I moved to Salt Lake in March and wasn't sure where to go for a great hair stylist. My husband (reason for move) suggested going to Kacie Hersh at Visage Salon. She is PHENOMENAL. I have never had a better stylist. The first time I went to Kacie, I told her I wanted to do something daring -- take my platinum locks to a deep red. I was nervous -- obviously my hair could have turned pink. My hair was beautiful! She was able to match the shade perfectly for my skin tone -- I didn't look washed out, in fact, it made my complexion look better and I looked more tan with the hue. I've been going to Kacie and her assistant, Heidi, ever since -- we've added back some blonde, gone deeper red, and every single time, it turns out perfectly. Kacie is an extremely talented colorist -- I really have never been more happy with my hair. It's always soft, and it is getting healthy again. She is great at layering my hair so that it falls perfectly as well. Everywhere I go, I get compliments on my hair color -- and it doesn't fade. After my first time there, I believed it would easily be $150-$200, but it was completely affordable! I've paid the same for hair dresser's that do not touch her ability. Kacie and Heidi are warm and friendly, in fact, every single person that I have met who works there is warm and friendly. The salon is stylish, and the stylists work in individual rooms -- which I like far better than a community feeling. It is a very clean environment, and they are extremely accomodating with my schedule (employed full time, step mom, speaker for the American Heart Association). Kacie and Visage are also constantly giving back to the community. they donate time, effort, and their abilities to fundraisers for amazing causes. They are all around good people that are exceptional at what they do. I highly recommend VISAGE SALON if you want someone who is experienced and talented. read more

I went to Audrey Miner and she's terrible. First of all, she was late for the appointment. She didn't even apologize. She seemed very hauty and full of herself. Her haircut was terrible. it was dated looking. I ended up looking like I was in an 1980's flashback. There were pieces of hair sticking out all over the place. When I went to work the next day, everyone thought I looked terrible. And she gave me highlights. I wanted honey colored highlights but that's not what I got. they ended up a bright orange. And she brags that shes a master haircutter. I think that this is only a small, side job for her. I think that shes out of practice because this is a very part time job. I actually saw her working in a nightclub. But I didn't want her to see me because I was just going to tell her shes not a good stylist. oh, and she was always on Facebook. maybe she should focus more on haircutting instead of facebook. And maybe she could be a better hairstylist. read more

I needed a hair appointment and wanted to get in right away so I called and had an appointment scheduled within minutes. I told Kacie how I would like it done and upon arrival I was immediately welcomed and had the opportunity to browse through colors she found fitting for my desired look. I choose my color, sat down and got started right away. Kacie knew exactly what to do to match the color to my natural hair, to make a perfectly seamless and blended look. We had some great conversations and she did an awesome job. I was very nervous but, my hair turned out just how I wanted. Visage is a very friendly environment with a warm and welcoming feeling. All employers are very kind and care about your personal needs. Each hair stylist has their own rooms giving it a much more personalized feeling. It was a comfortable experience, a salon I would definitely return to and recommend to anyone in need of a great hair stylist. read more

LOVE Visage, after my journey of finding the right hair stylist, I have been to many salons, which are all the same! I always felt very uncomfortable, in a big room of gabby divas. Visage is so personal with your stylists, each stylists have their own suite, decorated on their own, its so fun to walk by each one. The location is easy to get to, and what's better than Sugar House? The best part about Visage, is Suzanne Gallegos works there : ) I have tried a handful on stylists, and have always been more than disappointed! She listens to exactly what I am going for, and I do not make sense usually! She is so fun to talk to, I always look forward to seeing her. She is fast, in a good way! I know I can plan other things after my salon appointment, she wont have you in a chair for what seems 6 hours at other places. I HIGHLY recommend Suzanne!! read more

I was in need of some hair love, in a serious way. My boyfriend is great friends with Kaci, and suggested her. Well, I already adore the heck out of her, so I gave it whirl. My hair feels and looks fantastic, the cut, the color, everything. I love it! She definitely gave my hair the treatment it deserved and needed. The salon, is fantastic! Clean, beautiful, comfortable and very inviting. Each stylist has their own room, which makes the experience for the customer feel personal. I normally don't write reviews online, but after I visited Visage Salon I felt compelled to do so. This was my very first appointment and the staff was very friendly and attentive upon my arrival. My appointment was scheduled with a lady named Kacie and she did an amazing job styling and coloring my hair as a first-time client. (I would like to add that I have very curly hair and its not easy to style) I'm so excited to find a place where they know what they are doing and I would give my highest recommendation to any person looking to receive the best service in the Salt lake area. I recently got a hair cut from Sharlene and it was great! She is extremely professional and skilled. I was surprised to find that she even has her own facebook page! I have extremely thick and bushy hair that I'm trying to grow out a bit. She is the only one I have been to that can keep the length yet make it so my head doesn't look like a mushroom. I have been going to Visage Salon for 10+ yrs and have never been disappointed. Kacie is friendly and listens to what you want. She also has suggestions if you have any concerns about your hair. I got Eyelash Extensions at In Bloom Studio at Visage Salon. Catherine did a great job. I got some colored and even a few glitter lash extensions and they were so fun! I got tons of compliments! The environment at Visage is really cool with all the private studios. I would recommend getting lashes done there! read more
