You can get hardware to paints, cooking grills, fertilizers and many other items. Today, we went in and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful as always. Excellent service here! I use to hate Ace the place just annoyed me not this Ace all the Aces the older you get though the more you want ppl that know what the shit they are talking about and will help out . Now I can't speak for all the Aces just this one because we do have one in Michigan and they are a bunch of ding bats to be fair though The water in that area was poised back is 62 that a whole other story anyway these guys are good quick and friendly as all get up.. The old man out front on the weekends throw him a dollar for God sake he goes around finding pins with the American flag or Army or Marines and sits out there and sells them and donates the money to A charity. Three stars for Gavin's Ace Hardware because they haven't done anything wrong in all the times I've been in this store. I don't want to give them a full four or five stars as sometimes it is hard to find someone working the right department when you need help. Overall, the store is always clean but packed with customers. Everything is laid out nicely and it's easy to find the item you need (or lack there of, as sometimes they are sold out). I think that's why the employees go help out in every corner of the store? They know there is opportunity to have a conversation with someone, regardless of what it is. Although, the employees do have their specialities, so they struggle a little bit in telling you which product is better than something else. I give them credit though; they can be helpful in persuading you on what they personally would prefer. It's funny when you get a few employees in on the conversation because they all have a different opinion. But, I usually end up walking out with exactly what I needed and not over paying on something I might feel weird about later. I've visited this Ace on numerous occasions and have always been greeted with a pleasant smile and acknowledgment. Every employee I've encountered has been most helpful, courteous, and friendly. I'm no "Tim the Toolman", but I do know good quality tools, and this place has them. With quality names such as Craftsmen, DeWalt, and Milwaukee, one can find almost any tool that matches your chore and pocketbook. If hardware is what you're looking for, they have it with all sizes of nails, screws, nuts/washers, and carriage bolts. If your needing to replace that leaky faucet choose from several options with high quality Moen products. There's a lot of grills and smokers to choose from too. I bought a nice portable Weber gas grill and the optional fuel hose to LP tank and LP tank for my Holiday pyrotechnic enjoyment (grilling hotdogs and hamburgers folks...ok maybe pyrotechnic is a little too strong :) ). They refill propane tanks and you can get a card that they'll stamp on each refill - buy 5 (20lb or 30lb) and get your 6th free! I love this place and highly recommend you check them out. Went right I. Have a friendly staff ready and willing to help us. Really nice store if they don't have it you done need it! I read some of the reviews and there has to be a way to remove the reviews from Covid and the dumb MASK comments. I was an essential worker before I retired and we didn't wear masks out in the warehouse, only in the office and half of them worked from home. I have always had the best experiences at Ace Hatdware and this one was no exception! Was looking to purchase a big green egg. The manager was very helpful in locating one in the storage area and arranging delivery. The sales associate was so helpful with suggesting which accessories would be the best to get with the grill. Let me start by saying. I am an immune compromised senior and when in a store , I wear a mask for my safety (not political). I was in Gavin to have a key made and the older, large bearded salesman in the back basically gave me the bums rush. He was rude and abrupt and I suspect he thought I was making a political statement by wearing a mask. I politely turned around and left the store vowing to take my business elsewhere. This mask mentality really has me scratching my head. The reviews being left by the people flipping out because employees aren't forced to wear masks are ridiculous. You think a face diaper is the safety net for COVID? Wrong. Unless you are changing out your masks every single time you touch it, it's nothing but a Petri dish, on both sides. But yet, there you are, adjusting it, touching things, touching it again and again and again. Only to remove it and put in your purse, your pocket, your car. Ask yourself this simple question. Have the people who have died, died strictly of COVID? And for those folks, did they wear masks? Probably. COVID is here to stay. Learn that having COVID is not a death sentence. Get it and move and leave the people who choose not to wear a mask alone. And if they are the tool for prevention, turn yours inside out and protect yourself. Or stay home. This place has a great selection. Even if their electrical items. BBQs too. But be prepared to pay 30% or more when compared to the big box stores. The parking lot has lots of parking but needs to be paved in some spots. read more

Not really impressed...went to buy paint and asked for a few suggestions not being a local resident, and the guy basically said "here's what we have and you choose what you want..." Not really a helpful hardware man response. I'm a slow learner, but I'm slowly getting the picture in FL that customer service in practically any business down here is give the bare minimum to get this person out of my hair.... I'll buy my paint at the Benjamin Moore store from now on... Can't cost more ( They are 10.00 a gal cheaper for the same product...) and I text them a pic and it's ready when I get there.... read more

They are an authorized repair for craftsman and I can tell you from personal experience HELL NO! I brought my edger that was a hard start and was under warranty to them. I didn't hear anything for a week so I called them and they said "oh yeah there's water in your gas so no warranty it will be $150 to fix." I have never had water in anything. My John Deere zero turn just happened to be at Everglades in Fort Meyers getting an oil change and blades. I called them immediately because I use the same gas can and gas for everything. They checked for me and said nope no water. I poured gas from my can into a jar and checked it. I called them back and said nothing else has water and it was a hard start from day one. It did start occasionally and when it did it didn't smoke or anything. I said I will pick it up. Later that evening I went in to pick it up and it was in PIECES! I was shocked. I said I will be back to pick it up when you put it back together. When I went back the next day they brought out a giant pickle jar filled with fluid. It was dark yellow in the bottom which isn't even the color of gas and had a TON of water in the top! I said that is a total farce! My edger won't even hold that much liquid! I finally got a manager and he did give me my $35 back. I am so mad though. It gives NO indication that it will ever start again. It used to try to start now and now nothing. It is now a gate prop. There is something wrong with this repair shop. It has given me a bad taste in my mouth for Ace. I have always supported them even though they are pricey compared to other places but that has changed. read more

They have knowledgeable people on their staff who are happy to answer questions and help you find or select the right item to complete whatever project you are working on. The inventory of hard to find items is amazing. Keys cut? Yes. Paint? yes. etc. If you need to fix something, it's the place to go. Also a great place to refill your propane tanks. read more

Do not recommend going here. Whilst in the process of buying $100's of dollars in paint for a renovation staff surrounded us at one point acting as if we had stolen something. Very few employees wear masks. Considering that they deal with the public, this is a risk to other shoppers. I asked for help, and the employee wanted me to follow him down an aisle.
