I will be honest, when I do get a reading, I'm extremely picky about who reads me and one of the readers here (not going to call her out because she still works here) is part of the reason why. At the time I got a reading from this person I was in the midst of getting over an emotionally abusive relationship and the psychic here made me feel really bad about requesting a reading from her. I guess my energy was off and she just didn't want to be near me. She gave off the impression that giving me a reading was a chore...umm, I'm paying you, it's not like I'm asking you to read me for free. Not only that but she couldn't even pick up that he was a bad person. She just said something like he wants a partner like his mother and that we simply weren't right for each other and how he'll end up with someone who better fits his needs. No offense, but this is probably the worst thing you could say to someone who is trying to get over a codependent relationship and whose self-esteem is shot. Nevermind the fact that this ex is a classic, textbook narcissist (I realize this term gets thrown around a lot, but trust me, he IS) and was horrific towards me during our time together. Perhaps this is revealing my immature "soul age" and how far off I am from enlightenment because I don't know how you can perceive my ex as a harmless, troubled soul who simply wants a woman who reminds him of his mother. *eye roll* Anyway, it actually bothers me how this psychic acted towards me after my last reading with her as I felt very self-conscious around her presence and didn't wish to go to the store during her hours there. Btw, she told me to email her about something (I think she wanted to send me a meditation link), but when I did she completely blew me off (!). I realize these psychics aren't my friends and I try not to be too personal with anyone I don't know well, but if I really made you uncomfortable, why would you give me your card and tell me to email you? Found this gem in my lunch break. Wanted a little crystal to give me confidence for the next couple days at work. Was greeted when I walked in with smiles and the smell of warm incense. I came here for the first time to get a birthday gift for a friend and was immediately greeted by how lovely the store smelt. The vibes here felt really light and peaceful. Vicky, who was working there, was also really welcoming and connecting! There's a big range of items here from crystals, incense, books, cds, jewelry, and readings offered here. Brandon, one of the store owners, was there today too, and he was incredibly gracious. It seems like those who work with him, love him and I love seeing mutual respect and love between employees and employers. I also got to have a spontaneous reading with Therese, and she was so lovely to sit with. I've never had a reading before, and she was so gifted with what she sensed and picked up. I really felt like she was connecting me to my guides and guidance they had for me with what I needed at the time. I came, looking for a crystal pendant to wear, but baffled on how to choose. Jewelry is quite personal for me, I felt overwhelmed. Sweet Daphne was there to help customers with their questions and purchases. But unknowing to me, she is also a gifted intuitive who does readings at the store. She approached me, already knowing what was right for my needs, and I must say, she is indeed who she says she is; her brief encounter with me was insightful, comforting and reminded me of a pseudo Long Island Medium reading. Yes, she did a brief reading as I stood there. And I have worn my pendant daily since, a beautiful, almost oval shaped, unadorned rose quartz with imperfect streaks that are beautiful to behold. I absolutely love this store. I have been coming here for over a year, and it's my favorite metaphysical/new age store in the area. They have a customer appreciation sale the third weekend of every month--everything is 20% off except consignment items!! I didn't realize they had this sale until I came in yesterday, and I got an even better deal than usual! (Their prices are already excellent) I just have to say that Mary is such a sweet and adorable person! She's pretty much always working the register when I come in. She's very knowledgeable-- I swear she's like a metaphysical encyclopedia. She's obviously very passionate about people and what she does. All of the psychic readers I have seen are fantastic. This is the sister store to Awakenings in Laguna Hills. Although I loved Visions and Dreams prior to them being acquired by Brandon and Lori Camacho I cant say the same now. In my experience they have several readers that do NOT work for the light and those readers will tell you just enough to keep you coming (which is not in integrity.) If they were licensed by a governing agency they would be out of business. There are better stores with way better reputations I recommend you give your money and trust to. Crystal Cave is one of them. Good hearted, honest people with integrity and community goals and values should be what you're looking for in this type of business and there are very few here. Here you will find lots of readers with "abilities" but zero conscious and they will talk badly about your behind your back. I've seen it for myself of others clients personal information openly discussed in the middle of the store. And their excuse that those readers haven't done any healing classes, is an excuse to not be accountable for harming others at the expense of money and sadly to pay for the owners $100k Tesla's with staff complaining of making very little, to boot. read more
