Been shopping here for years, both for my profession as a contractor and for individual needs. They always have what I need. May not be the brand I prefer 50% of the time, but still of high quality. But they always have it. I've finally decided to leave a review after this Mother's Day due to the extremely great service I've been receiving for years but this year they had extremely thoughtful gift bags for mothers. So I brought one home to my wife and she was thrilled with what they had so generously packed for her. The gesture was extremely thoughtful and reminded me of why little stores like ACE are still important and the back bone of this town of ours. read more

After being direspectfully shunned by the smaller family hardware nearby for daring to ask for curbside pick up, Vision Ace has become my new favorite hardware. On Wednesday May 27, 2020 i went to Vision Ace Hardware on Cape Coral Parkway. NO ONE was wearing a mask both workers and customers. So I decided not shop there! Felt very unsafe! Left Immediately had to use amazon to purchase what I needed. I will not patronize places that do NOT insure my safety. How does this place not have a good review yet? Love this place! Long story short....I went in a couple of months ago, shopping for some way to hang an unusual item from a really tall tree. The guys in there were so helpful. They spent so much time trying to help me figure it out....even rigging up something custom for me once they quickly realized how not handy I am! I've been a few times since and am never disappointed. So sick of the big box stores lack of customer service and knowledgeable staff. This is my new hardware store. read more

I like smaller hardware stores and as I was in area stopped in looking for mop head. Didn't have the one I was looking for but they do have so many other items from gardening, household, nuts, bolts, and paint. Plenty of off street parking. Great store. read more

I like this place. First off it's convenient, and the sales people are friendly and helpful. Sure you can get some things cheaper at Walmart or Home Depot but not all. They do have their deals and they do have plenty of staff around ready to help you. My only complaint is I have had keys cut here before that didn't work, but that can happen anywhere I guess and they stood behind their work and redid them for me. Best part is easy parking, easy in and out, no lines, no waiting. I'll pay a little extra for that any day. read more

The staff are always rude. Lack experience and knowledge in regard to tools and products. The young girls eat while at the register. Are belligerent. They do not value customer service. Or the business brought to the establishment that pays their pay checks. Plus ACE marks up their products more than any other Hardware Store. The attitudes of the employees reflect totally on the manager of the store. Unbelievable! I own Cape Cleaners just down the road from this place and we buy stuff all the time - both for the business and personally. I WILL NEVER, EVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME HERE. I showed up as they were closing in need on one 3/8 x 2 1/2' bolt and the 3 guys locking up would not accommodate me, even though I told them I was desperate (I had to repair a piece of equipment so we could operate in the morning). "Lame" is about my best word to describe this place. Not only do they not have a good selection of products which I guess I can understand because its such a dinky small operation..but, just about EVERYTHING is overpriced. Nothing is ever on sale when I am forced to buy here... because the major hardware stores are across town. And just today to top it off I looked at my receipt and low and behold a BBQ sauce for $5.99 was on it, which I never bought nor was in my bags. Weird! This place is weak, plain and simple, so take the extra 15 min and drive the other major stores. read more

I continue to be disappointed, 1 snotty cashier, I avoid her, expensive, usually only shop there because it's close, often not enough floor staff, have to go looking for help, they do have alot of items, surprised at some things they don't have, never see activity in BBQ, Stihl and furniture areas, btw. read more

I go there or not for the big selection or low prices but for the fact that I know that there are people there that will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need.
