These people are very nice and good at what they do. I recently saw Dr Ghandi and she determined my cataracts were very bad and I needed surgery. They recommend PCLI, Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute here in Olympia. After calling them and leaving 2 messages with no response and reading their reviews, I tried Rudd Vision in Puyallup. I would highly recommend going there if you need surgery. They got me in and did both of my eyes about a week apart, they are AWESOME! I would highly recommend making the drive if you really care about your eyes. I finally got a return call from PCLI a week later. I hope they read this and improve their office skills. It's not like I was calling a shop to have my tires replaced. If you're not competent enough to return 2 messages that reflects on the entire operation. If you get a referral, make sure you ask for Dr Rudd in Puyallup. read more

Updating the review from last year. Great experience with the eye doctor and staff but the entire reason I picked this location was because they were open Saturdays which was super important to me as a healthcare professional working long week day hours who gets very limited PTO. They are open later on Tuesdays but honestly the last thing I want to do after work is rush to the doctors office. There's a medium sized selection but most of the frames are very expensive so since my insurance doesn't cover frames every year, I got a script to buy online. My current frames are terrible (not their fault- they did break once but were replaced as they come with a warranty which is great). Between to construction (which I overlooked as its definitely not their fault) and the hours change, I am on the hunt for yet another eye doc. read more

Every single staff member I've encountered here is wonderful. Saw me right away when I had a horrible, extremely painful allergic reaction to eye medication prescribed elsewhere. I was in so much pain we didn't even wait for the appointed time and just drove there early. They were incredibly understanding and got me back very quickly. The doctor on call later that evening after hours when additional steroids were needed was very nice and responsive. And after realizing today I left my toiletries bag at a hotel this morning, they had replacements sent in within five minutes. Just an all-around awful week for me, and they have been nothing but kind and efficient. They really, really take care of patients here, and service like this seems almost impossible to find these days. Thank you so much. read more

I was a long time (25+ years) of Dr Michael Moore. A couple years ago, he sold his practice to Vision Health and became semi-retired. His old office operated until February and is now consilidated into Vision Health and at their new digs. This is a big change from his office. Vision Health has three O.D.s and testing equipment the old office did not have. On my first visit to the new location I was impressed with the size of the facility. The pace of the visit seems quicker than before. My hope is the same one-on-one feel remains somehow. At least I have my friend and, super tech Sue, to help that. read more

I tend to only write reviews for places that stand out. This clinic does more than that. I've worn glasses for over 4 decades and been to many optometrists, so I know that I've found a gem. I went there a few months ago for my eye exam and ordered eyeglasses. They came within a week and I'm very happy with the results. The optometrist and support staff were professional, friendly and understanding of my needs. So much so, that when my mother needed an exam, it was the easiest recommendation ever! Do NOT go here! It looks great and everyone is very nice but its a rip off. They offered a test as part of my yearly eye exam but failed to tell me that insurance didn't cover it. I tried to get a bid for new eyeglasses and the lady waiting on me kept insisting on expensive add-ons. The place was empty the whole time I was there. Now I know why. read more

Absolutely recommend this place. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a friendly smiling face. A warm atmosphere and very clean. A wide variety of very cool frames are set up around the office. My daughter needed her glasses adjusted and we had literally NO wait time! It was fast and very professional. I will be going back when I need new glasses! It was a very pleasant experience! I have been going to vision health since i started wearing glasses, about 10 years now. I love this establishment. Everyone there is always so nice and helpful, and the place is so clean. i wanted to give a shout-out to the Optical Lead, Madison. I got to my appointment early and had some extra time on my hands so i was just looking at the glasses. Madison came and took the the time to ask what style i liked and what i was looking for. i told her a rough ballpark of what i was looking for, and then got called back for my appointment. when i came back out of my appointment to pick out new frames, Madison had so many frames picked out for me that matched my description i gave her. She found me my favorite pair of glasses i have ever had. Madison really took the time to listen, and she really was attentive and professional. She made me experience picking out glasses so fun and so easy... and kept it in my price range. i am very happy with my experience and have nothing but good things to say about the workers in this office. thank you all, and thank you madison for helping me and being so sweet and patient. 10/10 recommend. read more

On a Saturday morning half hour before they were ready to close, I called to see if the doctor could see me. I have scratch the cornea of my eye doing yardwork and my current optometrist was closed. The front staff were very accommodating and with in 30 minutes I saw Dr. German. Dr. German with a very far out in both examination of my eye and the explanation of my injury. Dr. German will definitely be my optometrist in the future. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. The facility is beautiful and follows Covid protocol, the staff are friendly and welcoming and Dr German was wonderful. read more

Wow, hideous experience! Was seen in 4/21 for an exam and after four attempts at getting my glasses correct, they were not able to succeed. 1) They 'forgot' to process the initial pair with my progressive prescription. 2) The new frames I was coerced into choosing, had a dent in them. 3) The second new pair of frames were broken -- during the adjustment -- by 'a new person'. And this after waiting more than two weeks for a 'new' replacement. 4) The replacement for the employee/damaged previous frames did not arrive with lenses!!! Finally, I requested a refund. My patience ran out. Nor did they apologize. Ever. They just keep forcing you to wait for 'replacements'. Yet, the replacements were all wrong too. Do yourself a favor and avoid the scam. Btw, I took my rx to Fred Meyer and saved $400. These people are operating a seemingly legal racket. read more

We've been to a few vision places in the area in search for a thorough, helpful, and kind eye doctor. We found what we were looking for in Vision Health. They found an issue with my daughter's eyes that no one else found. I don't ever want anything to be wrong with my children, but I'm glad to know what's going on. The staff in each department has been kind and helpful from billing, glasses fitting/ordering, teaching my daughter to put in contacts, eye injury for my other daughter, and the doctors -- we've been impressed! I can't recommend them enough! My parents now go here, and a handful of friends! read more

They were so kind compassionate and accommodating. I had a really bad eye injury and I wasn't their patient, but because I was in so much pain, the receptionist booked me to come see them immediately. I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving and they took care of me. They gave me lidocaine drops and put a bandage over my eye...it was badly scratch. My pain went from an 8 to a 2 for minor discomfort. I was in and out in 30 minutes. read more

I went here because they are a dealer for Oakleys. I had my prescription and cash to purchase two pairs of glasses.... One clear lens with my prescription and one pair in sun glasses in my prescription. The receptionist told me I had to make an appointment. So patrons beware.... Make an appointment to spend your money with this Oakley dealer.... if you don't..... You won't be able to buy any glasses. What terrible customer service. I was only in town until Thursday and Costco didn't have openings until Friday. I looked online and I saw that this place had the best reviews from the places I visited. I was warmly welcomed as soon as I walked in. As for the examination, Kayla helped me before Dr. Baxter took over. She was amazing. She was very knowledgeable in what she was doing, and best of all she was confident. She answered all the questions I had and was very nice. She is very well trained, I say this because she was doing a lot of the examinations that another doctor did at my old optician. Amazing work overall! Dr. Baxter made me feel very comfortable and quickly realized my eyes were over diagnosed and I didn't have the correct lenses for my glasses. He was great! read more

Went there, and found great service. they had difficulty with my presctription, and ended up changing my prescription 3 times. I found out it was my frames "i gave them a sunglass frame that just didnt work out for no line bifocals" that was the problem so ended up buying 2 frames to fix the problem. Great service read more

You will be hard pressed To find a negative review on this clinic. And now I know why! I had a great experience setting up my appointments for myself and my two kids....there was a scheduling mishap that would have normally irritated me, but the amazing staff understood how disruptive scheduling issues can be for a family and immediately took steps to fix the error and recognize my frustration...which, strange enough, left me happier with this place after I had a minor issue! My youngest (4) and I just had our appointment and I won't bore you with details, but this place is incredible! The tech was sweet and so good with my little guy. Dr Woolsey was incredible! He is competent and friendly and takes advantage of teaching points which I totally appreciate! I walked in, was greeted by a very friendly receptionist, and was seen almost right away by Kayla who was very helpful and informative. There wasn't much waiting for me because as soon as Kayla was done, the doctor walked in. She was so nice! She kept talking to me and kept me entertained with good conversation. I would recommend everybody to go there. I've never had such great service at any other doctors office! UPDATE: My son had an appointment with a young male doctor. I didn't go in, so when he had a question about family history, he came out to talk to me, then explained his prescription and everything that it meant. Even the man that had his glasses fitted, was fantastic! My son was so comfortable, and it was the first time he went in alone. Oh, and they email you on your birthday! read more

I think the optical department is really good. They have always been super helpful and gone out of their way to make sure I get what I want. Their eyewear selection keeps getting better, too. The front desk and billing staff is also really professional, warm and human. In terms of the actual eye appointments, I sometimes feel like there is a bit of an upsell - for more expensive contacts, or new procedures. My prescription is not always perfect, but I don't really think that is their fault, since I am the one telling them what I can see and can't see on the chart. I don't love the religious overtones of the place. I tolerate it, because it's a private business and it's their right, and they never proselytize, but it still is always this mild turn-off for me. read more

The doctor who examined me made sure all of my questions were answered. Also, the office is really great with trial contact lenses and gives you two options to see which you prefer. I wish I could do two reviews. The Drs are fantastic, and in the past I haven't even balked at the cost of my glasses, which is significant here. But my experience this year has pushed me to not go back. I needed to have special handling with my glasses since I had lost my last pair and am traveling, but the answer was sorry, they will be going snail mail that is what we do. These glasses were over $1000 mind you. In any event. If you need anything over and above, the answer is no and when I am paying a premium, I expect premium service. I did not get it. read more

The receptionist was personable and welcoming, the tech, Caitlin, was very efficient and gentle, and Dr. Woolsey was knowledgeable, patient, and had a kind demeanor. The technology was impressive and Dr. Woolsey made sure to explain it in terms I could understand. The insurance part was very confusing to me as I am double covered, but they were able to tell me what kind of coverage I had before I participated in any services.
