Scheduled my appt smoothly online, they called to confirm before. Got in worth just a few minute wait time for doc. While I was waiting for optometrist, sales lady checked my Visión insurance for me and what I was allowed. Came out and they were ready for me and helpful. I was a little worried bc reviews on Google were either great or bad though mainly about it being busy. Went at 930 and no issue there. Did get busier as I left closer to 1030-11. Had a great experience with the two ladies that work there and prices were not as bad as I thought they'd be compared to what I've gotten before. You can combine vision insurance with their buy one get one half which was a good deal for me. read more

Don't visit on a Saturday. Hate when business associates are too busy to make money. I visited this store to buy a couple pairs of prescription sunglasses. An associate immediately asked me if I needed help. I told her I wanted to place my prescription in a specific pair of glasses. She said that the only guy that could answer that question was helping other customers checking out, and she went back to cleaning up the display racks. I waited for about 10 minutes with no help. While waiting patiently I googled a better store and left. I would have figured the knowledgeable person would be assisting customers on the floor and the less experienced on the register?! This location was full of warm and welcoming people! I was politely redirected from the retail glass side over to the eye examination side. The ladies there were very professional but not afraid to have a laugh. Which I love! The doctor has the best last name in the world! Guggemos! Not "googlemos", you millennials! I swear that last name came out of a storybook. He has a great sense of humor as well. The appointment was quick and efficient and soon I was on the other side looking for frames! Nicole J helped me and when I asked her opinions on certain frames she was honest and kind about it which counts for so much nowadays! The whole staff there seemed to get along well with each other so even though I went to the appointment by myself I didn't feel stranded. She also help me finalize the sale within my budget and was never pushy about it. My needs came first! I am also aware that you get what you give. I've been purchasing my eyewear from Visionworks for over 20 years. Ive been to several locations and to me they have the best selection. I bought two pairs of personal glasses last month at this location and was referred to the Fowler location for safety glasses for work. I spent over $500 at the Wiregrass location for new frames and a Rx update in a frame I previously purchased there. After 1-month the new frame literally fractured on my face. Ive had screws come out before and they gladly replace them at no charge as well as make adjustments ,etc. I had no doubt that they would stand behind the frame since they were not damaged but obviously defective. Although my receipt showed the due date to be less than a month they showed a pickup date just over 30-days and would not replace the glasses unless I purchased a extended warranty which was offered for $80. I felt with the investment I had made and short time I had worn the glasses I had no choice but to shell out the additional cost. I could understand if the dog ate them or something but with normal wear I was shocked that they wouldn't stand behind their product. I guess Ive just been lucky in the past and its a hard lesson to learn but I wont ever go back. It amazes me when I think of what Ive spent this year and in previous years and simple customer service would have had me coming back for as long as they were in business and now I'll never return on principle alone. read more

I had a scheduled appointment for 4:30pm. On September 23, 2020. When I arrived I was rushed in for my exam. While I was in my exam, the receptionist was instructing my wife to pick up frames on my behalf, because they were closing soon. Then when my exam was over, I was told by the receptionist to choose a frame because they were closing soon. While I was looking the male representative mentioned to me that they were closing and I need to schedule another appointment to finish my visit, because the company was not paying them overtime. Why did I even have an appointment? Now It Makes me sick that the customer is not the important factor anymore. That money is. No concern for how the customer feels. No concern that the customer is being treated rudely. No concern that I needed to be inconvenienced once again to return to finish my visit. Management needs to clean house and find people who who'll will not treat their customers like garbage. Rude and rushed visit. Will not return to this store! read more

I went there two weeks ago and bought a pair of glasses and contacts. I called to find out if my glasses were in and the person on the phone says, "Did you get a text?". I said no but it's been two weeks and usually in my experience they are back. All she could say was well when they are in you will get a text. She sounded annoyed that I was calling. You spend hundreds of dollar on this eye wear maybe the store should invest in customer service experience. read more

Things were either overpriced or I was over billed. The salesman couldn't or wouldn't break down the pricing. My total was inexplicable. I paid the same amount with insurance as I would pay for the exact same glasses online without insurance. How is that possible? The poly lenses and anti reflective comes out to 160 after insurance? I'm not pleased. I would have been better off buying online and saving my insurance benefit for literally anything else. read more

If I could give these people a -10 I would! I called simply to schedule an appointment as a new client. I've never been to their location but I've been to other Visionworks. They asked me what the issue was and I gave them an explanation of what was going on with my eye and why I wanted an appointment see the optometrist. The receptionist puts me on hold then she comes back and says "sorry I cannot give you any advice due to legal reasons." I wasn't calling to ask for advice. I was simply calling to schedule an appointment to see the optometrist. What the fuck did legal reasons have to do with having an eye issue and wanting to schedule an appointment with the optometrist? These people are complete idiots! There was no other context to our conversation to even allude to anything else that could possibly be construed as anything legal. Went here to get glasses about a week ago. Service was top notch and staff was very friendly. I picked out a beautiful Kate Spade frame and needed help deciding between sunglass frames. Rebecca helped me narrow down my choices and found me the perfect pair! I got a call that my glasses were ready early so I could pick them up and I can see very well out of both pairs. This was my first and last time going to Visionworks. I went to get my eyes examined to get a new prescription for my contacts and showed up ten minutes early for my scheduled appointment and wasn't seen until almost an hour later. Then after my exam the "retail side" was crowded and I had to return to work so I left and called to order them. The girl told me that she was on the doctors side and the two sales associates were busy. She took my name and number and said someone would call me back. No one called so I called the next day and again was told they were busy. She asked my name and said they still have the note to call me and I explained I have no contacts and I've already called and no one called back. She assured me someone would get back to me that day. Unfortunately nobody called me back so I will take my business elsewhere. I think maybe you should invest in a sales associate responsible for the phones alone if you are that busy. It's not acceptable for paying customers. Definitely won't be back here ever again!!! read more

Began on time and then looked for glasses when completed with very little pressure. Average pricing with insurance and the usual bogo on basic frames for people without insurance. read more

This Visionworks is only about a month old, and were having trouble operating when we went to pick up a pair of glasses. The wait, in terms of days, was very long to receive the glasses. The choices at this location (and the location on Fletcher had the same exact choices) were not that nice or stylish, esp for the prices. They need more higher end brands. The people working at both locations were pleasant, but we will not be back to this chain for glasses again. read more
