient and a true artist. She's very welcoming, which makes you feel at home. I can't recommend them. I came in on a Friday morning at 10:10 to have my hair blown out by Matt. He rushed bc he had another person come in and he finished in 25 mins. My hair is very thick and I could feel it was somewhat damp. So I told him and he dried a little more. By the time it was 5:00pm my hair looked liked I never blew it out. When I called Matt he wasn't apologetic and did offer to fix it either. Nice place but cant deliver quality service! read more

WOW! BEST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER! I had gotten my car towed to a shop nearby and passed by Visage. Thought I'd kill some time while my car was getting repaired. They were able to squeeze me in last minute. Loved that! My stylist was Alyssa, who was super friendly and peppy. I felt like I've known her for 5 years let alone 5 mins. Alyssa is a dream! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, gave great advice, and bonus, my curly blowout is on its 3rd day and still looks amazing! First, note that Visage has moved to Richmond Road off of Buel. I always had my pedicures done by Maggie at AF Bennett. She recently left there and for a moment, I was very concerned, until I found her at Visage. I am THRILLED! Maggie is the consummate professional. She pays attention to detail and she gets to know her clients. Since I've been going to her for a number of years, she knows that I have an issue with nerve damage in one foot and has worked closely with me in making sure that my pedicure is done in a manner that alleviates the issue. If you are looking for a great pedicure - definitely ask for Maggie. (But know that I have my appointments booked through December, as I know how hard it was to get an appointment with her at AF Bennett!) I understand that they will be building a private pedicure room for Maggie since that's what her clients were used to. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting in a wide recliner and not having to move any part of your body while getting a pedicure. She moves the chair and you just sit back and relax. I am definitely looking forward to the new room! Now, for Visage. The salon is upbeat, clean and friendly. It's not "snooty" and you don't have to feel like you need to get all dressed up and fully made up to walk in. AND, the price is very reasonable (much less than AF Bennett.) There is a positive energy that doesn't feel staged. And, there's no "up-selling" of products, so you don't walk up to the counter to find a stack of "recommended products" for you. This place is horrible !!! A stylist wasn't wearing a mask when she was working with a client and the client was walking around without one too. And the client was walking around saying I have the covid antibodies it's ok. And the owner and manager did nothing!!! Plus the stylist Melanie is horrible she should not be doing hair AT ALL!!! I would absolutely reccommend this place to anyone! I just got my hair done by Alyssa, she was such a phenomenal hairdresser! I got a last minute appointment and she accommodated me and was communicating very fast with me. I came in with Jet Black box dye hair.. and she lifted my hair to a beautiful caramel balayage. She was literally the sweetest most real hairstylist I've ever been to. This place from walking in to leaving the salon you feel so welcomed and refreshed. I very much disliked this salon! They did not wear there masks during COVID-19 and they gossiped about you in front of your face! They had no shame! They also looked at you like your crazy if they had a hard time working with your hair. They ripped your hair out if you had notts! They even talked about there work partners that was in the same room as them. I asked them for a trim and for only two inches. They gave me four! They said I needed it! They offer you anything when you arrive coffee water etc. I have had my hair done by only Jackie here. She is amazing. She has done up dos for me as well as highlighting. I recently experienced the best time with them for a wedding where they came to the house and did our hair. I have posted pics. I never got so many compliments in my life ! Like anytime you go to a new salon you are a bit apprehensive but meeting Jackie and her sweet personality you couldn't help but feel comfortable. Don't waste your money. I paid 250 dollars for a balayage, hair cut and a blowout. I walked out in tears because I did not get what I asked for. After showing Alyssa a photo of what I wanted she said okay no problem. Basically she colored my hair and used a toner that and I quote "SHE thought would look best" I was so upset because my hair was the perfect color before the toner. I was so upset that the picture was nothing like the outcome and no apology. Never again. read more

Normally wouldn't do this, but considering I'm sitting here at almost 2am on the second day of doing this ridiculous routine, I'd figure I speak up..... DO NOT waste your time/money. Not sure what kind of eye lash glue was used for formal makeup, but my false eye lashes are not coming off. I had to buy more individual lashes and figure out how to put them on bc I did not want to walk around like a moron since some are off but others are what it feels like permanently on!!! So now for the second night I am trying all types of remedies to get these fake eye lashes off. My eye lids are burning, and I've already lost a tonnnnnnn of my own lashes. This is the perfect ending to a horrible make up experience ... hair was so so. This place is wayyyyy overpriced too!! Actually they have nerve charging what they do... pretending they're worth $125 for makeup and $125 for hair? Took me two days to write this review because of my kindness towards others, but at 2am with an oil pad over my eye... I am livid. I should've just lit my money on fire.
