I have been coming to this Visionworks location since 2022 for all my eye exams. Dr. Butchey and her team are excellent. They go above and beyond in providing the best quality care to their patients. A week ago I had LASIK done on both of my eyes; going to see Dr. Butchey for the pre-op and post-op visits really put me at ease with the entire process. After my post-op visit, I only realized that I made a mistake with my scheduled appointment day until I saw the texts that my appointment day/time was updated. I showed up a day too early yet Dr. Butchey and her assistant were still kind enough to see me anyway. They really are the best! read more

So I stopped in to this Visionworks I hope I have the right one located near Cane's Chicken because my sort of expensive sunglasses lost the screw out of the arm and the little thing you put the screw in was bent. I was met by miracle yes that's her name and she was very nice and they said they could fix it in 15 minutes I waited but I had another appointment so I left but then came back and the gentleman was there and he took my glasses and he unbent the little metal part and look for a screw that would fit perfectly he had to cut one down and then attach the arm to my sunglasses I absolutely no charge! He and Miracle were very nice very kind funny very professional! I highly recommend!!! read more

Been going here for YEARS !! And this is the FINAL STRAWL ! I popped in when this store opened today just to find out where my husband and I was at with our plans, reasons being we both wanted to update our PERSCRIPTIONS and GLASSES. There was only Carlos and no other staff and the phone was ringing off the hook and service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Carlos not only was overwhelmed but couldn't find my husbands information or mine whatsoever. He then stated I haven't purchased there before. Well... Wrong again! I've stated we spent alot of money there over the years. Come to find out he did look up our information and found us. I've decided that it was best to take our business elsewhere due to all our issues with this Location and that's exactly what I did 24 hours later. Well... it got worse. The new place of business I went to couldn't look up our insurance information reason being Carlos had a hold on the accounts and needed to release them. So, I needed to call him and he once again was overwhelmed and short staffed and said he would release the information in the next 15-30 minutes. Well... He did mine only and not my husbands. I then called Carlos again and he was rude and stated he never pulled up my husbands information. A Lie Again. So I personally had to call the insurance for them to do the release for the new store to look up his information. They were on my plan but I would rather pay for LensCrafters which I have gone to for years and they know my history, then go to Visionworks which was on my plan but they don't know what they're doing. read more

I wear progressive lenses and have had issues with a focal point that was way to low, they listened and when i got my new glasses they have been great, I can read the computer without looking at the sky. I have used Americas Best in the past and always had issues with poor quality and cheap lenses. My Visionworks glasses are great. Only real issue I had was cost. Not Cheap!! This place is great I've never been to a Visionworks before until my insurance switched I used to previously go to LensCrafters, this place is highly affordable and they take VERY safe precautions in dealing with the COVID-19 fallout. I could've seen this coming, but I never received our glasses! May 15 of this year my wife and I went and got her on examinations and we were going to order frames and have a prescription filled at Visionworks. I exam was OK my wife and I of course picked out the most expensive frames in the shop. But luckily they would not start work on the prescription filling until we paid in full, which would have been approximately $1400. We have some to hold our potential items and went home, I had an idea and I looked up online, starting with Amazon, and I found the same exact frames That we were being charge $600 for each one was $130 so per $300. I saved $900 that's not the point of the story though, the point of the story is today is July 19, it's one month today And we still have not received or finished I glasses. But two weeks ago I called up to see if the glasses were ready and they had told me one pair was ready for my wife so we decided to wait till they both were done to go pick them up. Later that day, I received a phone call from Visionworks telling me that the lab had screwed up and put my prescription in her frames and said don't worry we'll have these two sets of finished frames here in a couple of days, couple days went by about a week went by and I called, and they seemed like I was inconveniencing them to find out where the botched prescriptions were. I called back yesterday because online says that my wife's glasses are finished and they said when I called that they were finished but we don't have them yet so you'll have to come down Thursday or Friday will let you know and that my glasses wouldn't be ready until Thursday or Friday either. Feeling upset I asked the general manager to find out why my classes would be, not ready after five weeks because it had nothing to do with my wife's glasses being messed up. Mine should've been ready at the 7 to 10 days like they tell us. He had no idea, so I hung up the phone and I called corporate office explain the whole scenario to them, they were a little help, but she told me she will find out what was going on. I told her at this point please have our frames ready to be picked up on Thursday and we will take our prescription and our lenses to another shop that have a lab on site so we can get our glasses in an hour or less. I'm on the last note corporate found out that my glasses would not be ready this week that they wouldn't be ready until at least 31 July, and that would be a total of nine weeks. I understand things happen mistakes are made but as a seller I need to know why and as a consumer I have a right to know why what's going on so I can make a decision on what's best for me and my family. My wife and I have received a voice is there before with little or no issues, my issue was really not that the classes weren't ready my issues with the fact that they could care less on trying to make it better. I was inconveniencing them with my request to find out why this is happening. Hopefully frames will be ready to be picked up. And I could collect them and go elsewhere where I'm not made to feel that I'm causing trouble and then I'm a valuable customer. My price if I were to give anybody any advice is that if you have other options, exercise them stay away from Visionworks, and especially their general manager who told me three times I don't know why. Over 2 weeks ago I had eye exam to get new glasses. I provided them with an expensive frame to put the new leans. I also purchased a second set of glasses. I received the second set and not the frames I provided. Today I receive a call that they can not find my order. This is totally unacceptable. They said just come in and we will get you another frame. How can you get one set of glasses and not the other? I will never use them again and suggest no one else use them. read more

Went in for an eye exam 2 weeks ago for contacts. Optometrist said they would order my trial lenses and call me early the following week. After no call all week I called on a Saturday (exactly one week after the exam) and was told my lenses would be ordered and be in by Wednesday. I called this last Saturday (2 weeks now) and was told that they didn't know what happened but they would call back. Waited 2 hours and called back. Was told they would call me back to let once she talked to the doctor. Still no call and no prescription so I can go somewhere else. read more

I've always been told that my expectations are too high... really? Is it too much to ask to be considerate of people and their time? for the second time I call this place in advance and make an appointment (in this case a Saturday at 4 pm). Now, I rush to get their ten min early as any first time patient would. Upon arrival, I'm greeted and given paperwork to fill in. Another person is already waiting. Finish with the docs and I take a seat. Few minutes later, I thought to ask if the Dr is on time. "Oh no, his 3:30 appointmen is still waiting"... Now, is it so difficult to have given a courtesy call, or at time of arrival, or when I gave my papers to the lady, to have someone tell me that the Dr is running late and if I care to wait??? I get that doctors are busy but my time is important too, A little respect for others, is that too much to ask for? read more

I've been wearing contacts for over 15 years and so I've seen a lot of doctors and Dr. Rhea is one of the best! I can't give her all the credit though because even though she's great, this is the first store that I found that the whole staff is great! It's been a while since I been here but now have the chance to yelp about this place. I am amazed that they can maintain a license to fill eyeglass prescriptions I think my 7 year old grandson couldn't do any worst. I had made 2 pairs of glasses at the same time the sunglasses the lens had a chip missing at the top of the lens. the regular glasses had a gouge about a half in long right in the middle on one lens and the other lens looked like you were looking at one of those fun house mirrors. I brought them back within 15 minutes and I was first accused of me doing all those damages. I then pointed out the fact that it's only been 15 minutes and I am a grown man and how in the world could I make a lens distort. After going back and forth with this they agreed to take care of the problem but had to send out to have my glasses done from another store since the person who did them at that store simply did not have the ability to make a pair of glasses while not damaging them. read more

I have had the worst experience in this store. I ordered a pair of glasses and they came back looking like they didn't fit in the frames. I said something to them about it but they didn't seem to care and I was going out of town so I had to deal with it since I had just lost my own glasses. I overheard a lady and the manager (named Miles) talking and the women accused the kid manager Miles of being unprofessional and rude and I didn't really tune in- however my glasses (after 2 weeks) started to make a bubble like formation in the lens and I couldn't see well at all so I brought them back. ( now mind you I complained about the NEW GLASSES seeming blurry right after I received them- but they told me to give my eyes time to adjust) But that's another story--- So... They fixed the bubbled up lens (another friendly lady that day) and I picked them up. Then about a month and half later the same lens started peeling. Now mind you I am over 35 years old and having been wearing glasses since 6th grade- and have never had this issue~ however when I brought them back the Manager Miles accused me of scratching the lens by cleaning it with the cloth that comes with glasses. I kid you not. He asked me what I cleaned then with and I told him and he blamed that. He was looking for any reason to blame me. I told him I am certain that it wasn't that because this happened before to the same lens. He actually kept arguing until I had to finally say "Listen, I had this happen before, and I don't have time to argue so what are you going to do about it?" He acted like he was doing me a HUGE favor by fixing their cheap faulty lenses. As I was waiting for him to look at my file before he agreed, a lady customer asked him what the letters stood for on a pair of glasses and then she asked if it was the brand name, he said yes and she said oh okay- then he said Yea its okay (but in a real sarcastic tone as if to say yeah dumb ass that's what is is) and I couldn't believe the attitude of this kid! Miles the Manager of the Vision Works store is sarcastic and unprofessional and he tries to hide it when the people that work with him are around but as soon as they leave he acts like a little spoiled brat! Hes about 26 years old and I think he thinks hes a big shot because he's managing or something. All I know is I will NEVER shop there or do any business with VISION WORKS. I am leaving out the larger story and everything rude he said to me because you get the main idea. Crappy service, very crappy quality lenses and VERY expensive for that crap! NEVER GO THERE OR SHOP THERE. They use bad materials and have a bad manager and glasses maker there. Horrible!!! read more

I had an appointment on Oct 13, 2020. Friendly staff. The appointment with Dr. Rhea Butchey was very thorough and she was friendly and knowledgable. Then greeted very professionally and friendly by Eunice. She was very helpful and informative with all information including my insurance coverage and what Visionworks offers. She was very patient and helpful while I picked out frames ,in fact ,she was wonderful and a positive customer service staff member like I have never experienced before! These two staff members really are a credit to this business and deserve to be acknowledged! I highly recommend this Visionworks branch. I picked up my glasses which were earlier than expected and Eunice was again very helpful and patient while explaining everything. Pleasant experience overall. read more
